Great coffee and matcha! Love their flavors, although half of them were already sold out by the time I arrived around 11 am. We tried the Reinne'spanner (love the toasted coconut on top!) and the mot, hai, ba yo! (so rich and creamy!! if you like it sweet, order this one!). Can't wait to try the baguio banana and ube ube. They have closed up shop at Open Gallery per their instagram, and are opening up their storefront soon on 4th Street, next to San and Wolves (which will be an amazing breakfast combo! can't wait!)

I actually had a brief connection with Reinne She helped styled me for my 25th birthday at Artizia back in 2021 and I loved that dress even to this day. She was soo sweet and knowledgeable that I go back just for her whenever I have to dress for events. I was incredibly sad when I heard about what happened to her and I'm so happy this places opened up in memory of her. Unfortunately we came when their flagship location was under construction so we didn't get to see the full brick and mortar but we will be back! 10/10 for ambience, service and drinks. We got the Reinne's spanner both with espresso and matcha. It was soooo good, not too sweet and very refreshing the toasted coconut is also a great touch as well! I will continue to come back over and over again to show my support . RIP Reinne

I was sadly disappointed with my overall experience here because the reviews were mostly positive and everything looked really cute. TLDR: I was overwhelmed inside and underwhelmed with their matcha. They need a better line system to prevent cutting. I tried their Blue Jasmin Matcha which tasted mostly like milk with hints of matcha and sweet pea. I walked here so I didn't experience what parking is like in this area. I believe it's only street parking. The interior and decor is trendy and cute. I liked being able to browse all the small items against the wall. It's really small inside and have no tables inside. You can sit outside on some stools. They have no markers or system for the line to order inside with only a line roped up outside. At one point, people waiting for their drinks were mixed in with people waiting to order, it felt very chaotic in there and I couldn't wait to get outside. This system also caused 4 people to cut in front of me when I was waiting in the outside portion of the line. It would've been more if us and other people in line didn't attempt to tell people there was a line. As upsetting as it was, I don't blame the people because there were no signs, system of a line aside from the short rope outside that people didn't even notice, or any employee who's responsibility was to manage the line. It was kind of comical because the cashier told the people in front of us who had cut the entire line outside that "hopefully [they] didn't have to wait outside for too long." They responded with no because they didn't wait in that line. My Blue Jasmin Sweet Pea Matcha that I got with whole milk tasted only like milk with faint hints of matcha and sweet pea. I saw the employees using a scale when pouring the matcha so my assumption has to be that this is the set amount of matcha for this drink. They do blend the matcha very well so the drink was smooth. It wasn't until I was at the end of my drink when all my matcha had settled at the bottom and I mixed that into the small amount of drink left that I was able to taste the matcha. I also didn't really taste the Jasmin in it at all and I think I could maybe make out the sweet pea.You can see in my picture that they didn't even fill my cup to the top like I saw most of the other drinks were filled up to. My friend got the strawberry shortcake matcha drink and also mentioned she didn't really taste the matcha in her drink either. I would've been interested in coming back to give them a second chance to try their pandan matcha because I love pandan and maybe this was just an off day as they said they're still in their soft opening phase. But honestly the whole wait situation turned me off and if they don't have a better system in place, I wouldn't try going again.

Check it out at this location before they move!

I've been having some bad luck with having my heart set on trying something I've seen on a menu then finding out when we arrive at the location that it's sold out. Today, it's the Ube + Ube item. Darn. So, I got the Reinne'spanner and it was a solidly good drink. The quality of their drinks are solid. Also go the Bibingka they offered with a recommended dipping sauce and loved that too. If you look up the back story of how this place began, that's where the purpose of supporting it comes in. It's like, just go, grab some drinks. Feel good about it. Right now they are in an art gallery with artists from CSULB and oh my, I love the exhibits presented...socially conscious, meaningful selections. Service is friendly.

