Was craving some dessert so thought to stop here. I use to come here as a kid with my mom. So my experience is literally based on price and food quality. I don't think a cookie and a funnel cake is worth 25 dollars. Which I shared with a friend. The customer service was okay. It has a Long Beach staple feeling to it being that it's in downtown. But I think overall you could find better desserts places for a better price and quality but if you're feeling nostalgic getting a funnel cake for old time sakes go for it .

If you are a funnel cake lover, The Funnel House is an absolute must visit. From the moment you walk up, the experience is seamless, the ordering process is fast, easy, and efficient. What really stands out right away is the huge selection. There are so many tempting options that choosing just one can be surprisingly difficult (but in the best way possible). Now for the star of the show, the funnel cake itself. This is, without a doubt, the best funnel cake I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside while staying incredibly soft and chewy on the inside, it hits that ideal texture balance that's hard to find. It honestly surprised my husband and I when we took our first bite. We did not expect such a delight. The toppings are also generously portioned. Having tried funnel cakes at countless festivals and fairs, this one truly stands above the rest. If you're craving a classic treat done exceptionally well, this is the place to go. Must try!

This is one of a few places where you can get a funnel cake in southern California. One at Knotts berry farm, Orange County fair and this place. This place is an assembly line! You can get a churro and funnel cakes with toppings! All is delicious. Workers are nice. Prices is a above average. But you get what you pay for. Treats are deliciously good. It will sooth your sweet tooth. This is a place to go! Come by the Shoreline if you are in the area!

The snacks at The Funnel House are delicious. Enjoyed our funnel cake and the jouse made churro was fantastic. The out door area was clean and nice. The staff were friendly

Got the churro here and I liked the texture, but a little interesting tasting for a churro. The dough was pretty spiced and my friend said it reminded her of Indian spices. Regardless, it was still a decent churro. This also was $7, which was not worth it for a churro lol

Service is great, you have plenty of friendly teens, walking around, making the funnel cakes, filling the drinks. The ambience is real nice. You have a seating area right by the boardwalk and with shade. The cookies are really good! We tried the chocolate chip and seriously it's so fluffy and tastes homemade. Their toppings are excellent. Their jam is made in house. The only reason I gave four stars is because the funnel cake itself gets really chewy. It's made to order but when they get busy they just make as many as they can

The funnel cake and ice cream get 4 stars from me. The portion was big enough for 2 people to share. A bit overpriced, yes. There were a moderate amount of toppings and ice cream flavors to choose from...not that impressive. What was disappointing was that we came here over another spot because of the free churro with $15 purchase offer from Yelp. Even after I showed it to 2 employees, they refused to honor it, saying, "We don't really keep up with what's on Yelp." They weren't rude, but it's bad business, especially when there are so many other dessert options in the area. Just based on that, I wouldn't return.

Located in the Shoreline Village shopping center on the pier . Make sure to pay for parking at one of the metered kiosk or download the App ( Passport) . My GF and I after we walked around the pier we were dragged in by the sweet aroma for some funnel cake & churro, funnel cake made fresh to order. Grab your favorite sweets of Churros, funnel cakes , cookies, ice cream, coffee and cold drinks sit by the pier in the public lounge and star gaze while relaxing listening to the ocean waves hitting against the dock.

First of all...when did they start making cookies lighter than a cloud but sturdy enough to hold onto? We had chocolate chip cookies, M&M cookies and a churro 10/10 for everything. I was mad the next day that I don't live in Long Beach and that I didn't get two dozen. If you're down in Long Beach I highly suggest treating your tastebuds. They will thank you for it... You're welcome!

I always come here with people to share with and we still do too much. We got our funnel cake with strawberry topping and ice cream. Delicious, but I always fail to simply get the cake itself which is my favorite part. Conviniently located in Shoreline Village, you can walk up and order and enjoy your dessert at one of the benches or tables nearby as they don't have seating inside. It's directly across from the ice cream shop, so just know you have all the optionsss. lol

You can never go wrong with delicious funnel cakes! This place is open late and it's near the beach. The staff are friendly and they're always playing good music. There is minimal seating inside but a lot of tables outside. Funnel cakes are made to-order and they have a lot of different ice cream flavors to choose from. You do have to pay for parking but you can also try to find street parking and take a short stroll to the location.

I love this funnel cake spot. I found this spot a while ago and have frequented it every once in awhile. It's hard to find a good funnel cake and I crave it sometimes when there aren't any carnivals happening around me. It's a little expensive but the portions somewhat makeup for it, you can feed maybe 3-4 with it. The vibes with the employees were really good a while back, they were nice, attentive, and brought good energy but recently the service has been kind of lacking. They talk amongst themselves and don't acknowledge you when you ask for something they just do it, which I found a little odd.

Young teens running the shop. Churros are doughy, extremely under done in the center. The funnel cake was the same.

Do you have gluten free options?

Our funnel cakes are not gluten free. But we have ice cream, frozen yogurt (available at our business next door) and slushees that are.

    Do you have vegan options?

Thanks for your question. Our funnel cakes and other baked goods do have eggs in our recipes. We do bake all items on site from scratch so we know all the ingredients! I would suggest that you visit our Ice Cream & Yogurt shop On The Boardwalk…

This time was mid-week so we didn't have trouble getting in for lunch. We sat on the lovely patio and it was a beautiful day. Service was quick, helpful and friendly. The menu was great and our food was delicious. We ordered a few pastries and a Matcha inside before we were seated on the patio for lunch. My Caesar salad was good but my pasta was so great. I had the Casarecce and it tasted so fresh and light. Asparagus, pine nuts and lemon was the perfect combination. I was told they make their pasta from scratch daily with organic dough and without the use of machines. It did not disappoint. (After visiting Italy last year and tasting the difference between American pasta and Italian pasta, this place hit the spot.) From the service to the location to the delicious food, this place is a hit.

This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.
