She's also amazing at keeping the area under control, creating a safer and more welcoming environment despite the challenges of the neighborhood. Honestly, I don't even like going to that part of town--it's not the safest--but I braved it because she made it worthwhile. Unfortunately, my last visit this morning left me deeply disappointed. I had an encounter with another employee, a Hispanic female, who verbally assaulted me and made me feel completely disrespected. She threatened violence (but said she wasn't able to because she was on the clock). This did not stop her from yelling threats from behind the counter within earshot of about 7 people in line. It's heartbreaking that one person's behavior has pushed me to stop coming here because I can no longer support a place that allows such treatment of customers.
