WOW. Incredible coffee spot. It may not look like anything from the outside but love their drinks!! We drove quite a bit out over the weekend to try this spot, was stuck in traffic for almost 2 hrs and it was a hot day. Found street parking luckily, especially since they don't have their own parking lot but the street didn't seem too busy. Took a few minutes to look over the menu and I knew I had to order the Ube Latte. My bf got the Memento Latte. Drinks came out really quick and such beautiful presentation. The memento latte looked a bit light but somehow still very strong! Flavors in both drinks were amazing!! They 100% nailed the ube latte and this was well worth the drive. I hope they open a location in the SFV one day lol. Love this place and hope to visit again soon! IG: @ammysalamii

Came in on a Saturday Morning after walking my dog. Parking is on the street, it's kind of an interesting location like off the side of a road very easy to miss as you turn in! The inside is nice, bright, clean aesthetic. They have a variety of pastries and drinks. We ended up getting the honey latte and matcha latte. Both of the drinks were made quickly despite the rush. I really enjoyed my matcha latte, it was not too sweet and had the perfect umami nutty balance. The honey latte was also great, very smooth. Will def be back to try the other drinks as well!.

Ube latte made with Strauss milk and Ube Halaya from a jar?! Count us in! Their Memento latte and ube latte were both tasty without being too sweet. That is the highest compliment in the Asian community - not too sweet is 100! Loved the simplicity of their decor too. Maximized seating in a pretty small space. The staff are so so so nice too and you can tell they all get along well in a very professional way. Great spot!

Came in today after leaving the dentist since it's down the street. I've heard of this place for awhile and passed by it a few times but haven't had the chance. They have small parking lot and mainly street parking. I like the ambiance inside. Minimal aesthetics. Drinks had good flavor. Hard for me to pass up anything Ube. Truly, enjoy trying places that have Ube inspired drinks. I got Memento Latte for the wifey & I got the Ube. Also, Complimented the barista because I appreciated his hat. "Rich in Life". Small reminder for ourselves and others.

Wanted to update my review. Again the drinks were consistently delicious with some minor issues. Weekday parking is a challenge but worth the effort. The Thai tea sweetness request was adjusted perfectly; the Chai drink flavors were off a bit in ratios; and the earl grey lavender tea with honey was tasty but became somewhat bitter towards the end. Service friendly and ambiance comfortable. Limited seating but doable.

Iced vanilla latte with almond milk

3.5 stars. Nice coffee spot. I had an iced vanilla latte with almond milk, which was pretty good. They make their own vanilla syrup in house. Service is fairly friendly and prompt, and the interior is clean and modern. Quite a lot of people studying or doing work. The old school music playing in the background (Beegees, Abba) was a nice touch. Would come back to try more drinks if I'm nearby. Note that parking is a very small lot consisting of five spots, though with some (potential) adjacent street parking.

Such a beautiful coffee shop with delicious drinks and pastries. There's parking right in front and along the street, easily assemble parking behind also We had the Ube latte and the Matcha latte. Both were very good in flavor. Ube has fresh chunks along the cup and tasted like real Ube versus the artificial flavored very sweet Ube sometimes that shops have. Matcha was nicely earthy and not bitter even with no sweetener. Also tried the guava pastry which had fresh chunks of guava inside and was a beautiful croissant like texture that was perfect. If you are looking for a nice latte or a nicely curated selection of tea this is the spot

I love this type of coffee shop. Small, minimalist, simple menu, few specialties, high quality machinery and ingredients, and great coffee. Of course being our first time here we had to try their Memento iced latte and Ube iced latte. Both did not disappoint. I'd totally come here all the time if I didn't live far away but will definitely be here everyday while I'm visiting to try all their other offerings.

Little to no parking. Space was clean, and baristas were very nice. The signature latte was great but simple I understand why some would be underwhelmed. The matcha was delicious! Not very memorable

    Ube Latte & Memento Latte

Memento takes a very minimalist approach, and it shows in both their space and their coffee. The setup is clean and intentional, with books around to read and a radio and sound system in the corner that really set a laid-back, chill vibe. It's the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the atmosphere, and actually take your time with your drink. I tried the ube latte with oat milk as a first-timer and it was excellent. It's sweet but not overpowering, with the coffee perfectly balanced -- not overly sweet and not bitter. Super smooth and very approachable. I also had the Memento latte, which was just as solid: simple, comforting, and well made. Shoutout to Sergio, who took our order -- super friendly and welcoming and really added to the experience. Service was great overall, the vibes were on point, and the location makes it an easy spot to relax and enjoy quality coffee. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

First time being here as it was suggested by a friend. Ube latte tastes good, you can taste the ube halaya as well as the presence of coffee in the drink. It also looked nice inside to hang out with friends. There were a lot of them behind the counter so service was fast.

Memento coffee. Located on a fairly busy street. Luckily we got parking right in front on the street. I did not like how they have the menu on the counter where you wait in line. One more is needed on a screen or at the register. Got myself a memento latte which has coconut sugar and whipped milk. I had to add some simple syrup that's on the counter. After I did. I really enjoyed this latte. They offer an Uber latte that's super pretty Definitely need to come back to try

    Matcha with Ube Cream
    Tracy V.

I tried the iced matcha with ube cream top and it was so good. It's a popular spot, but there was still plenty of bartop seating available. Parking is street parking right out front. Looking forward to coming back to try the hojicha latte next.

This moment has changed me forever. The King Brulee blended (formerly known as queen Brulee) is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing for my taste buds; a curse for my wallet from now on until I take my final breath on this mortal coil Aside from the best tasting boba tea in the world, the girl at the counter was friendly and answered my questions and even offered if I wanted to custom order something. the place was clean. The drink came out fast. I love when the drink is so fresh that you can feel the warm boba on the bottom. The deco and theme of the place was nice. It felt professional but not too sterile and corporate and empty like some other places can seem.

I was reading reviews beforehand and decided to get the King Brulee since it seemed like one of their popular drinks. Just personally for me, it was a little too sweet and I say that as someone who LOVES sweet drinks and sweet coffee. This one was just overwhelmingly sweet to the point where I couldn't really take another sip without feeling like I was getting a sugar rush lol. The drink itself was good though, don't get me wrong! I'd definitely come back and try it again, but next time I'd probably order it less sweet.

I took 3 sips and tossed it after the matcha made me nauseous, I nearly threw up on my drive home. Fortunately I had a cold water bottle in my car and had to take small sips of water to keep me from pulling over my car and throwing up. It was absolutely disgusting!!! I regret ever walking in and will NEVER go back. The service was also the worst in my experience, with so many great coffee/matcha shops around, please do not waste your time here and do not order a matcha unless you want to waste your time and money. When I first walked in the baristas had no interest in taking my order, both girls were in a heavy conversation about their personal stuff. One was facing me from a distance and the other near the register had her back to me. When they finally took a quick pause she asked for my order and they continued to talk to each other. So then I waited, and waited, and waited for my order. Another customer comes in and I noticed same thing happening, the girls there are much more interested in their conversation than they are working and helping customers. My order took much longer than expected by no surprise to me at this point, but not because it was busy but because the baristas continued to carry on their conversation. Needless to say my drink took much longer than expected since they continued to talk and couldn't care less about the customers. Please be forewarned, this place had zero service and prepared a matcha that made ME SICK! I hate this place!

Let's start with service: the woman at the front was very dry, quiet, and uninterested. We tried asking her if we could add cold foam or sweet cream to our drinks to make them sweeter, and she said it was only available on seasonal drinks. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience, and for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch.
