    Iced lavender latte..
    Kristina F.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Came in on a Monday mid-morning, there were a handful of people quietly working on their laptops. The interior was spacious and bright, with ample seating and tons of natural lighting. My husband noticed immediately that they were playing A Tribe Called Quest, so bonus points for setting the vibe. I ordered a 12oz iced lavender latte. Their housemade lavender syrup was definitely as flower-y as you would hope it would be. The espresso was robust but not bitter, and the whole drink felt super classy. It was also pricey, but it's 2026 so. I highly recommend paying them a visit at this new location, especially if you plan to hang out for a little while.

Had a warmed up croissant bc you can never go wrong with that & a vanilla latte which was mehhh. Stopped by bc I found this place on IG. Shop was kinda plain but plenty of seating to sip your coffee. Customer service was okay but I liked that they seemed to know their regulars! Probably a cool place to hang if you're a local.

Having visited the original Cyclops Coffee several times, we were excited to check out the new shop on Anaheim Street today. What a great location! I think this will become a very popular local spot. I love the decor...simple and streamlined, with a cram and brown color scheme. It is very inviting and pleasant. Lots of windows flood the space with light. The coffee is excellent. The treats are baked by the outstanding Colossus Bakery! Service was great! The staff were very nice, encouraging us to find a seat and they would bring our drinks to us. We enjoyed a beautiful morning here today...and will definitely be back!

Big coffee shop with a lot of seating and delicious coffee and colossus baked goods. Always has great seasonal drinks to try. Right across from the library on Anaheim.

Love the people and coffee at Cyclops (Clark). LOVE that there is now a cute, high quality coffee spot on this little section of Anaheim. I went during the day and street parking was plentiful. My cappuccino with banana syrup was excellent. The aesthetic is minimal and calming, and I liked that they just had chill lo-fi music playing. A great space to work (free wifi) or catch up with friends!

So glad there's finally a coffee shop in my neighborhood that I could walk to! Parking can be a little difficult as it's mostly street parking. Inside is very spacious and well lit. Their coffee and pastries are delicious. The baristas were all so nice and welcoming. Will definitely stop by again to try other drinks on their menu.

    nasty watery warm matcha

why is this place so bad each time? last time my latte was a warm, watered down coffee with zero flavor. I knew not to get coffee again so I tried a simple matcha. NOPE. even worse. just by the color u can tell how gross it was. A warm, milky, but watery ??? matcha. this location sucks or yall need new baristas

Iced vanilla latte with cold foam

Cute place staff super friendly. Coffee was a little expensive but worth it! I got an iced latte with vanilla cold foam. Tasted bomb. Definitely will be back and let my coworkers know we work 2 min walking distance (:

Moved to the area over the weekend and was excited to try this place within walking distance of me. Never again :( Because what do you mean $16 for a caramel latte and a croissant? Latte had close to no syrup in it either. No wonder the place is empty, this was an expensive bummer. On the plus side the space was clean, barista was nice.

My favorite coffee shop just opened its second location and I'm pumped for them. The people who run this place are top tier, so seeing their growth is well deserved. Staff is friendly and always welcoming. I'm usually a latte or iced Americano guy, with the occasional seasonal detour, and somehow everything on the menu always delivers. The new space is beautiful, packed with natural light, and instantly boosts your mood. Steven, my only issue now is deciding which location gets my morning coffee loyalty--but honestly, I'll survive.

I came in on Sunday during the soft opening weekend. I'm so excited to have a great coffee shop open so close by! Wishing you lots or success and happiness in the Long Beach community!

They encourage you to order ahead, and their website is straightforward and easy to use. You don't have to order ahead, but know they might sell out of your pie. First visit was to sample pies for a birthday celebration. I got the marionberry, salted caramel (GF) and raspberry dream. On the second trip for the actual birthday pie, I picked the salted caramel b/c the group is a chocolate crowd. Third time, just wanted pie! Also sampled the cutie pies in the jar... I don't think the mini pie made it home lol. Today (#4 visit) I was craving the raspberry dream and wanted to try the apple pie. My current ranking of pie I've tried is: 1. Raspberry dream, 2. salted caramel, 3. White chocolate raspberry (cutie pie), 4. marionberry (nicely tart, full of berries but a bit dry, went well with ice cream), 5. whiskey peach (too much crust, not enough peach, not very peachy). The shop has some seating but I only saw one group seated once. I always took my pies home to enjoy. The Lemon Lavender Pie was a little too subtle on lavender. The Key Lime Pie lacked that tart, tangy punch. Unfortunately, the overall flavors felt a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point and relatively small slice sizes. On the positive side, the service was friendly, and the shop had a cozy atmosphere with board games available for customers to enjoy. Seating inside is limited, and parking can be a bit of a challenge.

Located in the quaint Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, street parking was plentiful right outside the restaurant. We came around noon on Saturday, and thankfully despite their busy brunch rush we were seated immediately. Even though all of their seating is outdoors, tables are shaded by overhanging canopy and just added to the cute southern Italian bistro vibes of the place. The menu had a solid selection of both brunch and lunch items - I loved the Burrata di Campagna, which was flavorful with just the right amount of tart from the heirloom tomatoes. For my main meal I had to go with the Casarecce - one of their pastas that's made fresh in house daily. The braided pasta was wonderfully textured and soaked up all the pesto sauce without being overly oily, a perfect meal for a hot summer day. We finished our meal with a Nutella Croissant, from their artisan bakery that also makes their bread fresh every day. Perhaps I am a little biased, but the laminated dough was perfectly light and flaky, encasing a very generous filling of hazelnut chocolate cream. Our check at the end of the meal even came with a custom drawn postcard by one of the Nonna Mercato service staff - another present to add on to what was already a gift of a meal!

I spoke with a woman who took my name and confirmed the cancellation. The next day, I was hit with a $100 charge. It's shocking to see a restaurant that claims to be part of the community show absolutely no compassion when a family is dealing with an emergency. Charging someone after acknowledging a cancellation under those circumstances is unacceptable. This place clearly lacks the heart and humanity that a neighborhood business should have. I spoke with the restaurant manager Patrick after calling multiple times to speak with someone and he basically said he is not willing to refund the charge because they order food ahead of time. The food here is great but the service I received is awful.
