BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY 1 cent for any Winery Direct wine up to $15 Not being a wino, I had to ask a staff member their recommendations for a Winery Direct dry/semi-sweet red wine $15 or under. He suggested Carmen Reserva Frida Kahlo Cabernet Sauvignon Chile 2023 & Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024. The cabernet had a 91 rating from the Tasting Panel, but the malbec didn't have a rating, as it was a new item. Seeing how it's made with organic grapes, and malbecs are usually good bottles of wine, I chose the Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024. Organic Arbol De Vida Malbec Argentina 2024- Lovely bottle of wine. Each sip had berries & plum, plus the pucker from expressive tannins. I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I found this particular malbec approachable and non-offensive. However, I'd choose a bottle of bourbon or sake, any day of the week. 1 cent for a bottle of wine? That's cheaper than Boone's Farm! Total Wine wanted to get me nice & toasty on the cheap for my birthday, treating me like a cheap date. And, my response to that - you woulda had me in the sack in no time ;p One of the best of my birthday promos, I look forward to next year to see which new wine strikes my fancy. read more

Total Wine and more is a great place to buy all of your alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. They also have a few snacks to offer as well as a cigar selection. Here you can find hard to find liquors and other libations prices are very reasonable and the service is fantastic. I prefer coming here then to go to BevMo since the selection is much wider. read more

Went in on Saturday, 02-28-26, for some champagne and a new red wine when I bumped into Alissa. Alissa was a vendor who was handing out wine samples. Not only did I enjoy sampling 6 different wines but I also enjoyed learning about the different processes of how they were made. And found myself purchasing a bottle of the last one I tasted. Which was a nice red wine. Now yesterday, 03-01-26, I went back for their "In-Store Sip & Explore" event. Had the pleasure of tasting at least 4 different wines at each station. There were 3 total. Both gentlemen were welcoming, professional, courteous and respectful. It was very intriguing learning about each wine. It was like receiving a one-on-one at a wine tasting event just without the charcuterie board lol. It was fun though and I bought a bottle of Vostra Prosecco. I'm definitely attending more of these in-store events and enrolling in their weekly wine classes. And the associates on the floor are always awesome. Being there to answer questions, recommend or suggest and guide in the right direction. I never go wrong coming to this location. I love the energy and vibes. read more

I've been to total wine plenty of times to buy different wines and alcohol and never noticed they had classes before! Me and my friend signed up for a Chardonnay wine class on a Saturday evening for $20 each. It lasted about an hour and a half. Our wine connoisseur instructor was informative and generous with our wine tastings! There was plenty of snacks ( cheese, meats, veggies, crackers, fruits) to go along with our wine as well. We got to taste 9 different Chardonnays and write down the flavors and what they pair well with and rank which ones were our favorites. I ended up with two bottles( Olema and River Road) each $14!! Really great date night idea or hang time with friends!! Definitely recommend. read more

Great selection, love this place but every time the employees recommend something, I've regretted it. Don't trust their recs.

At the beginning of Oktoberfest '24, I made a list on my phone of imported German beers (focusing on Hefe's) that I would try if I got the opportunity. Sadly, that never materialized. But opportunity struck when we were close to the Long Beach location of Total Wine & More, and had some time to browse. Ended up picking a great six pack and a small case of soju, in preparation for Thanksgiving dinner. Weihenstephaner is the oldest brewery in the world (first brewing at the location at 1040 AD), and exports their various beers all over the world. The one I wanted to try was their witbier: Hefe Weissbier Bavarian style. Instead of a pre-assembled six pack, you are allowed to create your own from separate bottles. In fact, Total Wine has one side of an entire row dedicated to single bottles/cans of beer (of course having an higher eaches price than a six-pack). For German beers, they carried Weihenstephaner and Paulaner (sadly out of their oktoberfest styles), in both pints (16.9 oz) and the standard American bottles of 12 oz. So the six pack I created (all from Weihenstephaner): Hefe Weissbier (2) for $4.99 each, Korbinian ($4.99), Hefe Dunkel ($4.99), Vitus ($4.99), and Original Lager ($3.99). Ended up being by far the most expensive 6-pack ever, but that's OK. We also picked up a six pack of Korean soju (Good Day brand for $16.99). They stock what sells, so I didn't really see much Asian beer or spirits... but still a lot better selection than most liquor stores. Checkout was a cinch, and they made sure that we got credit by entering our loyalty number (phone). read more

Being a senior, I'm getting used to poor customer service. Total Wine Long Beach is the premier awful service store. Saturday night 6p. No help available and the one youngster who was at the front couldn't find his hands if all the lights were on and the sun shining into the store. It was an awful and last experience for me. Zero respect and zero help read more

