Great breakfast at COPA! Lots of great options. Highly recommend their breakfast burritos! This time I ordered Toast and Eggs, another favorite at XOPA. Nothing beats their sourdough toast, the BEST! They also sell their inhouse sourdough boules! I love poached Eggs and they do them right nice and runny with a splash if seasoning on top! Service is always friendly. Their is a line but it moves quickly. Most are ordering to grab and go. I usually do that especially for lunch (most amazing BLT on Sourdough) but this time I dined in along with most of the patrons. We ended up having to wait for an additional 30 mins past that quoted time making our total wait time almost an hour. They should improve on their timing. The burrito had a sunny side up style egg, tator tots, and avocado. We added bacon for an additional charge. It came with a side of salsa which was too citrusy for our taste. 3.5 stars I came on a Saturday and it was cracking. I like that they have an expansive food menu - there's tons to choose from. It's a nice place to grab a coffee and some food without the fuss of having to wait for a table. I ordered the matcha latte ($6.00) + a shot (+$2.00). The added shot really messed the flavor of the matcha. I shall never do that again. It also made my drink exponentially more expensive. We shared an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich ($10) and added bacon (+$4.00). The sandwich comes with eggs, cheddar cheese and mayo on a brioche bun. This was good! Though, I'd probably not add the bacon next time because the sandwich could stand alone. For 2 drinks and a shareable sandwich, we spent a cool $30 which is kinda a lot. For food, they have burritos (12 inch tortilla contains dairy), tacos, bowls, toasts, and sandos. *** OG Burrito (2 thick cut pieces of Nueske's smoked bacon, 2 organic eggs, wagyu tallow fried tots, cheddar, smokey bacon jam, avocado, side salsa - $19): Salsa tasted more on a vinegary side & made the whole salsa tasted somewhat overpowering. Burrito itself was solid, but the portion was relatively small comparing with other $20-ish breakfast burrito. Good flaky tortilla, but it felt like I spent close to $20 on a $15 breakfast burrito. I had just landed at the Long Beach Airport and did a quick search of coffee shops in the area. Coffee Parlor came up, and it was a 5 minute drive from the rental car lot. I found the cute storefront in a tiny strip mall where parking was limited. I was lucky enough to snag a spot. Customer service was great. The employee at the register was very friendly. He also convinced me on trying one of their pastry items even though I had confidently got in line thinking I would get away with my cappuccino. But nope! He sold me on how they bake their goods in-house. I got a cappuccino with almond milk. Totally solid drink and was everything I wanted from the 8oz. Bold tasting coffee smoothened out with the milk. I ordered their banana walnut chocolate chip muffin, which was delicious. Loved the soft, doughy crumb, and I appreciated that it did taste like it was homemade. They use perfectly scrambled eggs, high quality pork, tater tots fried in wagyu tallow, and bacon jam, that's wrapped up in a delicious tortilla. If you want a high-quality breakfast burrito, then high quality ingredients are a great start. Their smoky salsa brings the flavors over the top. While some may blink at the cost of the burrito, I firmly believe the cost is justified with the ingredients they use and the flavors that are put out. I encourage you to try it for yourself, particularly if you appreciate quality and if you're looking for the best. Their coffee is also pretty solid and quality. Came here after driving by Cafe The Scoop and the line was out of the door. Had to have a matcha though and I was in a hurry so I looked up nearby places and stumbled upon Coffee Parlor. Definitely not the place for a matcha. I have never tried the coffee so I can't speak on that. The matcha was super watered down as well as their "foam" which immediately blended into my drink because it was so water. Coffee Parlor is the place that introduced me to orange juice with a shot of espresso (Spro-J) and there's no turning back for me. One of my favorite unexpected "it shouldn't be good" but I absolutely love combos. It's been years and I am so thankful to come across it on a random morning coffee run. CoPa has evolved quite a lot and now has a lot of seating inside for patrons to chat, work, or simply eat. Inviting, bright, vibes. Service is friendly and quick. It can get busy on the weekends! Coffee here is great, love their seasonal and the staples. Definitely recommend for a neighborhood caffeine fix. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the pricing - $18.5 for their main burrito is quite a lot (+ extra for salsa!) and although it was really good (highly recommend trying it if you can!) the lack of consistency is what makes me hesitate to get it often. Sometimes it's large enough to feed two people and sometimes it's so sad and skinny. Ingredients are all there (love the crispy tater tots!), I think it just depends on who's cooking it up in the back. Also noticed the orange juice in the Spro-J has changed, not sure what it is but it seems less fresh and definitely more comes out of a jug - we used to have to grab the fresh OJ from the front fridge to bring it back but alas no longer? Found this spot when i was searching up breakfast burritos on Yelp! I called in to order ahead and got a vanilla latte and the veggie breakfast burrito. First i love that they have veggie/vegan options. The latte was great - perfect sweetness just how i like it. The burrito was super filling. I liked that it had some veggies in it too. I couldn't always taste the soy chorizo but i saw it was in there. Overall really liked it! The cafe is in a small strip mall and there may be limited parking but there's also street parking. The cafe was pretty busy when I came in which was a Wednesday mid morning so it seems like a spot people come to work for a few hours or maybe meet friends or coworkers. Honestly- this is a tough review. COPA has my most favorite breakfast burrito in the city - the OG. The tortilla, the flavors, the salsa - it is all excellent. But at the end of the day it's egg, bacon, tots, and salsa. There is nothing exorbitant or ground breaking or expensive in those ingredients. And I would probably get at least 52 a year because they are just that good if they didn't charge $20 for it - but I just can't justify it. Oh and if you decide to share it with your partner they charge an 1.50 for an extra salsa on top of the $20 burrito. Every time I go there I just feel a little ripped off. I do go - because it is so damn good. But $30 per person for a breakfast burrito and coffee just leaves an icky taste in my wallet. It is there business and I am sure they know more than me about pricing and food costs - but I can tell you I can't imagine me being alone if this this was $14 as a local I would get one once a week. A $20 burrito should be the weight of a small infant. It's not big enough or fancy enough for what they charge - even if it is that good. It was $13 like 3 years ago - check the yelp photos. Price hasn't matched inflation. If you want a $15 burrito that is big enough for Breakfast and Lunch - check out LJs Lil Cafe in cypress. It's epic and you never feel like you overpaid and you are always full. read more

Whoever thought it was good idea to call this burger Smash burger needs to go out and try smash burgers from different restaurants. Whoever made this burger deserves to be smashed. The burger wasn't smashed flat as you would expect from other smash burger places. There was absolutely no Maillard reaction and the meat just looked steamed and blend. Also the patty was dry and flavorless. Maybe increase the fat percentage? Anyways, the bun was also bit dry. And wayyyyyy too much pickles. However, the coffee here is top notch. Super fragrant and the lattes are made with properly steamed micro foamed milk. The burritos are also excellent though pricey. We just wanted drinks to go so we mobile ordered, which I highly recommend!! Everyone in line looked like they were dining in though, and its a pretty small shop.
