Okay, so, if you're someone who enjoys complex dynamics in the flavor and texture of your food/drink, you're going to see "caramel miso latte" and be very intrigued. Yield to that curiosity and order it, iced, with your preferred milk. And prepare to have your mind blown. Like for real, I took a sip of that latte and felt immediately inspired. Slightly puzzled. Completely enamoured. I am only *kind of* exaggerating. IT WAS SO GOOD. Sweet and creamy and buttery and umami. A bit salty, and the espresso was perfectly pulled. Absolutely craveworthy. The shop itself was super cute with plenty of seating! Street parking in DTLB will have you needing to feed the meters if you plan on staying long, but they're free til 9am so early birds rejoice. Please do yourself a favor and try the caramel miso latte if it captures your attention. Chances are you're gonna love it.

Maple Lavender Latte

The Maple Lavender Latte was a 10/10! Maybe in the top 5 best coffees I've ever had. I like my coffees sweet, and it was just perfect. Honestly reminded me of like a chocolate orange because of the orange garnish on top. Barista was sweet. And the cafe is cute.

When I want to smile in life, I go here. Impeccable service, kind easy to talk to baristas. They all steam the most incredible almond milk, which is rlly hard to do. Espresso and matcha is extremely consistent in quality, I love when a place knows what they have is perfect and sticks with it. They also have vegan bahn mi popups on select days which is the most special treat. I usually get the bahn mi breakfast burrito, highly recommend. Also lovely lighting and ambiance at the corner location. Thank you Rose Park on Pine!! Y'all work hard so your neighbors can have more joy in life:)

Came here on Wednesday around 2:30pm. Street parking some free some paid. Free WiFi. One bathroom stall. Was cool inside. Service was alright. Ordered a vanilla iced coffee. Wanted a caramel drizzle but they don't do drizzles. It tasted good. There weren't many pastries by the time I arrived.

I'm very impressed by this place. I visited on a Friday morning and found it to be busy, but not crowded. There were plenty of seats and tables, and you can find yourself having a productive study session here. The caramel miso latte may have been toned down in sweetness and the caramel flavor was more subtle, but it was still a smooth and delicious drink with buttery flavor notes. Also what made this great was that the expresso shot was dialed just perfectly, so that I the latte didn't taste acidic.

Rose Park Roasters are my favorite coffee in Long Beach. The coffee has a very strong and aromatic taste. This Rose Park Roasters coffee shop location is in particular very cozy, spacious, and relaxing. The pastries are delicious. I had the pear tart and it was amazing!

Stumbled upon this coffee shop while in Long Beach and it was a great space with friendly service. I arrived on a Friday morning and street parking was super easy. The shop has a lot of seating and is roomy with a couple rooms with seating. Lots of tables and chairs. The barista who helped me was really friendly. I ended up ordering a matcha latte and it was delicious! They serve hot food, lots of different drinks, and had wine for sale. They did charge me $0.75 for honey in my matcha lol which I thought was wild haha. If I'm in the area and need a drink, I'd go back again.

I loved this cute and spacious coffee shop! It looks like a great place to sit and get some work done, which I will consider doing in the future! I tried their seasonal options for the holidays. The egg nog scone was divine, very moist for a scone as well which I loved. I also loved the Herb and Root latte which I got with almond milk. It was essentially a sweet potato latte but the surprise was the roasted rosemary! The rosemary was the perfect touch and completely elevated this drink. Everything was delightful. I will absolutely be back!

Americano in a mug

This coffee shop is fantastic for self-study or a small-sized group chat. The shop is airy and bright from natural and hanging lights. I ordered the AMERICANO to drink inside, and they poured the drink into a porcelain mug. The service took less than a minute. They also have free Wi-Fi and a few outdoor tables by the walkway. Two-hour street parking is available around the neighborhood. Make sure to check the time when there is street cleaning. The atmosphere was amazing, and I wasn't distracted studying. I'm definitely returning to this place.

This is such a cute place! Great study spot, but feels like a hidden gem. The matcha latte that they had was super delicious. I also think it's a nice addition that they offer re-usable glass cups rather than to-go plastic cups. Super quick service! One struggle - it's 2 hour max parking so it makes it difficult to do a longer study session.

Has a good vibe and decent coffee. 7/10. For some reason I like this cold brew better than the other long beach location even though they're the same beans and should have been made the same way.

Any place that servers Kombucha or Kombucha on tap is a win by me! This is another open space coffee concept and I like the theme. Nice area for studying or sipping coffee and the coffee was solid, one of the best I've had all month. The only thing about this location is its...well, location. While just outside the heart of downtown, and parking was proximal, its not near anything else other than residences which is great if you live near by, but for me, since I'm not local, after the coffee I'm just in my car and on my way. Can't wait to try the other locations!

Came here on a lazy Monday morning around 10:30 AM joined by my sister who was visiting from Arizona. Her version of being a coffee person, is basically drinking black coffee, but after she tried what I recommended, which was the maple lavender latte she was completely impressed by the flavors and the hint of orange. Impress so much show that she is going to start ordering espresso. The ambience of this location was very relaxed. It was not busy. The barista was alone, but she did not delay with our orders. We sat in the back patio under the sun and just enjoyed two hours of uninterrupted time. Well spent definitely a place to go!

This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.

Our favorite is the chocolate concha. It is crisp, fresh, and has the slightest sourdough flavor. I tried the dona one time and while it was great. It was just too much for me. Literally, we had to bring it home. I would suggest splitting this because of its size and it has a lot of almond and jam so it's hefty. I also tried their jamon which was sooooo good. I would get this again. For drinks we have tried their Atole, Dulce de Leche and Horchata with Cold Brew. My new favorite is the Horchata. It is so well complimented by the cold brew and it's so smooth and not too sweet. My husband also liked the taste he tried but he went with my now second favorite the Dulce de Leche. What I love about this place is that everything is balanced. Its not too much of anything just perfect. The concha isn't too sweet. It's balanced by the sourdough which is complex. The coffees which anywhere else would be a sugar bomb are just right. The sugar highlights the brilliance of whatever it is paired with whether that is bread or coffee.
