Two years later we are here again. Great service. Looks like their menu got more stuff. Tried waffle with strawberries and banana. Definitely 10/10. All drinks were great too.

    Peanut Butter Bowl

Found this hidden gem today on our e-bike ride down to Seal Beach. We were craving some açaí bowls so we decided to give Marina cafe a try and we're glad we did! We both went with the peanut butter açaí bowls it comes with delicious açaí base strawberries, blueberries, banana slices, peanut butter, granola, coconut shreds, and honey. The bowl was delicious, aesthetically pleasing, all ingredients tasted fresh and the açaí was amazing, texture and consistency was perfect! Our new favorite açaí place! We definitely recommend!

Great drinks, strong and perfectly made. This is a to-go establishment that makes each drink with love and consistency. There are no seats nor decor although it is very clean and organized. Drinks are strong yet flavorful. I recommend the Vietnamese coffee. It is a slightly sweet yet bold flavored iced coffee that will give you plenty of energy There is typically just a single worker with a smile to greet you as you walk in. Parking on main street is scarce so you may need to circle the street parking or pay within walking distance.

    Original Milk Tea

Cute little spot right across from the Seal Beach Pier, located in a small strip of shops. The interior is cozy and inviting, and they have a pretty big menu of drinks and snacks. I ordered the original milk tea with boba, but it didn't live up to the setting. The drink was very watered down. It is lacking the bold tea flavor and creamy richness you'd expect. It just wasn't enjoyable, but still tried to finish it since it was a bit pricey. The boba was okay, but overall it just didn't hit the mark. Customer service was just fine. It's not particularly friendly, but not rude either. Just ok vibe, but I wouldn't recommend the milk tea. Maybe other menu items are better, but this one fell flat.

Nutella açai bowl and Mexican hot chocolate

Hidden gem alert! Marina Café has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered the Mexican hot cocoa and an açai bowl, and both were delicious. They offer a great variety of sweet treats as well as savory options, so there's something for everyone. I highly recommend Marina Café to both visitors and locals looking for a charming spot to relax and enjoy great food. I'll definitely be going back. Thank you, Emma, for your help!

This tiny place is located on Main Street, a stone's throw from the Seal Beach pier. It's located next door to Cold Stone. They offer a variety of coffees (both hot and cold) and boba drinks as well as savory and sweet crepes. The interior is so small there is no seating, barely enough room for 3 or 4 people to stand. At the time of this writing they just received city approval for a curb counter so there might be sidewalk seating by the time you read this. On a warm day I ordered a hazelnut frappuccino. The woman, one of the owners, was very welcoming and friendly. It took a minute to make my drink which I enjoyed as I walked near the pier. The frappuccino was cold and refreshing; the whipped cream on top was lapped up immediately. Flavors of both coffee and hazelnut were equally distinct. Definitely a far better frappuccino than what is made by the behemoth coffee chain that supposedly originated it.

Always love coming to Marina , getting an iced coffee, coffee , tea or yummy hot & made to order crepes! Everything is so fresh and good and most of all family owned, the staff is always so happy to see you!

I said, "Yoooooo"! Fresh fruit smoothies, squeezed OJ, Boba, and crepes are all part of my foodie-love language! I can't believe this place has all 4 and does them all exceptionally! I was greeted warmly and given plenty of space to read over & make a great decision. I love the outdoor seating and it's right next to the pier!

I had the passion fruit tea 25% sweet which was technically advertised as made with real passion fruit puree but it was just a premade syrup from Teazone. I received the drink and was disappointed that it tasted like water with some passion fruit resemblance. I had expected a stronger tea flavor since I did less sweet, but it tasted like sweetened water. I ended up discarding the drink. We also had gotten a classic black milk tea, which also tasted watered down, and finally we got the ube coconut smoothie, which for some reason was grey and white. We got that one at 75% sweet, but it was way too sweet and left a weird residue in my mouth. Very disappointed and would not come back again.

Their Peach Oolong and Passionfruit black tea with their jellies. They don't do the typical coconut based small pieces of jelly, instead opting for house made with jelly. The price of these drinks is super reasonable, the tea quality great, and the jellies refreshing and delicious. 2. On the more premium side price wise, the taro milk tea here is nonetheless worth it. They use 100% real taro. No syrup. No powder. On top of that, even compared to other places which use real taro, this is the best iteration of the drink I've had. Subtly earthy and only slightly sweet, creamy, even with oat milk. An incredible drink. The vibe is relaxing and nice. Service is solid to great, depending on who is working. The owner is very kind!!! Seating is pleasant. Parking is the only issue since the city metered everything, but if you're grabbing a going, try the Total Wines or Target lot. You'll be fine. The interior leans minimalist -- lots of white, light wood tabletops, and green plant accents that match the "Monstera" name. It's a calm and comfortable space to sit for a while. They also have board games like chess, Uno, and Jenga, which makes it feel more like a casual hangout spot than just a quick grab-and-go tea shop. What I ordered: Peach Hibiscus tea with rainbow jelly 5 macarons (pistachio x2, vanilla, strawberry, and another flavor everything except caramel) Fried chicken tenders & fries combo They offer 10% off if you follow them on Instagram or Facebook, which brought my total to about $25. The Peach Hibiscus tea ended up being the highlight. It was refreshing and not overly sweet, and the rainbow jelly added a fun texture. I was a little disappointed they were out of boba, since that's usually my go-to topping. The macarons looked nice visually but the flavors didn't quite come through. The pistachio in particular tasted mostly sweet rather than having a distinct pistachio flavor. The shells were also a bit chewy with slightly uneven edges. The fried chicken tenders and fries ended up being the biggest issue. Two guests ahead of me had already been waiting around 30 minutes before I even placed my order. After ordering, it became clear the kitchen hadn't actually started the food yet. I could hear one staff member explaining to another how to make the tenders and mentioning that the process takes about 7 minutes total. Hearing that while watching orders sit unprepared made the delay a bit confusing. The couple ahead of me had ordered about 10 minutes before I did and still hadn't received their food either. The staff seemed to be enjoying themselves and chatting, which is great for morale, but the service side didn't feel very focused on getting orders out in a timely way. Eventually I decided to ask for a refund rather than continue waiting. I also noticed they sell $18 individual cakes that come in small square tins (similar to tiramisu containers). They might taste great, but visually they looked fairly simple, so the price point felt a bit high for what you see. Overall: The space itself is pleasant and the tea was refreshing. It's also nice that they provide games for people to hang out. Unfortunately, between the food delays, items being out of stock, and the feeling that the kitchen wasn't fully prepared yet, the experience ended up feeling like a lot of money spent without much payoff. Personally it's not a spot I'd return to, though the atmosphere may still appeal to people looking for a place to relax and play a game
