I finally tried this place after walking past dozens of times. It's a small dessert spot that specializes in chocolate treats and dessert crepes. They also have random candies which seem out of place but it must sell. The place is small and kind of cute inside. And the person working the counter was so super friendly and sweet. I tried the chocolate covered strawberries, the s'mores bite, peanut butter bite, and chocolate krispie type bite and all were very tasty. My fave hands down was that s'mores concoction. It was a perfect chocolaty treat. Those strawberries were pretty good too. If you're a chocolate lover you know what to do.
We got the fruit platter, and it instantly reminded us of a similar experience we had on our trip to London. Such a sweet vibe from the moment you walk in, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely made the experience even better!
Dubai Chocolate strawberry waffle cone was so good! Chocolate was rich and creamy, the strawberries were sweet and the pistachio cream was next level. 10/10 would come again!

Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I was craving chocolate and strawberries and was at LBX so I decided it was time to try Chocolate Bash. I ordered the chocolate strawberry cup and was hoping it would be similar to the viral chocolate strawberry cup from Borough Market in London. Unfortunately at Chocolate Bash they use chocolate shell, not chocolate syrup, which wasn't clear when ordering. All that lovely chocolate hardened into a weird chocolate prison surrounding the strawberries in the cup. Unlike a chocolate covered strawberry, where you get a nice crispy thin layer of chocolate, this resulted in clumps of overly thick chocolate which completely separated from the strawberries. It was impossible to get a balanced bite. The strawberries themselves were nice and ripe, which was a plus, but overall this just didn't work as a dish.

The sundae was good, but I wish there had been a better ice cream-to-brownie ratio as it primarily consisted of brownie chunks. Overall, Chocolate Bash was a valid one-and-done experience, and I'd recommend it if you're in the area looking for a chocolate-flavored dessert.

Sweet treat mode activated. Chocolate bash saved me by being open late. I ended up ordering their rolled crepes with Nutella and strawberries with Ferrero rocher. Straight fire. gasolina. My entire mouth was filled and stuck with Nutella. It was a dream tho. They gave me about 6 strawberries, 8 rolled crepes and each one had the Ferrero rocher piece inside of it. It was my dream of hazelnut and chocolate fantasy. I do not even want to know the calories and sugar count on this sweet treat but this is like a once in a blue moon for me. For the cream puffs, it was Dubai chocolate style and it did not taste like Dubai chocolate at all. It was lackluster, and I wish it had more pistachio flavor to it. Pricing is up there, but so is the entire chocolate industry. I can't say I see myself coming back, but it was a great treat to try! You order on a screen. Their restroom wasn't working at the time I visited. It's a nice sized spot with seating outside as well.
There are 2 self kiosk stations to order your desserts. There were so many options that it took us a bit to order. We got two shakes and a chocolate covered strawberry. Located in an outdoor plaza across from the Hangar, parking is a shared lot and there are a lot of spaces available. The interior looked like ice cream with the walls looking like chocolate fudge dripping down. Very cute. There are a few long tables that are great for groups and if you are just a party of two, there are some smaller tables outside or you share the larger tables with other people. The service was fast and nice. He gave me an extra strawberry for free, that was very nice of him. I tipped them before placing my order. Restroom requires a code and to show the numbers, you must press the finger scanner on the top. It was a single room that is wheelchair accessible.
Came for the Dubai strawberry cup. It looked amazing and with this variation being a hit on social media, it was an easy choice to check out Chocolate Bash. The kiosk is convenient to order but I wasn't sure the cup was going to come out exactly as I had in mind-it was easier to order at the counter. We were with friends and grabbed a seat to enjoy our goodies. I must admit, I was mostly underwhelmed. The strawberries were frozen and weren't sweet at all. For $17.99 I definitely expected better. Maybe the strawberries weren't in season and I may have to give it another go with something else on the menu. If I'm in the area again, I might make an attempt to try something else.
To my surprise, I really liked the Dubai strawberry cup. I thought it would be overly sweet. Since my sister is getting one, we shared a medium cup. The strawberries were sweet and the chocolate over it made it melt in my mouth. So yummy!! Wished they put more kanef over the dessert. Would I get it again for $15?... Yes! Located in the LBX, right next to Panini Grill. We skipped dessert after our meal and head over to Chocolate Bash!
Worst experience ever walked in waited for about five minutes. No one helped us. There is a tablet where you could order, but I'm old-school. I actually wanted to order in person since there was only one customer already eating and a few people in the back that never came out to help us. I will never be back anyways we walked to handles a few stores back. We received great service. LOL.
We got the crème puff selection! Oh my heavens. Talk about a treat! These mini puffs are perfect bite size to be able to taste each dipping sauce. Personal favorite is the pistachio. Staff is super friendly and I get a cavity every time I visit the shop. This place is like a mini piece of heaven!

