Start off by saying what a super nice staff very bright and bubbly attitude from our server Cori she knew exactly what to recommend for the best food Great flavor on the cocktails alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Really great level of music playing very upbeat but smooth jazz and old school songs. Fans are running keeping people nice and cool while enjoying their food. Food was great Very crisp tots, the chicken crispy and juicy great spice and a house made hot honey. Pancakes were dressed perfectly and fluffy not too dense great pairing with the butter they use and the berries giving it a fresh flavor. Skillet great combination of ingredients what they call it the Loaded way but it's loaded with just perfection not a single bad bite. Shout out again to Cori!!! and of course the other staff members!

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got around to it. You walk up to the counter to order and then find a seat. I got the chicken and waffles and it was very delicious. Chicken was crispy and it perfectly complimented the waffles. My bf loved his steak and eggs and even ordered pancakes on the side that were so yummy! I feel like it could definitely get busy to a point where it's hard to find seating. Overall I loved this place and would definitely come back!

Zuzu's Petals is a fantastic brunch place. Parking might be difficult since it's only street parking. There was a wait and line out the door to order. They have seating indoors and outdoors. Dutch Baby Pancake comes in a skillet topped with fruit and cream. The pancake itself wasn't dry and cut nicely. Brioche french toast came with a blueberry compote. The french toast is fluffy and goes well with maple syrup. Overall a cute brunch place with multiple tasty options. Love the kid's menu's entree names!

This place has changed my life. .... OK hear me out: The good is amazing (), great customer service, good location, and good ambience. the first time I went I got the chicken gnocchi and to this day I think about that dish. It was a perfect mix of underlying lemon-y flavor, the crunchy god the asparagus and snow peas, ... I could go on forever. I've also gotten the agnolotti and it's heavenly ! You gotta check this place out I promise you won't be disappointed :)

I had such a lovely sunny lunch here at Zuzu's Petals. I ordered the chicken and waffles! The chicken was tender yet crispy and lightly seasoned. This allowed the blueberry compote and cinnamon pecan butter on top of the fluffy and crisp waffle to really shine. Such a yummy balance of the sweet and savory that I was looking for! Washed it all down with their peach & basil agua fresca. Very sweet but very good- I watered it down a bit with some water to my preference and it was perfecto.

Was in the area for work and stopped by with my coworker. This place caught our eye because it looked cute and had patio seating. Really love when you can enjoy food and the great weather at the same time. Service was great, the girl at the register and also the servers were friendly and helpful. Food and drink are priced pretty average. A matcha is $7, food ranges from $12-21. Some dishes are pricier but in this economy it's not crazy. I got a hot matcha and a pancake with a side of scrambled eggs. Hot Matcha (3/5) good matcha quality but too sweet. Pancake w/ berries and cream (4.5/5) nice and fluffy, cream had cinnamon and not too sweet. Eggs (4/5) fluffy and soft

First time visiting and will not be the last! Whenever I am back in the Long Beach area I will come here for breakfast again. It's located on a corner with tons of parking on the streets near by. There was a line out the door, it moved quick though wait wasn't long. You line up and are handed menus, order & pay at counter. Since it was mother's Day weekend, there was tons of roses all over the tables. Their pastries are at the register which looked amazing as well. I came with two of my girlfriends and we all ordered the baileys breakfast with eggs our way. We also were craving something sweet so we ordered a waffle, brioche French toast & the Dutch baby pancake. For drinks we ordered a mimosa, cinnagave shaken espresso, a strawberry matcha, & an elderflower mint spritz. The food and drinks looked & tasted amazing! Staff was very personable and they a have self serve water station. Def one of the best breakfasts ive had in a long time Highly recommend!

Their Curious George (maple banana matcha) was delicious! I don't even love banana matcha like that but I would get it again! The breakfast burrito is a safe option and so is the skillet. I love the outside seating because it feels like a beach town.

