There are dozens of local smoke shops in this area of Long Beach, but when given the choice I go here. The prices at first seem high, but the owner is usually the person helping you and he is more than willing to negotiate on prices. Also he is a friendly guy in general, and actually seems to try to get you the right item. The selection here is what is so great, and for a small shop this place is stacked with pipes, glass pieces, tobacco articles, and other smoke shop items. Basically, if you need a specific piece they will have it and if you chat up the owner you will get it at a fair price as well. read more

The guy working at the shop hung out in the back room for over 30 minutes while I waited for him and after calling for him a couple times with no responses. When he finally came out, I asked to buy a glass screen and he was clearly over charging me for those so I just left with nothing. read more

I popped in because they just opened and I had a rough night at Brite Spot (only thing open). I have to say that Jamil one of the nicest guys out there. He is old school. He loves to talk and not just talk business. Ask him some questions and he is happy to talk. Jamil is big on the Hookah. Ask his advice on the tobacco, coals, and pipes he will tell you the truth. He recommended me some Starbuzz (nice), a bit pricey and some beautiful coals. I originally thought he was over charging me but it was just quality. I like his selection, about the same as HeadHunters and the prices are fair. Just be nice to the guy, talk a bit, ask questions and support. Once you get to know them they start to throw in a free lighter. It doesn't come from just buying but being nice. Don't be afraid to joke and ask for what you really want. I must explain this because it is a cultural difference and many Americans don't understand this, no offense, just a lack of information (ignorant). Peace read more

I initially gave this place 3 stars but after all the experiences I've had i won't be going back. If u get shisha here be careful. Some of them are expired and the owner doesn't pay attention to it and the prices are a little higher but good selection. I went one morning 20 minutes after the posted opening time and they were still closed. My last straw was when I was looking for a new base for my km (kahlil mamoon) hookah and he showed me 3 vases that had no name on them and were all full of mold at the bottom. This got to be the worst place ever! I came here to get dabbing equipment. The owner sold me a bong and a nail. He didnt have the connecting parts and told me to go somewhere else or wait till next week. I drove to two other shops and showed them my equipment and they all said: "He sold you that for dabbing? The glass is much too thin, its going to break". As i couldnt find a connecting peace at the other shops, I went back and told him i want to change the bong, as i was told it is not made for dabbing. The owner said: "I know more then they do, it wont break. If it breaks, you get money back". I gave him my hand and said: Deal. I got a connecting peace somewhere else then, and used the equipment the first time. When heating the nail, there were funny "glass scratching sounds", and a few seconds later the glass bursted. The next day i drove back and told him, he said he would not memorize me and hast to charge at least for one connecting part. When I told him he gave me a hand shake on that the equipment would not break, or I could come back, he did give me new parts. When going home I installed them, and after the second dab: It broke in peaces because of the heat. I threw everything away now and will never, ever come back, not even for smaller gear. read more

This place is so shady. I bought some fake pee and asked one of the employees if I could return it if I didn't need it. The employee said yes, as long as it's not open and I keep my receipt. I come back to do a return a week later and a different employee said they don't do returns. First of all, I was lied to, and my receipt said $5 less than the amount I actually paid for ($20 instead of $25). So one of the employees basically pocketed that extra $5. Don't come here, there are more reliable smoke shops out there. read more

This is literally the biggest scam smoke shop I have ever been to. I bought a product that didn't work at this smoke shop so when I went to confront the owner about it he got defensive and angry. REFUSED TO HELP. So I said screw it, maybe it was just that one. So I go ahead and buy another one, go to school and get home to use it and the thing is broken as well! So I went BACK AGAIN today to talk to them. They told me I was just trying to get free stuff ( when how could that be true I even bought more after they didn't help me last time) anyways I go inside and show them the product isn't working. This time the lady starts yelling at me and tells me that they work fine. SO I MADE THE DUMB CHOICE to buy one more and she said" open it and smoke it in front of me" so I did and I almost died laughing!!!! it DIDNT WORK AGAIN!! right in front of her!!! She was so mad she basically threw my money at me and I LEFT!!! Do your self a favor and go down the street to the Breath Vapor shop. Super cool people and you won't get yelled at for your concerns. read more
