Despite the long lines, the staff has a solid system with buzzing devices to move swiftly through the line. If you are in a time crunch, order ahead online. It could take 20 minutes for your food. Usually I like to walk around the eclectic antique store across the street until the buzzer goes off. My staple favorites are their breakfast burrito and pastries. This time I tried the crispy potatoes tacos. The crema topping hits the spot. One thing I enjoy about the burritos is the texture of the potatoes. Awesome spot for WiFi and great coffee.... Had to kill some time in Long Beach while my dog got groomed, so I yelped coffee shop options with WiFi and landed here. Came here on early on a Saturday morning for a car meet and tell me why the most memorable thing from the event was the bacon breakfast burrito? We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday morning and to no one's surprise lol, they were busy. Upon entering, I noticed the bright space, the nice decor, and the beautiful plants. Parking is very very small and limited be very lucky to find a spot. Inside is spacious everyone comes to study or catch up. They do offer free wifi as well. They have a decent menu of coffee and matcha and breakfast food. I got a honey matcha id rate 7/10 it was okay and a coffee it forgot what its called but it was good. I'm always late for the party! This place is so close to my car wash I go to weekly and today was the first time I've ever been! Parking is a challenge! Once I found a spot to park I took a short stroll to Good Time and omg it's so cute! The merch was super cute and you can even buy some plants! Good Time is a staple in the neighborhood and has a depth of coffee, food, event selection that you'd be bound to find yourself here more often than not. I'll focus on two things, their breakfast burritos and their coffee because omg, it is delicious. Their burritos are prepared in the moment with potatoes, eggs, bacon, cheese, and all comes together with that sauce (dont forget to ask for it). Yes, you'll likely wait for it but its worth the wait! The coffee is balanced and made by people who love the craft. It shows when it isn't either through coffee that is burnt/not dialed in/etc. You cant go wrong but my favorite is their vanilla latte. Yes, it is a basic option but can easily be messed up. I've written with my friend every Thursday for the past 3 months. She's in downtown Long Beach, and I'm in Lakewood, so we figured we'd alternate where we meet. After three meetings, we no longer meet anywhere else. Good Time is our place. There's indoor AND outdoor seating. When we're more talkative, we'll sit outside. When we're locked in, we'll be inside. There are AMPLE outlets, different sized and different types of tables spread throughout. To be fair, I can't taste the difference between most coffees, but I CAN say it's delicious. It's a tad pricey, but what coffee shop isn't? The employees are also phenomenal; they make you feel like you're home as soon as you walk through the door, genuine and sincere smiles glued to their faces. It also seems like THEY'RE having fun. Sometimes you're at a restaurant or bar or coffee shop, and the employees clearly can't stand each other, and that animosity is palpable. They serve coffee beans from Onyx coffee (specialty coffee from Arkansas). This event last weekend (pictured) was an indie music showcase, with live performances from local artists! They also had the door open to the neighboring business who shares the hallway, a motorcycle-based streetwear clothing brand. Other types of events that I've attended here are trivia and thrift markets, to name a few. Nice cafe with lots of seating. I came to get some work done on a Sunday afternoon and the place was full. Only a couple of tables open. My chai latte with oatmilk was great. They have lots of food items as well. I got the jalapeño cheddar croissant and didn't eat it until I got home. It tasted great even hours later! Parking seems like it would have been more difficult had I not come on a Sunday afternoon. I parked on Redondo actually, near one of the side streets and just walked around the corner. A short walk, which I don't mind. This place is super tucked away. I pass the area often and didn't realize it was here until recently. Glad I did. I will try to make it back. Saw this place featured on an account I follow and decided to add it to my coffee adventurist. We came one Sunday and it was packed. There was no parking. We had to park at Walgreens and hope that we did not get towed. So after our initial visit, we came back the following weekend and I tried their honey basil Matcha. That was sensational. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had; I've lived in SoCal for the majority of my life and had so many great breakfast burritos but Good Times has blown me away. The potatoes are crispy, the eggs are fluffy and buttery, and the accompanying salsa is garlicky and so so good with a slight ketchup flavor. I don't even like ketchup but it complements the burrito well. We also ordered a latte and a mocha latte which were good. No burnt or sour taste but I do wish there was stronger coffee flavor. It's still delicious coffee but if I were to criticize anything, that would be it.
