This spot is on a busy street in Long Beach, where there's some parking in the back. You can also enter or leave from front or back too. This is kind of a new/modern type of coffee place. Staff is super cool, and they pump out drinks pretty fast. They've got places to sit inside, and a unique menu with signature or named speciality drinks. My coffee was tasty. I keep seeing this place on my FYP on the Tok and was visiting my son, who lives in LB, so I gave it a try. Yummo! I got the Day Trip iced. Excellent! Not too sweet and nice touch of cinnamon. The staff was friendly. I got there 30 minutes before they were closing, so no line. Cute place to sit and do work or chit chat with a friend. Of course they have merch. Will definitely be back next visit. read more

This was my first time trying coffee drunk and I personally wasn't impressed. I got my usual order an iced latte with cinnamon and honey. The straws given are really tiny and I felt my latte was watered down relatively quick. The service was decent. The ambience is not my preference. It's mostly outdoor and is hard to study or work imo. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

I've been wanting to visit and finally came in before a Sunday morning walk. Staff were friendly and answered my questions about the pastries before a final decision was made. I ordered an iced the On My Way latte with a passion fruit pastry. Ugh - I was on my way to heaven! The flavors were pronounced and neither were too sweet and I ended up with flakes everywhere (as one does with a deliciously well-made pastry). So I finally tried coffee drunk , I got the vanilla latte & the breakfast burrito with bacon , the burrito was pretty good , and the coffee was ok , I would get an extra shot added next time , but that's my preference , over all they have really good espresso! I love coming to CoffeeDrunk. The vibes are really chill with friendly and attentive staff. It gets really packed and can be a bit loud, so I'd recommend it more for meetups than working. On this visit I tried the fall menu item, Pier Pressure. It has apple syrup, caramel drizzle, milk, & matcha. All of these ingredients blend perfectly together, creating Fall right in your cup. I've been coming to this location since it opened during COVID. The entire staff used to be so friendly and accommodating. I was in recently with family from out of town excited to show them a fun local coffee shop and the staff was incredibly rude and cold. They were not busy and it was early on a week day, but they were clearly irritated that the four of us were in. Maybe it's because they're the only people left in a city like Long Beach willing to work for a business that supports the current administration. It's very sad that a small business that has had so much success since its opening would not be more customer service oriented. Finished a run at the beach and wanted a quick coffee for my drive home, stumbled upon CoffeeDrunk. I got the drink called Slow Burn, it was DELICIOUS! Major down side is that it took 20 minutes to get my drink.... It looked busy inside but not 20 minutes busy. Coffee Drunk is a bright and spacious coffee shop on 4th Street. It offers a unique variety of coffee, tea, and tonic options. We opted for the On My Way latte (house-made salted pistachio syrup, espresso, milk), one of their "Claim to Fame" drinks. We found it to be pleasant and not too sweet. We also ordered the Weekend in Long Beach off the seasonal menu (muddled orange, house-made yuzu syrup, maple syrup, fever-tree tonic - only available iced). We subbed the espresso float for a matcha float for $1 and found the drink to be light, refreshing, and energizing - perfect for a hot summer day. We saw people order and leave, and we also saw people order and stay to read a book or work on their laptops (there are a few outlets throughout the shop). The environment is laid back and perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. Street parking is available in front of the shop for a fee, as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods. read more

I really wanted to like this place and perhaps it was an off day.. but between the extremely rude person at the front taking my order, the lack of customization on the lattes, and the actual taste - I just feel there's much better spots to visit for coffee in Long Beach. Let's start with service: the woman at the front was very dry, quiet, and uninterested. We tried asking her if we could add cold foam or sweet cream to our drinks to make them sweeter, and she said it was only available on seasonal drinks. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience, and for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch. read more

First time at this Coffee Drunk location! I tried the same drink as last time- the Christmas coded cold brew. I'm not sure if this location is just different than the other but I LOVED my order last time. Today, the coffee tasted sour and it was very watery. Even the appearance of the drink was way different than the other location. Also, the staff here is not the friendliest especially the cashier. read more

I've been here twice now and I wanted to like it so bad both times but it just didn't hit for me as much as the reviews were hyping it up. The espresso tasted really smoky and it's not really what I enjoy (but it might just be personal preference). I've gotten The Instigator the first time I went and the On My Way Latte the second time. which are both pretty popular drinks. For The Instigator, I didn't really taste much of the flavor and tasted just like a plain latte to me. The On My Way Latte was a lot better in terms of flavor, but it wouldn't be something I'd come back for. It's pretty busy inside but the baristas work really quickly! There were tables but they definitely fill up fast. The decor inside is really cute and plenty of people were studying inside. read more

Such a cute, adorable little coffee shop on the corner--very welcoming and cozy. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. I ordered an iced matcha latte with a shot of espresso, and it was just okay--not really impressive. My daughter got a chai, and she felt the same way about hers. Delicious! I love the decor of the place, all the witty signs inside and the overall vibe make it a great place to be. I ordered the instigator at the recommendation of the barista and it was delicious! Not overly sweet and it had a moderately strong coffee taste, I would for sure get that again! I also ordered a matcha tea, that wasn't bad but the matcha they use was so light on flavor I would skip that the next time. Definitely will be back to try other coffee options! read more

Decided to try a new coffee shop since we were in the area and this was one of the closest and highest rated ones so we decided to head on over! It was definitely a poppin spot. They have a small parking lot next door that was basically empty so we just parked there and walked over, didn't think we would take long. We walked in,place is PACKED. The line wrapped around the whole shop which was wild but it moved quickly. I wanted to try their seasonal drinks originally but then I saw that they had a pistachio latte (on my way latte) on their regular menu and instantly gravitated towards that! I love pistachio anything so I had to get it. I ordered a small, didn't want to go crazy, immediate regrets. I fell in love with this drink SO HARD. The pistachio flavor was strong! The coffee was strong! It was the perfect cup. I noticed the baristas also shake their drinks in a mason jar which I have never seen before. They had a small bench right in front of the pickup area for you to sit and wait. Their decor and logo are the cutest! Upside down decor and even a trippy/fuzzy text sign that made it seem like you were "drunk". Overall a great experience and sad that this place isn't closer to us (about a 45-50 min drive). I am so obsessed with the Hall Pass collaboration that they're doing with Bar Becky. It's freaking delicious and worth all $10. The Hall Pass is basically an elevated Peanut Butter & Jelly matcha latte. It sounds too thick and decadent, but it's perfect. They've dialed down the richness of the peanut butter and amplified the fruitiness of the strawberry rhubarb jam to compliment each other and the matcha wonderfully.