Stopped by Zulu's Petals for Mother's Day, and I have to say....it was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. First, a heads-up: parking in the area can be a bit of a challenge, so plan ahead and expect to look for street parking. That said, once you arrive, everything runs impressively smoothly. You'll stand in line to place your order at the register, and then they'll seat you. There are two seating options, an indoor patio and an outdoor patio; both with a really cute, inviting vibe. What really stood out was the thoughtful Mother's Day touch. While we were in line, they offered champagne and gave out roses, white for mothers who are no longer with us and red for those who are. Such a beautiful and meaningful gesture. Once seated, drinks came out quickly, and the food followed shortly after. I was genuinely impressed with how efficient and well-organized everything was, especially given how busy it was. For food, I ordered the Dutch Baby, and my companion had the Bailey's Breakfast, both were delicious and well-prepared. Between the great food, charming decor, and amazing service, this place really delivered. I'll definitely be back.

I had heard about this place from a TikTok video, and my husband had also told me about it, so I knew we had to check it out. We decided to go last minute on a Sunday, so the line was around the building by the time we got there at around 12:30pm. We waited around 30 minutes, but it wasn't bad. I think you order at the counter and then they find you a table. However, for us and the party in front, they sat us and then just took our order at the table. My husband ordered steak & eggs and we shared lemon ricotta pancakes (because, of course, we needed something sweet). I got the Bailey's, which you can have bacon or sausage, or one of each. Everything was delicious! We finished our dishes and brought the pancake home, which we for sure would have finished if we weren't so full! We both ordered the Curious George, except mine was decaf. So good! I definitely want to try the matcha version next time. It's such a cute little restaurant and staff is super friendly. I didn't get a good look with the street signs, but we were lucky to find a spot right across from the restaurant. Absolutely enjoyed this place and would go back!

Happy May y'all! While in Long Beach, I saw this place had killer reviews so I got a few dishes to go and was so happy with my choices. FOOD -Dutch baby pancake. It was delicious and the add-on items were perfect. Highly recommend! -Veggie wrap. Also very good, the sauce was delicious. The veggies had a perfect crunch DRINK -I got their matcha latte with almond milk. it was good and exactly as I expected. PARKING There's construction happening on one road so I parked on the busy road temporarily. Leave yourself time to find parking if that side road is still unavailable. CLEANLINESS Walking into the check out area and it was clean, modern and beautifully decorated.

We got the steak, eggs scrambled with cheese and potatoes and although sounding quite simple and straight forward every component of this dish was a MASTERCLASS in culinary EXCELLENCE. Even down to the course possibly Maldon salt they sprinkled on the potatoes was CHEFS KISS! The pancakes and bacon that I sampled were spectacular as well. One other drawback was the $9 side of bacon which came in 3 mini pieces or thirds of maybe one long strip. It's not like we got three long or decent strips of bacon but three little 2 inch long pieces for $9 which gave us NO bang for our buck but it still tasted good. OVERALL we were so impressed by this breakfast that we came back the next day to sample some more but this is where things kinda went SOUTH! The misses ordered Chicken and Waffles and I wanted to steer clear of that because that a dish you can get anywhere. What intrigued me was the BREAKFAST BURRITO because LA folks are ALWAYS ranting and raving about breakfast burrito so I wanted to give it a try. I read the description and saw they used tater tots inside. Now if they were HOUSEMADE tots then sure put it in my burrito but if they were from Krogers, Ralphs, Save A Lot or Aldis then it would be a HARD PASS. I decided to try to reinvent the wheel and asked if I could have the potatoes we adored from their steak and eggs dish from our fist visit into the burrito and they said yes and this is where things went awry. Upon first observation the burrito looked great but upon biting into it there was BARELY, any eggs, meat, or cheese, all I could taste was POTATOES and TORTILLA. This was the most potato forward carb loaded burrito I ever had in my life to the point it was overwhelming and I decided to pick through it and leave all those potatoes and tortilla behind. I believe, but could be wrong but the potatoes from the awesome steak and eggs dish may have been PAR BOILED, smashed, fried, then sprinkled with salt which makes them awesome. In my burrito tho, it tasted like they just boiled them and threw them in the burrito without taking the further steps to make em more tastier before wrapping the burrito. My wife suggested I should've just ordered the burrito AS IS with the tots and it probably would've been awesome. My request for the steak and eggs version of potatoes in my burrito probably did make the burrito worse and I don't blame the cooks, chef, or the restaurant but it was more of MY BAD. I sampled the misses Chicken and Waffles and just like the steak and eggs and pancakes and bacon we had the day prior the dish was SUPERB as well! Overall this spot wound up being one of our TOP MEALS we partook in during our vacation and HIGHLY RECOMMEND this spot. Maybe your burrito will be better than the one I had

