What a pleasant surprise to be walking down the street and a Pinkberry magically appears! My friend and coworker ordered a smoothie and I had a regular cup with fruit and almond toppings. Nothing beats a Pinkberry treat on a sunny day. The service was great and the guy working gave my friend the extra last bit of smoothie in the blender that didn't fit in the cup, instead of just throwing it out. I thought that was pretty cool. read more

We made a quick last minute stop at Pinkberry at 9:50pm unaware until we got there that they close at 10pm. There was no one else there and we felt guilty about ordering anything...but the very nice young woman working there said that it was not a problem at all to order and she was happy to help us. Fantastic customer service! We asked if it was okay to sit down for a few and that we would eat fast. She assured us that everything was fine and that it was going to take her some time to clean up & close for the night so we were welcome to stay. Ordered thrue uber eats and they made my order wrong, they didn't even let the driver know or advise them at all so they could of comunícate it with me if they didn't have a particular flavor or toppings, I ordered the pomegranate with mangos and strawberry's and they only gave me plain yogurt! read more

Chose all toppings that I craved/appealed to me that day (usually get fruits). This time mochi bits, flakes, Captain Crunch, granola, white chocolate chips, fruity pebbles & pecans...nomnom. Was told afterwards that toopins are usually capped at 5, but I ended up gettin 7 cuz there was a POS register technical delay. Told upfront that twas cash only cuz of POS register system. Went 2 bank & came back. Asked ideally for any non-dairy/lactose free options: they didn't hav any & totally understood cuz of demographics/logistics there. Still was in a pleasant mood & took a chance on it since I planned on going str8 home right after/wrapped up errands. Friendly, respectful, honest & polite big Boi @ register did well on customer service. I forgot to get his name... cheers~! It has been years since I visited a Pinkberry. It's one of those places off the radar or just doesn't get much buzz anymore. Walking through town, I remembered seeing a location in the area and popped in too see if it was as good as I remembered. Verdict...Good not great in terms of yogurt. 4 options available and 3 are more on the tart side with original being the most neutral and the chocolate variety the only sweetish option. We were allowed to sample flavors again, so I took the opportunity to do so. Individually, I was a fan of 3 flavors. I mixed the 3 and it was definitely the wrong choice. 2 tart flavors (original and one more on the tropical side) combined with chocolate didn't work as they start melting together. this is definitely the type of place to get 1 flavor at a time. (my fault) Lots of topping options were available and are unlimited for a small flat fee. With the great service we experienced, it will bring me back for a visit again soon. read more

The service is good, the yogurt is decent, and the toppings are plentiful! Plenty of seating and various options available. We tried the roasted almond and the original, and they were just okay. The roasted almond missed the mark, wouldn't recommend. The original was delicious! The pineapple tasted spoiled. The mochi bits were great tho! It was very quiet when we got here. Had an absolutely amazing experience at this Pinkberry! Came here with a friend on a weekday evening after dinner and ordered a small cup of the Plain Tart frozen yogurt, with fruity pebbles and rainbow sprinkles as toppings. Even the small size was super filling and so worth it! My friend ordered the hazelnut frozen yogurt and enjoyed it as well. What made my experience here extra wonderful was definitely the service. My friend and I sat at a table inside and hung out here for a long time while eating our yogurts. It was nice and spacious and very clean. Without asking, one of the employees here came over to our table and generously brought us two cups of iced water after we had been here for a while! She was so kind and thoughtful and I really appreciated this, especially since we had already finished our yogurt at that point. Throughout our long hangout there, I noticed how friendly and welcoming they were to every person who walked in during our entire time there. I made sure to go add a cash tip to the tip jar right before we left. Cannot thank you enough for the caring, excellent service here! If you've never been to a Pinkberry, they sell frozen yogurt, and it's tangier than other frozen yogurts I've eaten. I did not know that their "original" flavor is not vanilla until now. They only list 4-5 flavors on their board. So you pick the flavor(s) you want, the size, and toppings. The small size is enough for me. I chose mango and pomegranate the last two times. Mr. Lee, who I suspect is the owner, asks what toppings and loads it up as much as the cup can handle. They also offer sugar cones. I preloaded funds on the Pinkberry app. I recommend downloading the app because you get a free one, with toppings, on your birthday. The place is clean. Because it's winter, there hasn't ever been anyone else in the shop. Don't know how busy it gets during the summer months. read more

