My kids have also had their matcha and say it is so tasty. Price point is good at $6.75 for a regular size and so much better than THAT chain. My boyfriend and I came to try this place out after seeing some videos of it online! The inside was clean and had a contemporary modern vibe! The staff were kind and they have a somewhat extensive menu of various drinks for coffee and matcha. Also just FYI asking for less ice means less drink! This coffee cafe is located in a Target shopping plaza. Their menu has quite a few unique espresso drinks. A lot of matcha latte options if you like those. I ordered a Vanilla Marble Espresso. There is a fair amount of seating inside, which, as others point out, is often completely taken by students. Such was the case when I visited. So I took my drink outside to one of several outdoor tables (wasn't sure if they were meant for customers of this place or Afters next door). This iced drink was quite good. The espresso was intense and bold with the vanilla cream providing an equally bold sweet and creamy flavor. The contrasting tastes melded well together. Cute, very clean cafe in the Target shopping plaza across from the Veterans Building. Now, be prepared because some of their Matcha lattes, only come cold because of the way that they create the cold foam. I asked for a hot Matcha banana latte, and the staff was more than happy to accommodate me by making a couple adjustments. We went with oat milk and added banana syrup. Yum Yum. Their coffee is brewed from high-quality beans from the Buon Ma Thuot Province in Vietnam. They use a balance of Robusta and Arabica beans which gives their coffee a bold and rich flavor. They aim to give coffee lovers around the world an authentic Vietnamese coffee experience. The inside of the coffee shop is clean, modern and spacious. This location is the one off of 7th st and bellflower in Long Beach. In the newly renovated plaza where Target is. It is Across the street from the VA hospital and Cal State Long Beach. There is plenty of parking out front. They have free wifi and a place where to plug your laptop. Making it highly suitable for doing work. It is always packed with students. The menu is really unique with Specialty Drinks like Pistachio Espresso (which i had), Hazelnut Coffee, and traditional Vietnamese Egg Coffee. They serve both traditional Vietnamese phin drip coffee and modern espresso-based drinks. (See full menu attached in pictures) The pistachio espresso is served cold. It had a strong, rich and bold taste but not bitter, the pistachio cream added the perfect balance of sweet but still not too sweet. It was really interesting and very good. This place has so many Matcha options! If this is what you're looking for, this is your spot. We decided to try this coffee shop mainly for the Matcha. The banana Matcha, while the foam was delicious, the Matcha itself lacked flavor. It was a bit watered down and didn't have that Matcha taste. While the tiramisu latte was excellent! My hazelnut coffee was smooth, slightly chocolatey, and not bitter at all. You can tell they take care in how they brew it, and the balance was spot on. Located right next to a nail salon and dry cleaner in the Target shopping center this place was easy to find....parking however was bit trickier! Set again a busy enough street and multiple businesses made up close parking hard so just be prepared for that. Folks inside were real nice, we tried 2 of their menu items- Black seseame & Banana cream - and also a plain hot Americano. Now I have some metal in mouth and like my coffee hot but not incredibly so, so I was ok with temperature- but my MIL and husband said there's were not hot enough, especially the americano since it only had a splash of milk. I did appreciate the employee was able to accommodate me and turning my banana cream cold drink (as per the menu) into a hot drink... It just meant removing the cold foam and using banana syrup in the coffee itself which I thought tasted amazing. The inside is very minimalist seating but they had a couple chairs and tables on the front patio walkway area as well. I don't live over here, but I will be back when I'm in the area. Since I heard this coffee shop was opening, I have been interested in trying it. Finally finding myself in the shopping center, I popped on in. They have an interesting menu. A bit different than I expected, but many items that caught my attention. I narrowed my choice this 1st visit to 2 possibilities, then asked the employee for their opinion. Double matcha it was!! Overall, it was pretty good. The best part for me was it was not sweet. I could actually taste the matcha. Comparing to another double matcha I had recently, this one didn't stack up. Finally got to try this trending coffee shop I keep seeing on my tiktok! This spot opened a few months ago and has been on my list. We ordered the Vanilla Marble Espresso & it was def espresso-ing . It gave me that bold, strong kick I needed. I'll 100% order this again when I need to feel alive & awake! We also tried the Banana Matcha since I'd heard good things. This time it wasn't as crowded inside and seats were open. I ordered the Ube matcha coffee for myself ( asked for easy ice , I remember there was too much during my yelp experience). Came in on a Sunday afternoon. Most of the tables were taken and there was a small line, with a brief wait-time for the drinks. Service was friendly, the baristas all seemed to have their systems in place which made everything seem very prompt and efficient. We wound up with two banana drinks, one matcha and one coffee.
