I recently visited California for a few days, and my partner quickly became obsessed with this place. He went almost everyday we were in Long Beach. The coffee is really good with fun special lattes. But also, the breakfast sandwiches and burritos were easily a 10/10. The cafe itself is a good environment to relax in and sit with a laptop or just a friend to chat. Saw this place featured on an account I follow and decided to add it to my coffee adventurist. We came one Sunday and it was packed. There was no parking. We had to park at Walgreens and hope that we did not get towed. The line was pretty long, but luckily they had menus available so that we could decide on our order by the time we got up to the counter. I had the strawberry mint Matcha, which was amazing. The strawberry was not overpowering, just enough to give them Matcha a little bit of sweetness. My bf had the Samoa cookie latte which was equally delicious. It was not on their menu. It is something we saw on their Instagram and I am so glad we checked out their IG before coming and saw this special latte. So after our initial visit, we came back the following weekend and I tried their honey basil Matcha. That was sensational. I actually ended up liking it better than the strawberry mint, but either one of them is going to leave you satisfied. The place inside is super cozy. They even have a plant store in the corner so that you can buy a plant as well as different types of merch. There are a lot of tables and a free library in the back. But again it was really packed and I didn't see any tables become available in the whole time we were there. There are tables outside as well. Arrived in the morning and finding parking was a little difficult not gonna lie. Walked in and they have the menu right in front which was nice! Service wasn't the best. They didn't great us. My cappuccino was okay not the best. The burrito was really great! I enjoyed it and pricing for the burrito was on the cheaper side! i recently attended a thrift pop-up hosted by one of the clubs from CSULB, and it was such a cute spot, especially with its lively community and great atmosphere. everyone is super friendly. we ordered two s'mores lattes and a matcha tonic. my friends really enjoyed their drinks; both commented on the nice balance of espresso and sweetness. last time i tried the matcha, i wasn't the biggest fan, but this time it had a richer flavor and more depth. not pictured, we also had the "good time" burrito, and it definitely lives up to the hype. it was thick and hearty without being too heavy. i highly recommend this spot in long beach! read more

I've been here several times without issue. Staff was always organized. However this time I've been waiting 35 minutes for one breakfast burrito. The kitchen has a lot of staff but it seemed hectic. They gave us a buzzer which never went off. We had to go up to the counter to find out our food was ready. Although the burrito was good it was a long time to wait. And I say good not amazing. I went on a Sunday so they were definitely packed! I got an iced vanilla latte and their breakfast sandwich. Coffee is really good, I love whatever espresso beans they use! The sandwich was also very good although the bun was a little thick and they really packed on the avocado. While I do love avocado, the thick bun and extra avo made it a little hard to eat. I do however, love that I was able to change the way they make their eggs for the sandwich, I can't do runny eggs so they made it scrambled for me! Thank you so much for offering gluten free breakfast burritos!!!!!!!!!! For the first time in 5 years after being diagnosed with a gluten intolerance, I can finally have my favorite breakfast. This burrito isn't just any burrito, it is absolutely amazing! Especially with Soyrizo and avocado. Their coffee is amazing. Their hibiscus and green tea are both super refreshing and definitely taste high quality. The vibe is perfect to get your day going and also to feel excited to be apart of such an amazing Long Beach community. I love the minimalist environment without the corporate feel. One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had; I've lived in SoCal for the majority of my life and had so many great breakfast burritos but Good Times has blown me away. The potatoes are crispy, the eggs are fluffy and buttery, and the accompanying salsa is garlicky and so so good with a slight ketchup flavor. I don't even like ketchup but it complements the burrito well. We also ordered a latte and a mocha latte which were good. No burnt or sour taste but I do wish there was stronger coffee flavor. It's still delicious coffee but if I were to criticize anything, that would be it. There's ample seating, the staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is great for work and study as most of the patrons were on their laptops working-there are convenient outlets by each table. I can't believe I haven't review this cafe already. I'm constantly posting on instagram raving about it. I'm a huge matcha lover, and this is a top matcha spot for me. I also enjoy their breakfasts burrito with bacon, and when hamburger nice is there on Thursday mornings, I'll get their croissant breakfasts sand which. It can get a bit busy but the vibe is worth the wait when it does. Amazing customer service and dog friendly! This was one of my first spots in Long Beach that I visited. I got a cold brew with sugar-free vanilla syrup. I thought the cold brew itself had a nice flavor and that the vanilla enhanced it nicely. I wouldn't say that it was something that blew my socks off, but I still enjoyed. My friend got an iced latte with whole milk. He seemed to enjoy it. The shop's ambience was very upbeat and lively. I went here twice in one weekend... No judgment! I truly enjoyed the coffee here. It wasn't too bitter, but it was very strong. I tried a specialty latte the first time which had pumpkin and brown sugar I believe. And then the second time I did latte with hazelnut and vanilla. All were very good and well balanced. Both times I went I received good customer service. And for that, I am thankful. They are quite a busy coffee shop as they have a lot to offer from food, pastries, coffee, and even beer with coffee... That was different! Good Time is a cute coffee shop in Long Beach. The place is decorated with cute fonts, lots of plants and hipstery vibes. There are plenty of seats inside and outside if you'd like to work here. The staff was friendly. Parking is free and available on the street in front or in the lot in the back. I would say the matcha was not very good. It tasted like I was just drinking a large glass of sweet milk. It definitely needed more matcha. They have regular matcha (hot or iced) only. They used to have blueberry or strawberry matcha but that is only seasonal. I would come back again to try their coffee, but definitely not getting the $8 matcha again. I can't recall exactly what the drink is called, but it's some sort of honey cold foam matcha! I got it with oat milk. Very tasty. Perfect level of sweetness & ice (already came that way, no special request!). They sell really cool merch, plants, planners, notebooks, candles, & much more! The vibe & aesthetic of the cafe is very calming. The music they play is relaxing (jazz perhaps?). In case anyone is wondering/concerned, this is a safe space for POC & LGBT folks! The branding for good time is so... good :). I only wish the actual matcha itself was lightly sweetened. My friend got the Samoa latte but they ran out of coconut syrup so it was missing an element to make it something special. Interesting on all levels. Interesting location off Anaheim and Coronado, not on busy Anaheim but on Coronado, there's street parking and they have shared parking lot . There's outdoor seating too Interesting interior. Walking inside there are plants everywhere. Plants on shelves, plants from hanging from the ceiling, plants on the wall, and plants around the counter. There are these white globes hanging from the ceiling for lights. They sell merchandise like branded tshirts and cups. There's plenty of seating inside. There's a television playing anime and a big Good Times sign on a wall. The music is your standard GenX hip hop to stay cool, hip and relevant mixed with some other modern songs. Interesting drinks. We ordered a hot champurado cafe latte and a iced salted maple cafe latte. All of them were very delicious, unique and interesting. My only complaint was the temperature of the champurado. Not as hot as it should be so that's one star subtracted. Disappointed but it was really good nevertheless. Interesting menu. So I came on a Friday and there are burgers on the menu on Fridays. Beer is also served here which makes for an interesting and eclectic menu. I will be back to try beer and burger Friday and just chill to the next episode.
