I haven't been here in awhile, but I have a lot of love for this place. I met the owner when it was still a new business. I see a lot of hate on the price of the menu. Good things are unfortunately expensive and I can guarantee the profit margin isn't as high as you would think. Dude just wants things to be done right. I'm a coffee nerd and he taught me a bunch of stuff that hadn't even occurred to me and I use those tips and tricks to this day. I'll always recommend this place, I know they give a sh*t. I'm glad y'all are still there. Too many spots get bought out by the same chains that can afford to "walmart" the price. Next time I'm down that way I'll gladly pay for some good food and good coffee and I look forward to it. read more

Visited on Friday morning 4/1/22 I've passed this coffee shop a few times and finally decided to check it out after a Friday morning workout. I was in need of coffee and real food after only drinking a protein shake that morning. I wanted something different than Starbucks on this particular morning and some good food intake while my metabolism was running on high. It truly did not disappoint! Amber at the register was very friendly and assisted me in making my choices. When she told me that the eggs in the burrito automatically came over-easy I swooned I've experienced runny yolk in a breakfast sandwich, sure (think of a certain "Slut" ) and in eggs Benedict. But never heard of runny yolk in a burrito. It was heavenly! I did opt for over-medium eggs, however, because I prefer my yolk to be more of a gravy consistency. They were perfectly cooked! The salsa it came with was also delicious. I took off one star only because I was expecting the potatoes to be more like seasoned hashbrowns or home-style potatoes and this was more like McDonald's hashbrowns or tater-tots (which I love, don't get me wrong). They certainly worked well in the burrito. My rating is more a 4.5. Great taste, good value and exceptional service. I'll be back again to try a non-burrito item to then raise my rating to a full 5 stars. read more

I love visiting this place on weekend mornings when I roll out of bed and want some good coffee and breakfast. Sure, the price can be a bit higher than other small businesses, but their food and coffee make me come back again and again. The little strip mall converted the front parking area to be outdoor seating area, so there is always plenty of space to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. It's dog and kid friendly, and there's farmer's market across the street for a quick browse and shop afterwards. I tend to lean toward savory breakfast, so I always get either the avocado toast or the breakfast burrito. No matter which one you choose, you won't fail. Coffee is strong and bold, and I like to drink it just black here. They also have alternative milk options as well, which I always appreciate. read more

Usually get their OG Breakfast burritos (which are great) but this weekend we tried the Birria tacos and the Chilaquiles. Both were fantastic. Will have them add the Birria meat to the Chilaquiles next time to beef it up, but it was delicious and the portion is generous. read more

Copa is one of my favorite coffee shops in LB. The coffee is strong and perfect for your early or mid morning fix. The food is also really freaking good. Everything we've tried has been outstanding. And call me basic but it's very hard to resist this avocado toast offering. The sourdough bread is amazing and there's something about the edible flowers/radish things that I love. I also love all the seating outside which is a rarity for a lot of smaller coffee shops. It shares the outdoor space with the other shops and restaurants on this strip but usually in the morning it's not too busy that there is always something available. read more

Came here to get work done before my Pilates class and it was quite busy. The set up is unusual but I understand with the small space. It was hard to choose my seating but it ended up working out! The barista was friendly and welcoming ! I definitely think the dirty chai can have a little more umphhh, because I am used to more chai , but it'll do. The price for it was about ~ $8.00. I would come back again because the crowd did die down around 1pm. But overall a great experience read more

I visited Coffee Parlor for the first time today after having a friend recommend it. The barista, Haylie, was very kind and helpful in recommending drinks! They had quite a few drinks I had never heard of. I tried a honey bear latte, Haylie's favorite, and it was sooo good!! I often make this one at home so I had high expectations and they exceeded them! I accidentally forgot to mention I wanted my drink to go so when they handed me a glass, she was quick to fix my mistake. It was my first time at this location because I wanted to try a different coffee spot and breakfast. I ordered the bacon and egg burrito and it was very delicious and it was a very huge burrito. Definitely perfect for breakfast. We also ordered two different coffees, we ordered a salted caramel coffee and a vanilla coffee. They were both very delicious and totally recommend it This place is really nice and the ambience is really relaxing. Coffee here is good, very clean space, service is good, there's always a line to the door, food is overpriced & definitely underwhelming. Breakfast burrito & breakfast sandwich alone will cost you about $40. I didn't wait long for my breakfast to be prepared but I personally cannot justify the price point however, I understand that maybe the ingredients are "quality" but there was nothing outstanding or memorable about my $40 breakfast, the salsa was very mediocre. I feel the need to update the review since pretty much all the stuff I enjoyed are gone. Their Egg McMuffin is off the menu, so are the delicious donuts. They replaced the bakery for more seating. Gusto pastries are now being sold but I haven't been able to sample them yet because they hadn't been delivered by the time I came in. The drinks are more on the sweet side which is fine if you prefer that. Extra $1 charge for alt milks and flavor shots. PARKING: parking is back so you no longer have to park on the street. read more

