Not gonna lie this is my favorite liquor store ever. Especially for alcohol. First came here when I lived in Lakewood and I moved, yet I still come back here. And if you're lucky you may even show up when they are offering samples. You want to know what type of samples I'm referring to, well then show up cuz something tells me it changes. I don't know if they do it throughout the week but I think it's a weekend thing. The service is nice and honestly I've never seen this place messy. I don't know if other places do this, but I love seeing how they have little mix drink bundles in small jugs ready for purchase. These are perfect for anyone with no alc making experience and you need to make something for a pregame! I'm sure I'll be back soon! read more

Liquor? I don't even know her! *giggle* Stopped by Happy's Liquor after eating at Cluck & Blaze, for Lotto tickets. Upon entering, I was taken aback by the huge selection of liquor. All the bases are covered, here. I mainly browsed the bourbon aisle, and they had top shelf to the cheap mixers all accounted for. Prices seemed to be competitive. The cashier was friendly & quickly handed me my non-winning tickets. Parking is via the spots in front of the store & private lots in the back. Happy's Liquor is located across Jack in the Box. I've been to the Happy's Liquor in Hawaiian Gardens, also for Lotto. Whereas that place seemed run down & uninviting, the Happy's Liquor in Long Beach was clean & pleasant to shop. Happy's Liquor is a great destination for a quick booze run. read more

I frequent this liquor store often because it is close to my home, lately when I go there I notice the men behind the counter are either Indians or Arab, they are so rude especially to black people they have bad customer service I was there just the other day and the guy threw my bag at me they don't speak and the store seems to be under some type of Demonic Spirit I will not give them another one of my dollars and I will spread the word to my neighbors. read more

I used to frequently visit this spot when it was under previous ownership and called" Pauls". That was in my twenties when I drank the cheapest I could find like thunderbird and mad dog 20/20. It is so much nicer now. The signage is even an upgrade. I buy most of my liquor from Costco now. But, this is a good quick buy. read more

This is an amazing liquor store! Like I've mentioned before in my reviews, I do Uber Eats and that's how I found this gem. I live in Long Beach and I am always looking for different liquor stores in Los Angeles. They have an extensive selection of liquor and mixes. It's very bright and exciting in the store so it gets you in the mood to party. The store clerks are very friendly and they were very happy to see me come back after I finished my shift with Uber. DEAR BEER CONSUMERS: I have visited 3x and will continue to visit because this place is quite the social experiment and I'm a masochist. Unless you're a female, staff is very impersonal, unwelcoming and usually on their phones. You better have time because most of the beer is old. I actually found beer I drank years ago and beer I drank on the east coast last year. I found MELVIN beer as old as 2018. This shouldn't be on a shelf or consumed by anyone. Like someone else has said, CHECK THE DATES. But if you look hard enough or are lucky enough to find a freshly delivered lot then you'll hit jackpot! Or you'll settle for less :( read more

This place has a good selection of spirits, wine and beer. I like stopping by and picking up beer when I am in the area. I bought a 4 pack of Pseudo Sue and when I had it today man it had a lot of build up in the bottom of my glass. Checked the date on the bottom it has a best by date of 1/25/19. I come to this place for 1 reason, they have a solid selection of craft beers. Maybe the staff isn't always warm and friendly but they have been nice to me and on other occasions they're just doing business. They place isn't the cheapest but they do have a decent selection of beers including some good Goose Island sours. I think driving in LA traffic with all the phone distracted dummies is way more aggravating. Choose your experience. I'll be back. read more

Wow this place was huge and a little overwhelming on selecting a beer to take home. They have such a huge selection from local breweries and also from breweries throughout SoCal. They have a great selection of beers from Golden Rod which a favorite of mine so that is always fun to check out. They have a great selection of wine and hard liquor too. Prices are great to versus some other stores in the area that specialize in alcohol. Def a recommend if you are looking to buy alcohol for that party you are throwing or attending. read more

The only reason I'm rating this place a 3 star out of 5 is because most of the time I don't have any issues here. But today wasn't the case, stopped by to pick up some snacks and when I got home I noticed that the Ben and Jerry's had freezer burn. I went back and tried returning the item however they refused to take it back because "it was opened". Well duh of course it's opened that's how I realized that it was bad Ice cream This honestly wasn't the first time that I noticed something slightly off about the ice cream they carry. I don't know if the freezer they use isn't staying as cold as it should be or? Just make sure to check your stuff before buying, as these people won't return/exchange anything. read more
