So sad there is no more horchata cupcake. They got rid of it a while ago. Now I get the tres leches muffin. Very soft and moist in the center with the tres leches. I also love their chocolate Mexicano frappe. They use monin chocolate syrup, which I love. I find the drive thru moves pretty quickly and service inside has been fast as well. I've never had a bad experience here. Many people sit inside to study or get some work done. There are plenty of tables and plenty of parking spaces outside.
The service was polite and punctual, I went through the drive through, there's always a long line but they get it moving. My coffee was delicious.
After a dinner with a friend of mine, we went for coffee. Now please know that this was after most other places seemed to be closing. So we chose Tierra Mia Coffee. I've been to one before, but I enjoyed this location. The staff member that took our order was very helpful in explaining the flavors and was pleasant to talk with. Although the lady serving the drinks seemed like she was tired. Hahaha, and not as friendly. Hahaha... Regardless, it was busy at some point in time, but never got overly noisy. So it was a comfortable setting to hang out and talk while enjoying our drinks. If I'm ever up for coffee and in the area, I would definitely go back and try some of their other flavors. I can't say I'm an expert at their blends of coffee, but I did enjoy my Mazapan Peanut Frappe, and strawberry tres leches muffin. Enjoy!!
Chocolate Mexicano Frappe: 4/5 Imagine a chocolate chip frappe with a dash of cinnamon. It's usually sweeter and bit stronger, but I think they were training someone new. It's a very pleasant and smooth flavor. The texture is icy, but in a good way, kind of like a finer shave ice. You should try it at least once! Sugar-Free Vanilla Almond Milk Latte: 4.5/5 They don't skimp out on the syrup here. I found it a little too sweet, but next time I will ask for it with less syrup. Like most lattes, the milks and syrups are pretty generic but I love the coffee here. Smoky and dark make it very flavorful and satisfying. Ambiance: I've never actually gone inside, only the drive through. Service: Even with long lines, the drive through is quick. Service has always been kind and attentive. Parking: Parking is a little cramped and you can get trapped by the drive-thru line. Not big car friendly.

Love Tierra Mia! Haven't been here in a while but use to love it when they first opened the Long Beach location. My favorite is the rice and beans frappe. Great Latin inspired drinks and pastries. Always delicious. If you're in the mood for a coffee with a unique twist I definitely recommend. Also the late hours are so convenient when you're in the mood for some coffee or something sweet late at night! This location can be busy and has an odd drive through but luckily the staff does a good job to keep the flow moving.
This place is an absolute lifesaver for getting work done. 5 stars for saving my life. Lol I dropped my mom off at her doctor's clinic, which is just a short 40 steps away, for her f/u and IV injections. While I was waiting, I quickly realized the Dr's office didn't offer any free Wi-Fi, and I didn't want to drain my hotspot (I'd already burned through 30 mins) Soooo.... I decided to make a quick getaway to Tierra Mia Coffee, and wooooow genius ol' me should have thought of that a long time ago. The ambiance inside was so cozy and vibrant, it's giving Latino cultural vibes. Loved it. I ordered a matcha drink (of course) and was delightful. Along w/ that a tres leche muffin I couldn't finish. (big back status) I've also tried their delicious Horchata frappé in the past, which was 5/5. Next on my list? The Lavender Latte. Customer service was great and it was quick. I managed to knock out some work while sipping on my matcha, all while awaiting my mamasita's return. What an enjoyable experience! Thanks for reading if you made it thus far.
Moved out of LA to Arizona and Tierra Mia is the one coffee shop I miss the most!! Every time I come back to visit, Tierra Mia is a must! Per usual, I always order sweet drinks so my go to is always the Horchata frappe... I love it every single time! This last trip I was hesitant on trying something different as I didn't want to regret wasting a drink knowing I wouldn't be able to come back the next day for my usual drink. I ended up changing it up. I had their horchata matcha and will say, I did not regret it! I was back in town the following week and decided to get their matcha again, I changed the milk to oat milk but I wasn't a fan. I felt like it changed the flavor tremendously tasting more like just milk. If your interested in trying it out, I recommend having it with the original milk. The service is always helpful, attentive, and accommodating! To me, it looks like the seating area could be a little more upkept. Other than that, I 100% recommend Tierra Mia Coffee and Pastries!
It never fails with this location. When there isn't a 20 minute wait and you finally dont have to deal with a rude barista, and you get the nastiest drink ever. I ordered a rice n beans frapp like always. Right when I got my drink, I could tell there was something wrong. When I asked the barista why it was so dark he said thats how they make them. Mind you, this is the only drink I order here so I know what it should look like. When I took a drink it qas super strong. Too many coffee beans, by the 3rd drink I couldn't drink more. It was nasty. When I got home n poured my drink in the sink ,the whole bottom of my cup was ground coffee beans!! No wonder it tasted horrible. I dont know why i ever gave this location another chance. Definitely gonna consider going to the Lynnwood location next time
I had the dulce de leche iced latte and a churro muffin and I was a happy camper after that. They were both delicious! The service was great, no complaints! The ambiance was nice! I will be back if I'm in the area! Thank you!
I've been coming to this location for years now, and it'll always be a staple in my coffee on the go spots. I love that they have a drive thru! I usually order the same thing when I go but it was the last day of the year and I was like let me go out with a small bang and try something *different*. I tried the horchata matcha and boy was I surprised! This was a whole different flavor introduced to my palate. I was slurping on this drink like there was no tomorrow it was so giggity good!! I would hear about people raving about horchata matchas on social media but I would always forget about it. But wow. 10/10. Better than your ex. If you like horchata and you like matcha, you HAVE to try it. If you don't like matcha or horchata then don't try it. And if you like one and not the other flip a coin and see if it's your day to try it. For pastries I'm giving up my gatekeeping here but the tres leches muffin warmed up??? Ayoooooo that's some next level stuff. Absolutely heavenly. The way it's super moist and warm AND just melts in your mouth, hey stick with me I'm talking about a muffin... it's just very memorable and hard to forget about. Also it was extremely busy for being NYE so the customer service was lacking in terms of friendliness and such-- they just took my order and went back to making drinks but hey I get it there's was probably 12 drinks waiting to be made from the drive thru alone. The inside has plenty space to have ur cafecito and chisme. But the parking is very limited and it's a small lot.

