    Coco ube

First time trying Meccha Matcha! I decided to take part of their Ube menu since it's only for a limited time. Since I am mostly doing decaf I went for the coco ube. I really enjoyed it on a hot day it was refreshing and a great non caffeine alternative. Store is clean and lots of seating inside. Staff is friendly and lots of lighting. Will definitely be back to try the soft serve!

Meccha matcha is a really good matcha/dessert spot! I prefer the drinks at this location over the Artesia one. Everything I've tried here has been pretty good, and I'm never disappointed. I love that you can customize how strong you want your matcha. The workers a nice and there's a decent sized parking lot in the front. The tables are on the smaller size but the AC is good, and it's still a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink or dessert. Great spot if you're craving matcha or matcha sweets.

Why was this soo good!! Their strawberry matcha was delicious! The matcha soft serve 1 was perfectly sweet, creamy and not bitter at all. The service was really fast too! Cute place to come with a friend to have a drink or soft serve. Plenty of parking.

I love this place the ice cream is so good! I used to go to the artesia location and I'm so happy they opened up in Long Beach. Although I despise the parking lot situation at this little plaza, I'll sacrifice the experience for this matcha place. I almost gave it 4 stars because of the parking and hard to get to location. I didn't get ice cream this day but I did get their special matcha ube drink it was so good! I also got their little matcha cookie, delish. Both quite sweet but you can tell the ube is made w real ingredients. Real snazzy looking inside, ample space, clean and stylish. Service was kind - thank you

My husband and I are hugeee matcha fans and absolutely love the Meccha Matcha location in Artesia. We were excited to learn they recently opened this new location and Long Beach and wanted to try it out. The interior is much bigger and more modern here than at the Artesia location. There are more tables to work at and the ambience is cozy. As for their drinks, I tried their spring blueberry matcha drink and it was decent. However, my husband's matcha latte automatically defaulted to iced even though he had wanted a hot one. The server forgot to ask whether he wanted it hot or cold. The matcha flavor was not as strong as usual. Thus, we are happy we tried this new location but still think the drinks are better made at the original Artesia location.

I'm just so thrilled they're in this neighborhood. And I've been to their soft opening and also came to the Grand Opening. So yah, welcome Meccha and yay matcha! So, if you love matcha soft serve, they have it, and it's yum. They also have "guest" flavors like Ube, Hojicha...that kind of stuff that they announce on Insta. They have multiple levels of Matcha depending on how strong you like it, and it's customizable to your taste. They have floats for more indulgence. I tried their almond matcha croissant..and I recommend. I also tried their small little green matcha cookies...okay, yum as well. They also have espresso matcha...so yah, options are here to be had. Also, they have cute merch if you're interested in that. The service is friendly. It's not a huge space, but the set-up is just right for work/study if it's not crowded. Lovely, lovely. I wish them all the success.

This is their soft opening so their menu is 20% off for now and their hours are M-Sunday from 10 am - 8 am. They are in the corner of a small shopping area next to a Spectrum Store and Einstein Bagels. I know this place is known for their Matcha, but I was interested in Hojicha, so I got their Hojicha Strawberry Latte with oat milk ($7.50). The Hojicha tasted smooth, a bit chocolatey, pretty good. But I couldn't really taste the strawberry. Anyways, if you love Matcha ice cream, this is the spot to try it. If I didn't have to go back to work I'd have gotten one and sat inside to eat it. I'll be back if I want a good Matcha fix!

Came here to try the soft serve. The menu is pretty extensive. Cafe is tucked away in the corner of the Farmers and Merchant plaza (next to spectrum and Einstein bro bagels). Plenty of parking and ample seating inside. They do not offer samples for the soft serve. Got the level 1 soft serve and it was pretty good. The serving size is also very big. Option for waffle cone vs cup and opted for the cup. It was light and creamy, not bitter at all. The only thing I will say is there were a lot of matcha clumps in the soft serve, would have been better with it the powder sifted better but I guess it added some texture to it lol

Large menu of hot and iced matcha drinks, some espresso options, and soft serve. They have a rotating soft serve flavor throughout the month. I tried the okabe latte, croissant, and a matcha cookie. There is only one size for drinks, looks like about 12 oz. The matcha cookie was very good. Croissant was decent and a good value at $3. The Okabe latte was quite sweet and had a good amount of sweet foam on top. I wish there were some cozy seating options, everything is hard wood. They do have free Wi-Fi and outlets.