Even though I wasn't approached or greeted but carefully watched, I wasn't refused the aide after the first failed attempt from a female associate when I spotted my targeted savior Dan to help me locate a new tequila i've wanted to try, Dan recommended and swayed me into changing my selection for a slightly higher priced bottle but by his words " more bang for my buck !" , I wasn't disappointed, neither was the lucky senorita who partook in the Cinco de drinko debauchery with papi ! This is my new favorite store! I've visited this location a few times prior, but really haven't took the time to browse around. Usually, just go get what I needed and then leave. Not this time around. I was appalled with so many different intriguing items on the shelves like rare wines and liquors, crafted beers, chocolates with liquors inside, whipped creams and ice creams containing alcohol, plus so much more. Excellent prices as well! They have everything you can imagine if you were shopping to stock up for your bar! Tasting events and private classes are also offered, but I hear they get filled up quickly. My main reason for this last visit, I've been obsessed with Cutwater Spicy Bloody Mary and blue cheese stuffed olives. This was the spot to find them. Also, had picked up some cheese stuffed sweet peppers and Fireball chocolates. So good! Sign up for their rewards program to gain $5 coupon every 5,000 points accumulated. My family and I stopped here to pick up some tequila for a member's birthday celebration at Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately they didn't have the brand we were looking for, so we picked up a bottle of Don Julio 1942. The team member who helped us out was nice, and we were able to check out quickly. The store is really clean and orderly. I was surprised that we weren't able to find El Tesoro here despite their huge array of products and brands, but I don't expect a store to have every specific thing I'm looking for in the first place, and honestly our bad for not calling and checking. Ample parking as this store is located in Long Beach Towne Center, so it shares a massive parking lot with a bunch of other stores. read more

This is one of the better Total Wines I've been to. They have a large large selection of any kind of spirit, wine or beer you're looking for. Same as most other locations their staff is going to push you to looking at their Spirits Direct brand which is decent but it's their brands they have made for themselves so they have more inclination to push them over others. I always take a spirits direct recommendation with a grain of salt because they have to push them. Other than that, they have great pricing for almost everything and offer such a large selection it'll make your head spin. The staff is always nice and the stores are always clean, organized and well kept. Check them out! read more

We stopped by this location to pick up a few extra cases of liquor for a wedding. After speaking with an associate who radioed in the request, we were told the cases would be ready at customer service in about three minutes. Since we needed a few other items, we took our time and didn't rush. When we finished shopping and headed to customer service, we were abruptly told to go stand in the checkout line. Not only were the cases not ready, but the customer service rep gave us serious attitude and claimed we had just asked for them -- which was completely false. We had spoken with someone well before that. Look, if the store was busy or there was a delay, that would've been totally understandable. What's not okay is being treated rudely and blamed as if we had unreasonable expectations. The communication between team members was clearly lacking, and the dismissive behavior from customer service only made the experience worse. We won't be returning to this location and wouldn't recommend it to others. Better training and basic courtesy would go a long way here. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service guy tonight (Wed, May 13, around 7:45 PM). While floor staff are nice, the Caucasian/white guy working customer service was incredibly rude and hostile.I bought the wrong tequila by mistake and came back within the hour for a simple, even exchange ($11 Jose Cuervo). Before I could explain, he aggressively snapped, "You can't return this in California." He refused to listen or ask questions. He made me feel so uncomfortable that I just left.Total Wine's policy explicitly allows California returns if "purchased in error." I was correcting an honest mistake immediately. Management needs to address this employee's attitude and train him on actual store policy. read more

This store wasted my time, as we approach the store got a full cart of beer when we're about to pay they didn't want to sell it to us because one of person that was not going to pay didn't have her ID. We should the person a picture id and they didn't accept it and manager with glasses so unhelpful and rude said the person without can wait outside and he still didn't want to sell to us. will never by from this store again bad management and ridiculous polices. As my cousin once said, "Total Wine is like a playground for adults". It's true! You can find so many different things in there. I usually like to see what fun, new flavored vodkas they have. Lots of seltzer options. Tons of beers. A huge selection of wine. But don't ask me about that, I know nothing about wine nor do I like it. Ick! Endless booze... fun seasonal items. They also have a cigar humidor. I don't know much about cigars but my husband goes there on occasion to buy some. Total Wine is for sure my favorite place to buy alcohol over the other similar stores. read more

My favorite place to get wine and beer. We use to go to Huntington Beach location 2012 - 2014. It is closer and great service. Thanks Total Wine!! read more