Got the vegetable burrito to go with a side of smashed potatoes. The food was ready within 15 min. There's no specific pick up place, but i went to the front and asked a server and they were able to bring out my food right away. The smashed potatoes were okay, very garlicky but nothing special. I would go back just for the vegetable burrito though. Packed with different veggies and so flavorful. The sauce was also yummy.

Yes they have covered and uncovered outdoor seating. I don’t know if they have heaters. The day we were there it was about 65 degrees and I didn’t see any heaters. Uncovered outdoor had about 4-5 tables equaling seats for about 15 people. Covered…

The shop was so cute, it's small but with everything you'd need for a cheese and meat party including breads, canned additions/fish, and wines! I grabbed a fresh loaf of baguette to add to the order. Both trays were ready and absolutely fresh. The honorable cheesemongers overlooking shop were very nice and helpful! One female worker was providing samples for a gentleman when he asked for recommendations and my cheesemonger asked what kind of cheese texture I generally liked and offered to give me a cheese from three different animals, which I thought was absolutely awesome! She even offered to help me carry my trays out. The veggie tray was awesome, a great size, half pickled half not pickled, the dips were both amazing! We got the green goddess and Calabrian chili aioli and both were such a hit at our get together. The peppers are slightly spicy and were so delicious. We loved the variety of cheese and did not have a single cheese we didn't like. The petite toasts with the meat and cheese board is a must! So good and crispy and a perfect size for a bite. The trays were really sturdy and we appreciated the care put into the layout. We'll definitely be back Oh La Vache!

Firstly, since it's all plant-based, I was able to eat literally anything off the menu, which is always delightful. Started the meal with a Tricolore Salad and the Pizza Montanara for appetizers. The Salad was good, best when you can get a bit of every ingredient in each bite. The Pizza Montanara was hotter than magma when we received it, but once it cooled and we were able to tear it into pieces, it was very, very good. These two items themselves would be a great light meal. We had glasses of red wine with the main course, which paired well with the pastas we chose. One Vesuvio, which was really tasty with a little chili heat (not so much so that it made eating it a rough job,) and another pasta dish that I can't recall the name of that was very lemony and cooling. We both shared these dishes and the alternating between the two very different flavor profiles was really fun. The online menu doesn't have these pastas listed in the "Dinner" section, but the in-store menu did. The only thing that was kind of a bummer was that they were out of things like meatballs, olives, and a couple other items, but we were still able to choose dishes that were delicious. The restaurant's vibe is very laidback and like, elevated casual, if that makes sense. The bathroom had a bidet, which was my first experience with the same, and it was cool and fun. Thorough! I laughed at the sticker on the bidet saying it WILL spray you in the face. All in all, this was a fantastic experience. Definitely be patient with finding parking, as we all know how 4th Street is. This will likely become a favorite celebration meal destination.

It's been a while since I found a New American restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed everything I…read moreordered. Saint & Second just hits the spot for me! For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

He immediately complied and proceeded to then antagonize him by telling him people eat there. He said yes I understand and got off. She proceeded to turn back MULTIPLE times to keep going. She then said you and your party can get out or I can call the cops. When I asked the clear manager in his outfit, requesting who the fake GM was, he along with the Bartender on shift played stupid as to supply her name. Margarita clearly was not a GM but felt that she needed to keep creating an unnecessary situation. The situation was already de escalated when he complied with what she asked. Do better with your staffing saint and second.
