Im late on this, I came here a couple months ago. I was in the area and searched for some ice cream. A trusted friend always posts this place (thanks, Alana) so I had to try it They have a private parking lot The workers are so friendly They do have limited flavors in my opinion. But they have basics and total HITS like Burnt caramel and whiskey vanilla. They have an amazing butter cake. You can even take it home and bake it. On the day I came they had pumpkin butter cake, vanilla butter cake and churro butter cake to take home and bake yourself (it's in a very big container) Or, with the option I went with. I got a small already baked piece of butter cake with ice cream on it. Pure heaven. Also got a root beer float with whiskey vanilla scoops inside They had some free water that you serve yourself. But also other drinks for sale. A couple tables inside The atmosphere was cute and I was greeted right away. I wish I remembered their names. But everyone was A+ Definitely come here if you love butter cake PS they have dairy free and vegan options
Imma keep this review short because I think it speaks for itself. Long Beach Creamery is the place my wife and I go after an emotional therapy session. The staff are always so friendly, the samples are flowing, and the flavor is exploding. Thanks for being the pick me up we need, LBC.
Tried a few new flavors for our Father's Day visit! The shop was busy, fairly long line, but the staff gave each customer personalized, friendly and helpful service. We tried a few samples and ordered a couple of split scoops and double scoops. Delicious and quality ingredients. Hubby's new favorite is Saltine Dream! The month's choices -peach melba with raspberry and key lime pie were lovely; I only wish there was more key lime pie bits in my scoop. I also love that we earn points on our purchases toward discounts or merch.
They did it again! Decided to come to this location on their anniversary and wow were we blown away with their may flavors. I tried the cashew turtle and I think I found my new favorite flavor of ice cream. Truly if it had marshmallows I would have been in heaven. But it didn't need it to be so good. It's the perfect balance of chocolate caramel and a hint of vanilla. The walnuts aren't for everyone but I love nut inclusions. My only regret is getting only one scoop. My parter not the birthday bash. He was hesitant since it had blueberry but boy was he blown away too. You don't taste the blueberry. If anything. It adds such a beautiful essence from it that it tones down the birthday cake flavor to such a tasty experience. The service was great. They let us try all our favorite flavors and the best part was that for the anniversary they had a spinning wheel. Made the place feel so fun! Today you got to spin with any purchase and we landed on the free pint chip! Can't wait to come back and use it! They even tried to improve the ambiance by cleaning the outside and boy did it make a difference! Thank you for always making the best ice cream in Long Beach!
Super cute spot in the heart of downtown Long Beach area. I had the caramel crunch and it was amazing! They were a bit skimpy on the portions though.... Ngl, so knocked off one star, but free toppings! Would I be back? Yes. They sell pints and other desserts as well. Service was good and parking wasn't too hard to find on a Sunday... meter parking is free.
Ice cream made fresh. Service was great and you can taste all the flavors of you like. There is seating outdoors for you to enjoy your cream. Small lot in strip plaza to park as well as neighboring street parking.
Can't believe I've lived in Long Beach for six months without learning about their local creamery! Love the mom-and-pop parlor feel of the establishment; the server behind the counter was super friendly and walked me through their selection (including vegan and gluten-free options!), and allowed me as many samplings as I wanted. They have some local favorites such as the Saltine Dream and Burnt Caramel, along with a rotation of seasonal flavors, all made in-house. After much deliberation and taste testing, I ultimately decided to go with one of their seasonal specials the Cookie Dough, vanilla based and generous with chunks of their homemade cookie dough that are actually the base for their cookies. Long Beach Creamery is located near Bixby Knolls off Long Beach Blvd, and there's usually free parking spots off of their lot. The indoors is small but there's plenty of outdoor seating, for you to enjoy your scoop (or two). I drove back with my cup hoping to enjoy it at home, but have to be honest, I finished it before I even pulled into my garage.
I love that they have a single scoop but you can get 2 flavors. The girl working that day with the glasses was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant willing to help. The ice cream was really good and tasted homemade and of good quality. The place inside was clean and very cute! I will be back
I was debating with my wife whether Long Beach Creamery is better than Handle's ice cream. After savoring the Pecan Delight and the Goat Cheese Whiskey Fig, the verdict was delivered. Long Beach Creamery now reigns supreme to all the ice cream establishments in Long Beach. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly, and you could tell that they love being there and delivering the best ice cream experience for the clients. It's impossible to leave this place without a smile on your face and sweet stickiness on your lips.
Tasty, no frills ice cream on a hot day. Went after lunch for some sweets - never disappointed. Had two of their monthly flavors this time around. But would always recommend their fennel chip!

They make their own cookies, not no Oreo, it's much better by 10 folds. You won't regret getting it. Also big fan of their midnight oolong (very decadent and chocolately) and saltine dream. If you can decide on flavors - you can do 1 scoop split or even a mini trio -- a win win.
I've driven pass this place many times and said I will come here when I want ice cream. This place does not disappoint. You can sample every ice cream if you want to. I sampled one and it's the one I got. Cookie butter! I loved it. It tastes so good. But the churro butter cake was the real winner. I loved it so much. Even though I could've gotten another slice I did not because now I have to come back to get it hehe. The service is great. I beat the traffic because about 20-30 customers came in right after me. Good for this place. It's definitely got the family vibe to it. I like the outdoor seating. I will see you again shortly my new friend. Stop reading this and get you some ice cream now!
This ice cream is good but not memorable. It's made in house and pretty decent random flavors. The main thing is that the servings are so small. Probably because they weigh the ice cream. I don't know how that calculates at the end. The girl serving us was very helpful and friendly. We figured out what we wanted to order after some testers. Each scoop is $7 and $11 for two scoops.

