I was thinking what a fine day it was to buy a new bong...Easter Sunday and the sky was blue…read more Reading Louise C's review, I took a walk around the block, literally, and found what I sought, B&M Tobacco, introduced myself and got Mark & Maher's undivided attention at researching my new bong requirements. In short order, I had what I wanted and then had them provide me the nickel tour. With their thick accents and the offers and counter-offers, I felt like I was 19 again negotiating my first hookah in the endless side-alleys of Istanbul's Grand Bazaar. But instead of 6 thousand miles away, I was only 6 minutes away. And like Istanbul, I got the distinct impression that whatever I might want, B&M might provide. But I don't need to test the extent of this impression like I did when 19. Maturity takes its toll. Bongs, hookahs, exotic water-pipes, incense, cigars, cigarettes, lighters, cold drinks, Lotto tix, sex toys and tapes...they know what we want. And to make sure of that, they have their own line of T-shirts to strut around in. Drop on in, see what's up and say hi to Mark & Maher. Tell 'em you heard about it on Yelp and that you're very happy you don't have to fly to Istanbul.

Maybe due to the break in over the long weekend, I saw broken window about 1:30 am and police there etc, it pisses me off that crime is happening more often in our neighborhood recently. I remember when this area was really bad twenty years ago and I hope it doesn't repeat. I wanted to support them as a customer this week but since hours not posted anywhere except on here I don't know when they close up these days Anyhow I really like some of the employees, miss the guy who ran it like a pro few years back, he was the best. Lately though some of them don't know what you are asking for, my theory is they are hanging out in the back door more than they are getting to know their products. I frequent places that know me as customer and that's disappearing it seems. Sucks they got robbed, no one deserves that.
