This employee is always so cheap probably the manager. The toppings are small and minimal if you say a little more he automatically says "I charge extra". I hate to come in here and he's the one serving it always the same thing I've told him several times that out of all the locations he's the cheapest one. It's not a good swirl unless it's the way you want. I don't mind paying extra I could totally afford the .75 cents but he's no fun. Strict and stiff. I can't believe I'm reviewing a Pinkberry What's even more surprising is I'm giving it four stars I feel like such a chump To be completely honest, I used to despise PB. I tried it once many years ago when I still lived in the SGV and I thought it sucked. Then my wife (back then she was still just my girlfriend) and I moved to Downtown Long Beach and right across the street from our place, literally 40 yards, was a PB. I went almost 6 months before even stepping foot in there. What first drove me into this PB was I wanted to try their pumpkin yogurt. I liked it a lot. It was not the best pumpkin yogurt I ever tasted (that title belongs to Golden Spoon) but it was still really tasty. Then the pumpkin went away so my business there did as well. Then, one day not too long ago I saw they were carrying watermelon yogurt. I went and got a sample and I was immediately hooked. What I loved most about this yogurt was all the watermelon toppings. Besides the Watermelon yogurt I also added real watermelon pieces and fresh, homemade watermelon puree. This yogurt was so refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. About a month ago they came out with salted caramel yogurt. This treat was both sweet and salty, which is a combo I adore. Then, about three weeks ago, my good friend and fellow sweets lover, Michelle T, texted me early one morning that PB was now serving a peanut butter and jelly yogurt. Well, I jumped out of bed, got dressed and headed straight to PB. I got there ten min after they opened and I purchased a small PB&J yogurt. MY GOODNESS! This was one of the best tasting yogurts I have ever tasted. The PB yogurt was so sweet and salty and it was topped with lots of organic strawberry jam and toasted bread crumbs. I have had many, many PB&J treats in my time. I've had things like PB&J cupcakes, pies, milkshakes, ice cream, cookies, cakes, etc but PB's PB&J yogurt is the closest thing I have tasted that tastes exactly like a PB&J sandwich. That night I ended up going back and ordering a large one. It was divine. This PB looks like all the other PB's out there. The folks who work at this particular location are all super friendly and always smiling. I still can't believe PB won me over. I always talked so much trash about PB's. I'm still not a fan of their regular, everyday flavors but their specials rock. I'm going to be devastated when their PB&J yogurt gets taken off the market. Maybe because I haven't tried their actual chocolate flavor? It's not that deep, rich "IN YOH FACE" kind of choco flavor, so I guess that's why it's called choco milk and not just choco. Plain: Always a good go-to flavor if you can't decide on anything. Tart, yet sweet...simple, but delicious. Strawberry-banana smoothie: A bit overpowering on the banana, and they had to use fro-yo instead of ice, as they ran out of ice (I guess that makes it a shake?) It came out very watery so it was more of a strawberry-banana milk kinda drink. I wish they didn't put syrups in it and focused more on putting frozen fruit, but alas, it is what it is. Flavor was oooooookay..just too much banana with a hint of strawberry syrup. Overall, it's a good place to come for a snack to satisfy your sweet cravings. Went to Pinkberry last night to satisfy my wife's sugar itch. The workers were very upbeat and helpful. They filled our bowl so full of the froyo that we could barely get any toppings on it. They did their absolute best to jam as many toppings on there as possible, but it was a tiny bit disappointing when we couldn't get all the toppings we were hoping for. Maybe I got lucky on my visit. Compared to all the other reviews I've read about crappy customer service or rude employees, my experience was incredibly different. I went in there last Saturday to check it out since I'd been craving something desert like for awhile. The employee who greeted me was always smiling and helpful. She gave me multiple samples of the new flavors they had out. The store itself was very clean. I experience overall was very pleasing. However, I'm not a big fan of the limited choices in yogurt though. I like there to be a variety of different flavors, rather than just 4 or 5. Also, I prefer the self-serve kind of places. That way, I can get as much as I like and don't mind weighing it and paying a little extra for it. Other than that, this place is pretty good. I'll definitely be stopping in again. read more

I love Pinkberry! The original flavor is beyond incredible and doesn't require any toppings! Another great aspect is the take home size. $10 for a 25oz jug. After I eat an entire jug, I'm full and happy. My wife and I visit Pinkberry at least 5 times a week as the prices are right and the taste of the frozen yogurt is outstanding. My suggestion: try the original flavor and the pomegranate with no toppings. They do have a nice selection of toppings if that's your thing, but I recommend enjoying without any toppings. And for all the husbands out there- if you want to put a smile on your wife's face, grab a 25oz take home jug for $10. It's a win every time read more
