I like coming here because the ice cream taste great combined with the fish shaped waffles that can have Nutella filled inside of them. I would place my order directly with a cashier because the self service kiosk seems to usually have a delay... This place always crowded and is loud with all the chattering going on.

Somi Somi is so yummy! Not only do they have the cutest presentation with the waffle fish, macaron, and fruit but the flavors are delicious too. My personal favorites are the cookies n cream and Ube twist. Don't forget to pair your ice cream with a tasty stuffing. I love to get the Nutella filling. This place is always busy but it makes sense, because the vibe is inviting, quick service, and the in steam cuteness factor. The shop has a few photo opp areas. Don't forget to snap your creation and share with your friends and family!

We visited on a Friday afternoon and it was empty. The cashier was also serving the ice cream. There aren't any chairs so you need to stand up to eat your ice cream. Every thing looks very clean. We ordered the cookies & cream & ube with nutella filling. It was good.

Nice establishment with a trendy vibe. I enjoyed the blended texture of the soft serve and the warm waffle. Although there's not a huge variety of ice cream flavors, there's a lot of different combinations that can be made with customizations

After a day of strolling, we decided to visit Somisomi and finally try it. We ordered via their kiosk, which was quick and easy. They offer soft serve ice cream with Taiyaki fish-shaped waffles w/ fillings and toppings, plus drinks like milk tea and cold brew. Today, we went for simple ice cream -- matcha for me, milk for Izzy. It was delicious, but we couldn't finish it. The plain waffle complemented the ice cream well. The little guy loved it and even made a video. Lol Restroom on site and no place to sit just fyi.

Such a great sweet treat! All the ice cream flavored are great and the taiyaki is crispy and sweet. I love the custard and matcha fillings for the Taiyako. The inside is cute and IG worthy. Every time I have gone I had to order in a kiosk but the service is fast and the girls making the treats are nice.

I'm so happy there's a Somisomi in Bixby! It's on the busy part of Atlantic, so you can just walk there for a sweet treat after indulging on yummy ramen or sushi from down the street. What I love about this place is that the soft serve isn't too sweet! (Isn't that the ultimate compliment for dessert nowadays?) It's a clean, very casual establishment with only standing room available to chow down on your treats. My go-to order is the Upside down Ah Boong (the goldfish shaped waffle cone) with Nutella or custard filling. You can't go wrong with any of their soft serve flavors, but my favorite is Ube! They have rotating flavors, like swirl of the week or flavors based on location, so keep that in mind. I'm so excited to try their banana pudding flavor!

Second time giving this a try sooooo slow they need more staff or atleast staff in the front getting orders in sucks it's a Saturday night at 7:30p should be trying to get business!!

SomiSomi is a fun, casual spot to get ice cream. I wouldn't say that the ice cream is very good, but it is fun. The real highlight here is the taiyaki, which is a fish-shaped pancake that you can fill with various things, like custard, nutella, and more. They are made with a batter that is crisp on the outside and very chewy on the inside. You can get a whole box of different flavors to try, which is what I did, and it may be the best way to try all of the different fillings.

I went here on June 7, 2024 at night. It was for dessert after dinner. I ordered the matcha ah boong. Matcha ice cream was tasty and pretty cold. I chose Oreo crumbs for the topping and I liked the texture with the ice cream. The filling might've been Nutella or I didn't choose a filling. It took around 15 minutes to get it because it was pretty busy. It sucks that they don't accept cash. Maybe it's because they don't have a cash drawer. There was music playing in a speaker. It was pretty bright inside.

Great experience. I'm usually iffy about places with multiple locations, but this one was really cool when I visited. Quick and efficient, and I got exactly what I wanted. They put together my order nicely and it was really good. Not too sweet, just right. Pretty solid location.

This treat is filling. Like dinner in a cup. Everything is thought out- from the filling options to the toppings- to the waiting area with counter tops. It's easy to order, and although it can get busy, the line moves quickly. Ambiance is casual and neat. Staff is friendly. It's a must try!

Cookies and cream with matcha swirl and 5 taiyakis. Delicious!

Stopped by Somisomi right after eating next door for a quick dessert, and it was the perfect choice. I got the cookies and cream with matcha swirl soft serve and 5 taiyakis -- everything was delicious. The taiyakis were soft, warm, and freshly made, which made the ice cream combo even better. The cookies and cream with matcha swirl was such a good mix of flavors -- sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The interior felt warm and welcoming, and Celeste was very helpful, friendly, and fast. She made the whole experience smooth! Definitely a great spot for dessert!

Ambiance is pretty relaxed, you get your usuals or people new to KBBQ. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, happy to explain anything so you don't have to be a KBBQ pro to dine here. The service is good, better when it's busier since they check in more frequently. When it's slower you may have less check-in's from the staff, probably due to less staff during slower hours. There IS parking in the rear but the spaces can be kind of tight so finding parking truly depends on the time of day you go. Overall, I am never disappointed here and I recently brought someone here who wasn't a fan of KBBQ and this experience won him over. I even got promised to be brought back again! Definitely worth making a visit, highly recommend.

The parking is hard since it's in the area of Long Beach with lots of condos, so you are fighting to find a place. Once we got inside we noticed it was empty, not a soul in sight except the cashier. We ordered a hainan chicken and a bowl of chicken noodle with ground noodle (sub egg noodle). They only offered dark meat or ground chicken, kind of sad as a chicken place. The broth was not rich and the chicken on the drier side. The pieces did not look like it came from the same chicken (usually it'll form the shape of whatever they cut up, but presentation was not their strong suit). The sauces for the hainan was on the saltier side and not as good as other places. The rice... Did they not throw in broth for it to cook? I did not taste much chicken flavor. The noodles, it's intended to be on the blander side, that's fine. The noodle though... It was as if they could've cooked a bit longer, they seemed to stick together and was not quite al dente so I stirred them around for about a minute to break it apart. Ground chicken, nothing special to season it with, at least it did not have chicken stench. Lastly, the door was left open, the amount of flies coming in was a lot. It was off putting. The neighborhood does not appear friendly or safe as the front door was boarded up. Also a sign saying there is no cash here (implying lots of robberies/burglers). I don't like giving low ratings, but the reviews for this place weren't... Convinencing.
