Walked in on a Saturday night around 10pm. There was a line but not too long, street parking is difficult to find- I did drive around twice since I didn't want to park in the public parking. Very friendly staff and cute paintings. We ordered banana royal cone and burnt caramel. They have unique flavors and give samples as well. The banana royal was creamy, banana flavor with nuts and pieces of waffle cone. Not overly sweet, very good! Burnt caramel was creamy as well and great caramel flavor. This cute ice cream shop is in downtown Long Beach and a short walk from the Aquarium. There's lots of art on the walls that make it welcoming along with the friendly staff. Friends who are local to the area suggested coming and it was delightful. There was a seasonal key lime that's a collab with a local bakery that was super refreshing. The signature saltine would be in my go to if I lived nearby. The surprising scoop that I got was the fennel that was at the suggestion of one of my friends. It didn't taste licorice like and was so good that I would up getting it as my third of a mini scoop trio. I'd love to go back and make sure I have a freezer bag to buy pints next time! read more

Honestly I've been here a couple of times and this last time had the worst customer service Ever!!! The girl that was working here when I came was yelling at the customers to close the door which is fine but she was yelling and seemed to hate it when I came in with 3 kids asking for samples!! Tyler was incredibly knowledgeable about each of the unique made-in-house flavors and his passion for the business model was infectious. Despite my allegiance to frozen yogurt primarily because of the option for toppings, the rich and silky smooth flavors of the oolong, Thai tea, and the Crispy Mallow were HEAVENLY. Been a while since I've been here but since I was in the area, decided to bring some friends by. There was easy parking on the street which isn't always the case so I was happy about that. I was surprised that it wasn't too busy but maybe it's cuz it was a bit of a chillies day. The girls that worked there didn't seem very happy but they helped us taste flavors and gave samples. They have some interesting and obscure flavors but they're not nonsensical or pretentious like you'd find at a spot like Salt & Straw. I most recently had two seasonal flavors: Amarula Guava and and Banana Bread Chai. They were both delicious and we even took a pint of the latter home. This spot is super cute and fits in well in its downtown location. I appreciate that there's posters and other advertisements for local events. Lastly, I've always had friendly service here. There were several outdoor tables on the sidewalk, a couple more inside, and some high tables where you could stand and eat your ice cream. I came here on a Sunday afternoon after the shop had just opened. I received good, friendly service. I sampled a few flavors before choosing my scoops of ice cream. One scoop cost $6.75 and one scoop with split flavors cost the same as well. So, it was a no-brainer for me to get multiple flavors. I ordered one scoop split flavors of Black Ring Coffee and Cashew Fennel Chip. Both the flavors were good. The Coffee one was my most favorite. The texture of the Cashew one was a bit on the dry side (crumbly for a lack of better word) as opposed to being creamy and smooth. But regardless of that, I enjoyed the two flavors. I chatted a bit with the two staff members that were present during my visit. This shop was a good find as I was looking for dessert options after my brunch. I recommend checking out this shop. I think they have excellent ice cream selections. The texture is great every time I visit. My ultimate favorite is their Saltine Dream which used to be LB Crack. They have excellent customer service and they work quickly. I like that you can buy a pint chip and use it to redeem for a pint of ice cream at a later date.