I really wanted to like this place given the amazing reviews but, as you can see from the rating, I couldn't get there, I couldn't even get close. I ordered the Holy Trinity and an OG burrito. First, the good: The service was friendly and fast. I was there on a Sunday and there were plenty of people but there was still space and everything came out pretty quick. The not so good: This is largely a matter of taste and the OG burrito was not one I liked. It had a very sweet flavor I couldn't really identify but it was very dominant. Also, I like my burrito eggs fluffy and these looked more like soft whites. I did like the grill texture though so, while I wouldn't order it again, I could live with it. The very not so good: This one is partially on me. I read so much about their coffee I wanted to see what they could do so ordered the Trinity (3 coffees) even though I knew two of the methods (cold brew and drip) are not always a great platform to show off the coffee or the barista but I figured what the heck. The service was nice overall. Except there was no spoon for the espresso (yes, you need to stir in the crema). And there the good came to an end. The espresso was shudderingly sour. I don't know if the barista hadn't bothered to dial it in or wasn't paying attention but it was BAD. Shockingly bad. Why-would-anyone-drink-this bad. So shockingly sour even the sparking water couldn't erase the taste. (I am curious if they check their EY or rely on timing but the store was way too busy for me to be "that guy" and ask them to drop everything) The drip coffee was fine - it was a drip so solidly unremarkable. The cold brew was smooth and over ice so a welcome refreshing that was also able to partially get rid of the espresso damage. I am sure if you were ordering a milk drink, you would be fine. I love the story of COPA but the food wasn't enough to make me want to go back and the espresso was enough to make me with I had ordered a soft drink instead. Overall, just not worth it to me. Judging by the other comments, I am comfy saying most people are happy with their coffee orders and I wouldn't resist coming back but prob won't trust them with an espresso shot. read more

Maybe they are more known for food and bakery, but coffee is just insanely expensive. It costs nearly $7 for a 16oz cup of mediocre iced latte. Also, they intentionally hide all of the prices from their menu, so people can order without knowing the prices in advance. I am probably the same one who wanted a quick grab of coffee and had to come all the way and felt like just buying one time. Definitely not recommending if you want a good coffee with a reasonable price - there are more places you could go around this area for sure. I stayed for a few hours and worked there. Staff was amazing, very friendly and would bring your order to you. Something to keep in mind if you're planning to work/study here, the wifi does not reach to the outside patio. The inside is quite loud with the music and machines. I had a meeting so I just used my hotspot outside. Does not have a large pastry selection. Only had two pastries, but seemed very tasty. I had the chai tea latte w oat milk and chocolate cookie. The chai was very spicy and more of an authentic chai tea. I personally like mine more on the less spicy side so I didn't enjoy it but I think maybe that's because Im not used to the strong spices. I asked for sweetener and that helped a little but I still couldn't drink it. The chocolate cookie was very good! Very evenly spread chocolate and nice balance of soft and crispy (more on the crispy side). read more

Usually i don't like to complain about the price but this place is SO EXPENSIVE and I wouldn't mind if it was good, but the food was so ehh. 3 items total ~ $50. FOR BREAKFAST. Avocado toast Burrito Matcha latte I can't believe each food items were close to $20. It blows my mind how expensive that was. The avocado toast was average. The egg was so runny that my bread became so soggy. Got my mom the breakfast burrito and it was SO SOGGY and with no taste to it. We had to drench it in ketchup and still couldn't even finish it. Also, I didn't know it was that expensive, since I checked the menu 3 months ago on Yelp & each items was around $13 (decent pricing). When i got there no price was shown on the menu. Just had a 2oz macchiato today but it was perfect. There were several people dining both inside and out. I'm excited to go back and try their food. The service was impeccable! I was greeted by one of the employees before i even stepped foot in the cafe. When i ordered my coffee i was also offered a cup of sparkling water to go with my coffee. Honestly may be the best service I've ever had a coffee shop most baristas/ coffee shop employees have an attitude lol. But will def be back to try food. If white is right, this place can't go wrong! Now let's be honest... $20 for a burrito is DIABOLICAL. The burritos taste great, but I can't justify the price even if high-quality ingredients are being used. Want to know what else is diabolical? Ordering a side of their salsa on 5+ occasions and having to tell them I ordered an extra salsa because it wasn't included in my to-go bag. The attention to detail, or lack thereof, is not on par with how much you're being charged. Also, you get a shot-sized amount when you order the cortado or the macchiato. I can only speak about the breakfast burrito my husband brought me home this morning, but my goodness it was DELICIOUS! It was hella expensive but I will for sure get it again. The egg is fried and no scrambled and the tater tots are crisped to perfection. It's not dry like most breakfast burritos because of the cook on the egg, the avocado and this bacon jam they add to it. A well thought out and executed breakfast burrito on the perfect thin, crisped up tortilla. One of or maybe the best I've ever had. And the salsa is on point! read more