Yay, finally a decent matcha spot in this part of town! I'm always happy to try out and support a local business! The inside is spacious, designed well, and clean. Plenty of outlets and seating to get some work done, especially if you're a local student. My strawberry oat milk matcha was excellent. I like the matcha level customization as you can ease into the matcha taste if you're unfamiliar with it. I prefer level 1 or 2 depending on the drink. My drink came out very quickly and I like the "pebble" style of ice as opposed to the huge chunky ice. (Noting this since I know some people are picky about their ice!) Everyone was friendly and they're currently running a 20% off deal during certain hours of their soft opening. Honestly the only con is that the parking lot is kind of annoying, but you can always park in the huge Target lot and walk over.

I was so excited to finally have a Meccha Matcha in Long Beach!! I got the White Chocolate Matcha Latte Level 2, the Matcha Latte Level 2, and the House Latte. The White Chocolate Matcha Latte is my absolute favorite, it's sweet and the level 2 matcha made it the perfect amount of bitter. I got mine with oat milk because I feel like it compliments the matcha latte the best. The regular Matcha Latte Level 2 is amazing! There's no additional sweetness like if you were to add cold foam or cream, but it still has the perfect amount of bitterness and sweetness alone. I also ordered this one with oat milk. The House Latte tasted great. It tasted like your basic latte with whole milk, it's not super different than any other latte. The cafe is so cute. It's very bright, well decorated, music playing, and there's tons of outlets. There's WiFi, and there's the WiFi name and password near the register. The tables can become easily wobbly so beware if you're studying. There's no cushioning on the booth seats or the chair seats so I wouldn't consider it a study spot for me, but with the WiFi and the outlets, it would be a great study spot for others. The employees are kind and helpful! They were all great! I can't wait to come back here again! I love this place as a place I could hang out with friends, catch up, or get a good Matcha Latte. I already saw people beginning to study here, and I think this is going to be a great place for others to study.

This has to be one of my Top 2 fav matcha spots I've ever had. Although, it is on the pricey side, I will say it's definitely worth it. The price goes up depending on the level of concentrated matcha you'd like (ex: Level 1, 2, 3) . I personally love their level 2. The service is fast and nice. There's also IPads on the wall to do self checkout which makes it very convenient if you're in a rush. The shop its self is clean and a nice place to study. Music is fire and just good vibes overall.

Cute little new matcha shop next door to Einstein bagels. They have many drink choices and cookies, I ordered a vanilla oat latte, half sweetened and it came out perfect for me because I don't like very sweet drinks! All the lattes and basic drinks have condensed milk so I just asked for that to be removed & the staff was super helpful with all my questions and even made sure to ask if my drink was not too sweet for me. I will definitely be back! Especially to try the little cookies, they look so good.

Located in the quaint Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, street parking was plentiful right outside the restaurant. We came around noon on Saturday, and thankfully despite their busy brunch rush we were seated immediately. Even though all of their seating is outdoors, tables are shaded by overhanging canopy and just added to the cute southern Italian bistro vibes of the place. The menu had a solid selection of both brunch and lunch items - I loved the Burrata di Campagna, which was flavorful with just the right amount of tart from the heirloom tomatoes. For my main meal I had to go with the Casarecce - one of their pastas that's made fresh in house daily. The braided pasta was wonderfully textured and soaked up all the pesto sauce without being overly oily, a perfect meal for a hot summer day. We finished our meal with a Nutella Croissant, from their artisan bakery that also makes their bread fresh every day. Perhaps I am a little biased, but the laminated dough was perfectly light and flaky, encasing a very generous filling of hazelnut chocolate cream. Our check at the end of the meal even came with a custom drawn postcard by one of the Nonna Mercato service staff - another present to add on to what was already a gift of a meal!