I've been excited to try this place as it has a heartwarming story. When I arrived at their location on Yelp, it was under construction and they have a temporary location down the street. It's only street parking so consider time to look for parking there. There was plenty of unique drinks I wanted to try, but I could only choose one. Reinne's Spanner (5/5); This coffee drink comes with pandan, cream top, and coconut. I thought the drink was great. Not too sweet and couldnt taste the pandan, but it did taste unique. I want to come back and try the other drinks

Found this cute little coffee shop from a trending video and didn't realize how incredibly close to home the backstory would hit. Hearing it brought me to tears and inspired me to come out and support. Reinnes Place is a Vietnamese Filipino coffee shop with really cool inspired drinks. They're currently operating out of The Open Gallery on 7th Street, and their new storefront on 4th Street is under construction right now. I tried the Reinne'spanner since I'm a huge fan of Vienna lattes and it was so good. I got it with the vegan foam cream and really appreciated that it was lactose free and tasty option. The barista was friendly and gave great recommendations based on what I liked. The shop just has the chillest most local vibe and I love the idea of the Reinne Checks, where people can drop by to write memories. Such a fun and sentimental way to really make you feel part of the community. Can't wait to come back when their new spot opens and I'll definitely continue supporting!

Such a charming little spot with a unique art gallery collab concept! The staff here are friendly and the blue jasmine matcha was fantastic. Perfect amount of sweetness with high quality matcha and a hint of jasmine. Set up wise very simple with long tables to share with fellow cafe drinkers and iconic blue plastic chairs as to not distract from the art pieces on the wall. Street parking only. Didn't have too much trouble finding a spot in the residential area. Would visit again!

Super DISAPPOINTED!! The Baguio Banana was more of a 1 star...to be honest. Since the place is new, I don't want to be too harsh on the ratings. We were told that it was their top 3 drinks. Paying like $8 or so for one drink that ain't good ...INSANE!! The drink literally had no taste of banana. The coffee itself didn't taste fresh since there was no coffee aroma or anything. Coffee itself was weak. It tasted so watered down. The coffee was made quick. I don't think there were any efforts in making the drink. I should have trusted my instincts. I saw this place popping up on social media a few times. The names of the drinks and descriptions were creative. Got me wanting to try it. I tried to visit previously, but the address was incorrect. When I finally got the correct address, the hours were all over the place. I felt like the place was so unorganized..so how could it be good? However, curiosity got me. Since I was in the area so decided to give it a chance. When we arrived, I saw the setting. It was already a turn off. Don't get it wrong, it was nice to browse the artwork. The coffee setup was sad. We should have walked out. However, we didn't. Service was meh as well. We were standing there waiting for service. There was none. The dudes were too busy talking. No acknowledgment...SMH. We ended up browsing the artworks a bit. Walked back to the small coffee station and got some services. The guy did try to start small convos, but we were pretty much OVER IT. We paid and browsed the paintings a bit more. Not even 5 minutes and the drink was ready. WTH? $8 something!! Didn't even finish the drink...tossed!!

[ART] for experience & purchase, I believe.

Having seen Rienne's Place pop up on my FYP more times than I can count, I made a mental note that it was in Long Beach. When my friends & I were thrifting in the area & needed a little pick-me-up between shops, I suggested we stop in. I am so glad we did. I am usually a decaf girlie, but today I went all in & ordered the Milo Dino. Heavenly does not even begin to describe it. The coffee had a rich, full-bodied depth with a deeply chocolatey finish that lingered beautifully. It was so smooth & indulgent that I genuinely could not stop sipping it. My friend tried it, loved it, & later texted me to confirm the name of the drink. That tells you everything. I already know she will be back. The café itself is stunning. It is spacious & sunlit with an almost warehouse-like interior & plenty of table & chair seating throughout. The natural light makes the space feel warm & welcoming. What really stood out was the gorgeous artwork displayed around the café. Beautiful pieces from local artists add so much character & soul to the space. Love that. I am grateful we were nearby & able to support this local business. There is something special about a place that feels community-centered & heartfelt while honoring Rienne's legacy. Wishing her husband continued strength & the business much success. Long Beach, you have a gem.

stopped by to check out the grand opening of reinne's place and left pleasantly fulfilled! we got the ube ube with espresso, reinnespanner with espresso, kyoto milk tea, and butterfly milk tea. every single drink was a hit and not overwhelmingly sweet at all. i appreciated the sweetness level of every drink cause their flavor profiles were not compromised in the slightest. customer service was perfect and for now, i can only continue to look forward to the next time i get to have reinne's place again.

The turkey and brie has a nice fluffy bread, a healthy portion of turkey, a mix of herbs, and this super sweet and fragrant fig mostarda, which is like a fig mustard spread. Let's start with service: the woman at the front was very dry, quiet, and uninterested. We tried asking her if we could add cold foam or sweet cream to our drinks to make them sweeter, and she said it was only available on seasonal drinks. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience, and for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch.