Pinkberry located in downtown Long Beach yogurt place right by Pine and second Street and Broadway second Pine and Broadway anyway this location has yogurt fresh I tried the peach look like baby food but it was yummy very delicious there big big big in some items but different different tastes different choices not a big selection with different choices toppings well they really didn't have good topping choices I enjoyed what I had pricing was OK they do have different sizes of yogurt you can choose which is a different I still prefer the other competition parking is not that easy to get to here and well that's OK read more

my favorite pink berry location is the one in glendale on hyperion ave but came to this one bc it's a little closer to home but there was not much to choose from and very little of whatever was left. no chocolate crunch :( would never come back to this location! my party only got about 2-3 toppings each since we didnt have much options. i got peanut m&ms but ended up taking them off bc they look old. we didn't realize there wasn't much topping options till we had already ordered our yogurts and felt bad telling the guy never mind we don't want it. visit was 9/4 @7:55pm. only thing i liked about this store was the apple pay option. this store can definitely use an upgrade on toppings. not worth my 26$. read more

Am I the only person on the planet that's hasn't tried pinkberry? PINKBERRY is located in downtown Long Beach on a very busy one way street. The shop is small clean and the staff seem friendly enough. I sampled coconut, pomegranate, and regular. I immediately made a sour face all three flavors had a slight buttermilk like tart flavor and it wasn't good at all I'm being kind calling it nasty. But riddle this for me batman why does sour tasting yogurt make people happy? I just don't get it this place is packed everyone in here loves this stuff. But it's healthy Shawn they say let your pallet enjoy it. I say healthy my A... It's nasty! Give me a cold stones custard, thrifty' ice cream heck give me a pint of Ben and jerry's. It's just my humble opinion and for the people who love these flavors and toppings my daughter is included it's all for you I'm over it. I chose chocolate hazelnut It was light and creamy with a subtle chocolate hazelnut flavor and was truly delicious. The topping for my yogurt. I added mochi and jelly candies the mochi had a strange flavor I can't figure out the taste and it was chewy. I don't hate it but I didn't like either. I ordered another chocolate hazelnut and added candy by Maria Sharpova and regular sour patch candy this one was for my daughter who has now Informed me she is not eating sweets for awhile now I'm stuck with two cups. Lol My take on pinkberry Although I think chocolate hazelnut is delicious I feel this place is too trendy for me don't get me wrong they have fresh fruit toppings, cute little candies, mochi, cookie toppings fancy flavors and more but.... This is the best Pinkberry in So Cal in my opinion, mostly because of the folks who work there. The daytime lead Miguel is so nice, personable and is a saint with what seems like endless patience for some of the crazy clientele. Pinkberry is by far my FAVORITE soft serve yogurt! I personally like Pinkberry more than Yogurtland and all the other places. The texture is very rich and creamy. I feel like its more towards the tarty side. I'm not crazy about the different flavor selections. I like the simple plain tart here. The parking may be difficult due to meter parking only. Other than that, I love Pinkberry! read more

I got the strawberry banana smoothie and it didn't disappoint, after maybe 14-20 minutes it gets watery at the bottom so best to hurry and make the most of it. And I also got an original tart yogurt (medium) (5 toppings) with mango boba, strawberry boba, coconut, kiwi, and strawberry. The boba was bursting fyi!, quick and easy service and make sure to ask for a lid, very useful because eating all that can take some time. read more

It was good, but couldn't finish it since it would not survive the walk back. Next time, would get a darker chocolate based ice cream to go with the decent vanilla-flavored cookies. While I was eating the sandwich inside in the small eating area, noticed the next customers waiting for their funnel cake to be made. Thinking that would be a great choice, especially topped with the variety of ice cream flavors available.

The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!