Love this location, fast, clean and with a scenic drive home it's the best way to enjoy your drinks and pastries. Can never go wrong with the horchata frappe 10/10 Their tres leche muffin is another must try. They definitely have an excellent selection to choose from. The workers always so friendly and great service. They have a good amount of inside sitting area, they have restrooms, and drive thru. Definitely a recommended spot to try. read more

I love this coffee shop and spot! I always come here in the morning and the line is usually not that long. I love their Rice and Beans Frappé! It's my go to! I love the combination of the horchata and coffee beans! I get the crunch while I sip on my coffee. It's usually more calm during the morning before 9AM, after that, it's always busy here so lines can get pretty big and noisy. read more

Great coffee! I had a caramel macchiato and Justin had a mocha blend. Both were delicious. Service was on point. Lots of parking, drive through & sitting arrangements. No outside sitting though. read more
Food: 5/5 The ice horacata matcha latte was very tasty. Not overly sweet, minimal ice. The taste of horchata is definitely present and really can't go wrong with green tea match. The guava cheese pastry was wonderful. The smell of heated pastry bread is so good during a morning pickup! Service: 4/5 Staff was nice and quick. Soo busy if you go anytime after 10am!! We went at 11am on a Sunday and finally made it to the pickup window at 11:25am. The parking lot is really small so if you park near the drive thru line you're most likely going to get stuck. I ordered the Horchata frappe and it's so good, definitely their most popular, I'd recommend trying it read more

The more chances I try to give this Tierra Mia it just gets and get worse asked for a pistacho cold brew was given a pistacho latte then when asking kindly to remake my drink they can not make it or shake it to at least have the flavor be on the whole drink and not just the bottom !!! read more

This is my first bad experience at the location. I don't mind the long wait in the drive through but my coffee was completely wrong and i didn't get a receipt. I ordered a medium iced horchata latte with oat milk. I got a small coffee with regular milk. I am beyond disappointed in the service today. And to top it off my total was almost $10. read more

Excellent! Do NOT let the long long long long drive-thru line discourage you. It's totally worth the wait. We had the cubanito- hot (available cold as well) and the cocolito and also the matcha and the orchata cappuccino cold.... They were ALL VERY good! Yes!!! We all tasted each other's drinks and we are all happy we did because we loved them all. Highly recommend. The guy that took our order on the drive-thru was very nice and informative. read more
This store opened on March 4, 2016. I saw it go up but had no desire to try it out. One day soon after they opened, my cousin asked me to have coffee with her. She took me here and I had no idea what to order. I went with something familiar to me. Horchata and a frappe. I've had horchata before and mocha frappes from Starbucks and McDonald's but never had a horchata frappe. I also ordered a tres leches muffin. Mind.blown. The horchata frappe has the texture of a regular frappe but at the same time has this light creaminess to it. I can't describe it correctly but it's so delicious. The tres leches muffin was amazing. Sweet but not like sugary sweet. More like a milky sweet. Ugh you just really have to try them both if you haven't already! With 20 locations in So Cal and 1 in Oakland, there's bound to be one close enough to you to try! 9/10 minus one star for the tight drive-thru. read more

Yes it's a pound cake muffin & they inject condensed milk in the center and let it sit for 30 min or more. They don't do it there, their pastries come daily from other bakeries such as Porto's, but I think they make their muffins them selfs off site…
Do this location offer any non dairy substitutions for the coffee?
They do offer soy and almond milk. I actually prefer the iced horchata latte with almond milk, it tastes better!

It can get super busy depending on the time of the day and day of the week. During the weekends, definitely busy. Weekdays from 9am to 3:00 pm, not that busy. You might want to arrive early to secure the tables.