Service - 5 stars. Sampling without judgement. Thanks! Vibe - love supporting local creameries. They are the best and this one is no exception Flavors - I love the variety and nothing said "balsamic vinegar" or "spiced goat cheese." Don't get me wrong. LBC has very unique flavors. After 4 samples and fun conversation with the staff, I ultimately settled on a trio of: - Banana King Cone. It has soy, gluten, and nuts. But this might be the best banana ice cream I've had because it doesn't taste artificially banana-ey. Organic banana ice cream loaded with chocolate coated sugar cone pieces and roasted peanuts. - Biscuits and Jam. Stone fruit jam swirled into vanilla ice cream with toasted biscuit chunks. - Saltine Dream. Organic vanilla ice cream loaded with caramelized saltine crackers dipped in chocolate and a rich fudge swirl. The banana ice cream was the best I've had, but my favorite in the flavor trip was the saltine Dream. Excellent flavor with excellent texture. Winner of the night. Recommend this place! They have their own parking lot. Limited outside seating. Super friendly staff. So glad my flight was delayed so I could explore. read more

Been saying over and over, "We need to try this place!" and it finally happened! I ordered the Midnight Oolong, which looks like it would be chocolate flavored, but I was told it has coffee in it as well. My boyfriend's sister ordered a scoop of the coffee flavor. We both got one scoop each, and the portions were huge, one scoop was definitely enough for us! They also let you sample flavors, which is really helpful if you're having trouble deciding. Everyone was super kind, the scoops were generous, and the space itself was nice and spacious. There isn't really seating inside, but there are a couple of tables outside. As we were leaving, my boyfriend's sister accidentally dropped her cup, and they were so sweet about helping her get another scoop. We can't wait to come back! It's so close to us, and I can't believe it took us this long to finally try it. read more

We love Long Beach Creamery! For this trip we ordered a split a scoop of buttercake and amerula guava. It was love at first taste! The flavors are perfectly balanced. Each ingredient was skillfully highlighted. LB Creamery doesn't mess around! The serving staff is so knowledgeable about all the flavors and are so patient as you sample your way through their display case. I love this local small business and will continue to support them even when I'm 40 miles away! Thank you for always serving up the very best ice cream around! read more

The eggnog cognac ice cream was genuinely excellent--rich, smooth, and easily one of the best seasonal flavors I've had. It's the main reason this review isn't lower. I was especially looking forward to this visit because I hadn't had ice cream in almost two years and was hoping for a well-rounded, enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, that was overshadowed by the customer service. The gentleman helping us was snarky and dismissive. I understand that the alcohol is burned off in the ice cream, but asking a follow-up question about whether the whiskey vanilla had any remaining alcohol content shouldn't be met with attitude. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. The ice cream itself was great, but the interaction made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. The behavior took away from what should have been a special treat, and it ultimately ruined the experience. I hope the service improves, because the product truly deserves better. read more

Just on service alone, this place gets an automatic 5 star. I was immediately greeted upon walking in and told right away that there is unlimited samples. Not only that, but I was given detailed descriptions for each of the ice creams I tried. Both workers at the front were like this for every party. The ice creams itself is SO GOOD! I had the Cabernet brownie and the Love Potion No. 9. Both were delicious. The Cabernet and brownie flavors mixed so well together. And the Love Potion No. 9 was equally as good! I will definitely be back to try the rest of the flavors! The shop is small but has a great outdoor seating section. The parking lot is on the smaller side but there is ample street parking right next to it. read more

Great unique flavors, some of my favorite is burnt caramel, strawberry mascarpone and chocolate. The saltine dream is one of their most popular flavors. I take my family here almost every week. $6+ per scoop, but it's quality ice cream. Friendly staff. Small parking lot but street parking available. Seats outside so it's dog friendly. read more
Cute little ice cream shop in Long Beach. Had a rotating menu of unique flavors, as well as a standard menu of signatures. Loved their burnt caramel ice cream, and this month they have a strawberry marscapone that was also really good! And don't even get me started on their waffle bowls - crisp, crunchy, fresh, and soooo worth it. Love that it keeps things mess free! read more

Gosh all the years I've passed this creamery and never stopped by really upsets me ! Was craving ice cream and thought I should try something new and they did not disappoint! Long Beach creamery located in a very very small plaza along 3 or 4 other businesses, with a parking lot right smack on lbc Blvd and like San Antonio , can't miss it creamery is the one at the very end. It seems they are daily making flavors , this is no ordinary creamery they have selections of flavors you won't find anywhere else ! I selected the midnight oolong and another flavor that I forgot the name of but resembled a mint n chip type of style . YUM I really enjoyed both of the flavor along with the other ones I sampled ! Most of all I really enjoyed the service here ! Everyone was so nice the fella helping me pick out the flavors was so nice and patient on explains the flavors and the different notes on them ! Definitely a top notch creamery ! I will be coming by more often to try more flavors :) read more

Bomb. This place offers unique flavors, yet the flavor is on point. Came on a Sunday afternoon and my family and I were greeted and helped by somebody who helped us with samples--opted out for the lavender honey, which had a honey creamy vanilla with a hint of lavender. Fantastic. My wife had a chocolate sorbet, which is really for chocolate lovers. Impressed. My daughters had the Whisky Vanilla, and I was amazed by it. I tasted little hints of Jack Daniel's and vanilla cream. I assume the high vanilla flavor made it taste like whisky. I'm amazed. I'm glad it's only 5 minutes away from my house. We'll be back, for sure! read more

Feom whatni understood they are all random. We never know in advance

They are rotating. The place has some staple flavors that are not vegan that are staples/always offered. One of the flavors is Long Beach Crack and another one is a vanilla flavor.
