Visited this Rad while in the area. I ordered The Wolf and it was really good. Service was fast and efficient and there are a lot of cool things to look at, play, or buy, while you wait. The downsides are that their seating area was closed, and apparently it has been closed for at least a year. It's disappointing that they really don't want you to sit and enjoy your drink, study etc., just grab your drink and go. I've gone to the Riverside location, as well, and there is no where to sit. Another disappointment is the larger drinks don't come with the signature Rad logo (skull) on the cups (at both locations I've been to), so it's not very distinctive from any other coffee shop. read more

What a "rad" place! Hah. This place is such a vibe, love!! So many unique drinks to choose from which is pretty awesome. They have pinball machines which is always fun to see and they had fun merch and snacks. The worker was very nice and helpful when we couldn't decide what to order. I really wanted to try their Cinnamon Toast but it didn't have caffeine in it, I could've added but I wanted to try something as is, no modifications. My bf ended up ordering the Cinnamon Toast since he doesn't drink coffee and that way I could try it. I liked it! But definitely a "dessert" type drink. Tried a vegan smores bar. Good but very sweet. Also ordered a cinnamon frapp decaf. I liked that they have decaf options. The whip cream was dark purple which I guess looks cool but not a fan of color additives and it stains your lips/tongue. It was good but very sweet. I went in originally to do some work on my laptop and after I ordered I realized there are no tables in the place at all. Only a pick up and go place. I asked if I could get a refund before he made my drink but the worker said they can't give refunds without the owner there. So I spent 12 bucks and went to another coffee shop lol. My boyfriend got the ripper, which his was 10000x worse in flavor than mine. We both were absolutely disgusted by what we got and it's truly so sad to say that! I also did NOT get any cereal on top of my blended drink and there was a couple right before us who got a blended drink and got cereal on top of theirs, so i'm not sure why my drink didn't come with it. Rad coffee has so much potential! I've had the Spanish latte and it's delicious but you have to order it with 25% sweetness. Even the worker suggested it! I'm glad she did! In my last visit, I noticed that their outside patio is closed and there is no other seating area. This place has so much potential for customers, but without anywhere to sit and eat, it's easier to go down the street and find a café where you can chill. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing, primarily due to the customer service. As it was our first time there, we were a little indecisive about our orders. I approached the counter and asked the worker for recommendations, mentioning that I don't like sweet drinks. Instead of being helpful, he responded in a rude manner, essentially asking, "Well, what do you like? You can tell they put real creativity into their drinks, and it totally pays off. What really stood out, though, was the service. I had a good experience here so I came back with my boyfriend!! We got the Horror-Chata and the Frankenstein. The Horror-Chata was iced blended, but it was really good! I saw it on the Halloween / Fall themed menu flyer, and I thought it sounded interesting. I think the difference between this and a regular horchata was that it was iced blended and had caramel and pumpkin flavoring in it. The Frankenstein surprised me, and it was good as well. I thought matcha and mint wouldn't be a good combination, but it was really good! You can taste more of the mint than matcha, but they combine well. The employees are always friendly and kind. They told us to ask them any question we may have. The cafe is always clean, and my boyfriend told me the bathroom is decorated pretty cool. One of the pinball machines weren't working which sucked, but I'm sure they'll get it fixed. I would come back here, and I'll definitely recommend it to others. Rad Coffee makes my favorite PSL of all time. I was in town and wanted to catch up with a friend of mine. Rad Coffee was the closest non-Starbucks option so we tried it. The punk rock decor is amazing. I will say the only downside is that they don't offer seating so this isn't a spot to stop and chat. However, the coffee is good enough to just hang out in your car afterward. There are pinball machines to play as an alternative. The menu had so many unique options that it took a few minutes to decide. The barista working the counter was so helpful and knew about all the drinks. He was able to help my friend decide between a few options. They had a ton of vegan dessert options and some cute merch. I got the Pumpkin King. It comes only as a 32-oz drink, complete with 4 shots of espresso and some cold brew concentrate, The white chocolate is very subtle, and the cinnamon bun pumpkin sauce kept it from tasting like a latte with too much pumpkin pie spice dumped in as an afterthought. Service was super quick. About 10 people were lined up as we were leaving, and we were shocked at how quickly the two employees could serve up entire trays of drinks! read more
