We just wanted drinks to go so we mobile ordered, which I highly recommend!! Everyone in line looked like they were dining in though, and its a pretty small shop. The staff was working hard and very nice to all the customers. We got 2 vanilla iced matchas with oat and macadamia milk. The matcha is such good quality and not too sweet. We stopped here before dropping H+M at the Long Beach Airport for their flight home. This little coffee shop is in a little plaza that has a Mexican food restaurant, bakery, and Chinese food restaurant. Parking is limited, maybe around 20 spaces. The shop was bustling and had a line out the door at 9:30 am on a Sunday. There were small tables inside and a few outside. The employees were friendly and very efficient and knowledgeable. Ww thought we'd have to wait as long as we waited in line (almost 15 minutes) for our drinks but they were putting them out quick! We had our drinks in less than 10 minutes. Little O tried their iced strawberry matcha. It tasted great and the flavors went well together. Hubby and I each got our own hot latte. I added mocha syrup which made it delicious without being too sweet! No extra sweetener needed. H & M got a cold brew and the coffee was very tasty. I tried the avocado toast, the birria bowl, and the BLT (add egg!) and they were all fantastic with the BLT being my favorite. It's a regular weekend spot for our family. Have not had anything from the menu we did not enjoy (although I favor the breakfast burritos). The syrups are all made in house - you cannot go wrong with the Iced Caramel Latte however the Iced Honey Bear w/macadamia milk is delicious as well. Oh, and the matcha!! So I walked in and started looking at the menu however I did not get greeted upon walking in The door there was no customers in line or sitting down actually . I only send a menu for breakfast and then when I got to the register to order I noticed it was a lunch menu so I ordered avocado toast with no tomato and a lavender lemonade Sprite and I have to say the avocado toast with extra chimichurri sauce is a must 9 out of 10. Copa is our family destination for Sunday morning breakfast, my everyday stop to grab my coffee on my way to work. Their customer service, the quality of food they are serving is exceptional. My favorite items from their menu are breakfast burritos, French toast, breakfast tacos and I love to order their burgers for lunch. Lord... this place is so good but WHY is the music as loud as a club. That's literally the only reason I subtract a star. Listening to crap pop music turned up to 11 while trying to write or talk is just a downer. Even with noise canceling AirPods it's like HOPE YOU LIKE COLDPLAY BABY UNCE UNCE UNCE. I had a good time the first time I came months ago, when it was more empty. Coffee quality was great and barista was friendly. I came here yesterday morning and it was quite busy which definitely compromised the customer service and the quality of coffee. I had a weird encounter with the barista which is why I'm posting this review. I ordered a bowl and a hot specialty latte with oat milk for here. The latte was $9 and the bowl was $17, and with the lowest tip option being 18% I paid $30 for a mediocre experience. I just think the coffee price was outrageous. The food was actually awesome and the guys in the back work hard. I ordered the food for here and spelled my name out. I was told that they would drop off my coffee and food at my table so I waited. Then I kept hearing the name Sara being yelled out and was like hmm, sometimes people misspell my name so I go up and ask the barista who has no smile no positive energy if that's my drink and she goes "Are you Sara?" in a condescending way. Girl no, I'm not Sara but people often misspell my name. Also it was in a to-go cup so I was like okay, probably not my drink. Then I walk away and the other girl working is like oh that is your drink lol. That's fine but 1) you made me feel stupid and 2) I asked for a for here cup so at least communicate why I didn't get that and maybe apologize? I got the lavender blueberry latte half sweet because the girl at the register said it was pretty sweet. Then I tried my drink and it literally just tasted like an oat latte, no flavor. The milk was also improperly steamed which is a basic requirement if you're paying close to $10 for coffee. I went up to the barista and said I couldn't really taste the flavor and she rudely went to the order list, said "yeah I put lavender and blueberry in there." Then, after a moment she said "I could remake that for you but you got it half sweet which is why you can't really taste it." Like bro, your COWORKER told me it was too sweet. It was just insane amounts of attitude, no I'm sorry or I hope you like it, and no kindness at all. I left the shop feeling insanely uncomfortable and judged for asking for a drink I would like. A but on the pricier side I would say, about $4.5 for a plain cappuccino but tasty nonetheless. I don't like my coffee super strong, but I would at least expect it to be present, which it was not in this drink. It wasn't sweet whatsoever and you would think that a caramel latte would be sweet. It was not. Parking wasn't my favorite, either. Limited parking spaces due to a portion of the parking lot being turned into an outdoor area where you can eat, sit, relax, converse, etc. If you can find a parking spot (which we did) they are tight squeezes. I haven't been here in awhile, but I have a lot of love for this place. I met the owner when it was still a new business. I see a lot of hate on the price of the menu. Good things are unfortunately expensive and I can guarantee the profit margin isn't as high as you would think. Dude just wants things to be done right. I'm a coffee nerd and he taught me a bunch of stuff that hadn't even occurred to me and I use those tips and tricks to this day. I'll always recommend this place, I know they give a sh*t. I'm glad y'all are still there. Too many spots get bought out by the same chains that can afford to "walmart" the price.