We do our "quarterly" splurge at Total Wine and never disappoints! Well, this last time we visited on December 30th to get a couple bottles of Veuve Clicquot! They only had a few bottles left, we got lucky! But Total has so many options that if they do run out of one brand, there's always another one to fall back on. Cannot go wrong with some Sean Don (Moet & Chandon) lol. (So keep in mind when you need champagne, don't wait until the last minute to buy for new year's eve or whatever occasion you are celebrating. ) We like to stock up on red wines, both organic and non- organic. There are too many to choose from so we try to stick with some favorites and try new ones when it sounds interesting or has a high rating. We are very lucky to live in a state that is one of the highest producers of wine. Tonic water is something we like to keep around. Lime and Yuzu Fever Tree was our choice this time around. Service is always great. Most of the sales associates can help you pick out a wine if you need help. Happy New Year and Salud! And don't drink and drive. read more

I have to give them such a high review because I come to this location often since it's by my house, order on the app, and make my pick up there. Using my order is always ready within like 15 minutes! I never usually have to wait within the hour to go pick up my items. And when I go to the pick up spot, usually I haven't had to wait more than 20 minutes. This last Saturday I literally got my order in like two minutes. Not sure why they have an average reviews? Everyone was so kind! Except for this cashier and their manager.... Me and my sisters went in to buy a gift for our mom. Me (20) and my sister (16) were not holding and bottles. When we entered kind workers offered wine to us and talked to us, OBVIOUSLY WE REJECTED since me and my little sister are minors. My little sister even said that she was a minor. No one said anything to us, made a comment to let us know that we shouldn't be in there. I was indeed holding a birthday card and some candies for my mom. My oldies sister (31) was the ONLY one holding the wines. SHE was the one who was making the purchase, NONE OF US touched or held the bottles. Once we got to the register the cashier asked for my oldest sister's ID (understandably). They then requested for our ID. We then look confused to each other and say we don't have IDENTIFICATION on us. The cashier asks what our relationship is to my oldest sister who is purchasing, she says we are sisters, the cashier doesn't believe us and calls over the manager. The manager comes over looking bored and tired of his life and says, "You HAVE to be over 21 to shop here. There are signs." He walks away annoyed with his job and we proceed to look at each other confused as we did not see signs. 1: Their signs are not that visible. They have two small signs at the SECOND entrance, one was covered up by some big sign to the right. Whereas the one to the left was just a 10 inch sign saying UNDER 21 CANNOT ENTER. 2: THERE ARE CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND EVERYWHERE! ID the kids... there were many kids under 10 walking with their mothers, touching wine, grabbing stuff, and whatnot. Their website says, "To help in this effort, we don't allow any person under the age of 21 to enter our store unless accompanied by an adult guardian of legal drinking age*. All parties in a group may be required to present identification. If you appear to be age 30 or under, our team members will ask for identification to ensure we are doing everything we can to prevent sales to minors. It's our responsibility to our neighbors and the community." WHICH IS UNDERSTANDABLE I LOVE THAT! When we tell the cashier that we did not see any signs in front the cashier proceeds to say, "Well they're all OVER the store," in a very very very annoyed tone. "If you're not looking for them OBVIOUSLY they're going to be missed." Respectfully, me and my little sister left while my oldest sister continued to make the purchase. We investigated and looked for the signs... hard to see. Note of advice: PLACE SIGNS IN FRONT.. MUCH MUCH BIGGER ONES. read more

I Always come here for everything that I need. Best selection hands down, and more times than not best prices.

The manager started interrogating me just because I'm 21 and they didn't believe my ID was real. This only happened at checkout. Earlier, during the wine tasting, I had zero issues. I showed my ID and they accepted it without question. There was absolutely no reason to suddenly treat me like I was doing something wrong. It was embarrassing and unprofessional making me state my full address in front of people. read more

Very rude, sexist, and racist! My husband and I went to go buy some Christmas gifts, & at the registers they did not let my husband purchase the bottles because I told them I didn't have my ID on me. "Since you're in a party you have to show me", it was only me and my husband. The lady in front of me did not get asked to show her ID. And for the 2 ladies in back of us , one of the lady's was clearly underage, and the Total wine employee let them continue buying there alcohol without asking for BOTH of their IDs. As they did for us, when I wasn't even paying for them. 0 stars RUDE SERVICE. read more

My liver is hating me during this COVID-19 pandemic. Haha... not really, but it might if I lived alooooone. Lol. On the other hand, my wallet is doing alright, because Total Wine & More has reasonable prices on most items. The staff kills me sometimes. I get great service on the phone from one lady only to get a total flake on the next call. What's with that? COVID-19 curbside service is fairly fast and easy (5/12/20 & more recently on 6/16/20). Just park at one of their designated signs and follow their instructions - either text or call I think. Pop the truck or unlock swing your Jeep gate like me. Show them your ID through your window. If I didn't have children in tow, I'd totally go in the store. Curbside pretty much rocks my socks, though. Easy as pie. Have a toast to someone you love. Time goes by too fast, friends. read more