Give Sha a raise :) On one of the hottest days of the year, this was probably one of the better decisions than waiting at handels next door. We got a Dubai strawberry shake and I was surprised because I was expecting something overly sweet. This hit the spot. Definitely good to share and doesn't taste artificial. read more

Staff is always friendly and I love coming in for their chocolate covered strawberries. They are fresh and always taste great! They also make a great gift! They have a variety of items on display and on the menu, I'm sure you will find something to your liking. There is seating inside if you want to enjoy the nice air conditioning during these warm days. read more

I recently visited Chocolate Bash at the Long Beach Exchange (LBX) with a couple of friends, curious to try the trending Dubai chocolate everyone's talking about. The shop is located in a busy shopping plaza with plenty of parking, and it was clearly a popular spot. The store was packed when we arrived. The inside felt a bit chaotic and it wasn't immediately clear who was taking orders. It seems like a family run business, which I appreciate, but the ordering process could use a little more structure. Thankfully, I used the self service tablet which made things much smoother. It helped they had photos too. My order was prepared quickly. I went with the strawberries dipped in Dubai chocolate and they were delicious. I definitely would order them again. My friends got ice cream and really enjoyed theirs as well. We also picked up a Dubai chocolate bar and it was super tasty. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the layout inside the store, even though there's outdoor seating the inside feels a bit cramped and could be more inviting, since it's in a trendy area, upgrading the space to make it more inviting, especially with updated walls and ceiling decor would definitely elevate experience. First time here - The Fruity Pebbles Shake was not too sweet. It was just the right amount of sweetness. Everything they added to it gave it good flavor. Service was good from the staff. Cute ambience also! Will come back for more! read more

I loved this place sooo much I came three times in a row!! Each time I got something different and I loved it all. Service was great, if they aren't busy with orders they take your order in the front otherwise they have 2-3 self order stands. My favorite was the chocolate covered Oreo and the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. I grabbed one every day! I don't usually eat this much chocolate but this one is actually sooooo good! When we ordered, it usually didn't take too long to get our orders to go. The inside was a bit dirty tho, especially the tables... but that's because there's people and kids in and out of there! I can't wait to be back in Long Beach so I can stop by here! read more
The first time I tried chocolate bash was through Uber eats and it was so good I craved it so much I went 2 days later and it was just as good if not better because the chocolate was still melted vs hard. I love that you can order via kiosk and they have tables and chairs to enjoy your sweet treats! But the last time I went in they didn't really add much chocolate or pistachio cream on my Dubai strawberry cup and I noticed prices went up which I totally understand because everything has gone up but couldn't enjoy it the same :/ read more

As I scanned the menu of all their delectable desserts I was amazed of all the chocolaty goodness in front of my eyes!! My son ordered me the chocolate covered strawberries! They were amazing! The strawberry was sweet and ripe and the chocolate was decadent!! The best of both worlds!! The shop is clean and well organized and the staff were really friendly! Stumbled across this dessert shop, and they have so many options! I couldn't decide what I wanted because so many things are right up my alley. I decided to go with something chocolaty, and chose the chocolate brownie sundae. This picture makes it seem like the sundae is really small, but actually it's pretty large and filling dessert. I only finished half, and I pretty much always finish my dessert.They stuffed the ice cream sundae with loads of brownie and cookie butter and it is absolutely delicious. Service was really friendly and prompt as well. This location sits conveniently in a strip mall with lots of good food, so it's a great spot for dessert after a meal. read more

Dessert from the desert? Fell for the hype and tried the Dubai Chocolate Shake--figured, hey, if I never make it to Dubai the country, at least I can say I tried a camel-worthy treat! I'm not usually big on pistachio ice cream, but since I do love pistachios, I gave it a shot. Expectations were in the middle of the desert--low and dry--but the shake was actually really, really good. Super creamy, full of tiny chocolate bits, and a cool twist on my usual flavor picks. The chilled chocolate stuck to the inside of the cup was surprisingly fun to scrape off--like a little reward at the end of a desert journey. Maybe that's part of the hype, but honestly - visually appealing. I'd ride my camel to Long Beach again for this oasis! read more

Finally found a place with the famous strawberry Dubai chocolate!! Sadly, I'd have to give it a 7/10 :/ the strawberries were huge which were plus points!! However, the chocolate just wasn't it. I would describe it as the chocolate you would put on ice cream when you were a kid? The one the hardens once it touches the cold ice cream?? I was expecting like decadent melt in your mouth chocolate?? Nonetheless, still edible!! My friend absolutely loved the hazelnut shake, their base was the fererro rocher chocolate. Lastly the chocolate bars were mid, nothing too special. It tasted like a Hershey bar smushed together with the pistachio knafeh in the middle . The place over all was great because they have so many other options you can choose from. And it wasn't too busy as well. read more

DUBAI CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES LIVE UP TO THE HYPE! We came here after having dinner at the Long Beach Hangar. It is just across the way and we were celebrating a birthday. The boys wanted to try Dubai Chocolate and I have to say I loved it. The freshest strawberries were covered in a pistachio cream and melted chocolate with the addition of the crunchy Dubai crunchy things. It was as decadent as you could imagine. The price was decadent too. It was over $17 for one cup. We tried a couple other things like chocolate covered marshmallows and a chocolate peanut butter cup. They were great. When we left the line was wrapping around the corner outside. I would definitely recommend coming here to try the Dubai chocolate but be prepared to pay for it. read more

Looking to have a bash, more like a delicious chocolate bash? Then head over to the Long Beach Exchange also known as LBX in the city of Long Beach and get your chocolate cravings ready for a bash! I went on Valentine's Day and ordered via their touch screen and was amazed at all the fine chocolate and non-chocolate selections they had, basically this was a dessert oasis...get it?! Desert oasis, dessert oasis...ok so if you are looking for the viral Dubai chocolate, yes they do have it here, but I wanted the sweet yet simplistic dessert crepe and chose the one with Belgian milk chocolate and hazelnut with strawberries and topped with whip cream. This was a shareable plate, but I think I could have also eaten it on my own, however being that it was Valentine's, I shared half of it with my hubby and we both enjoyed this delicious dessert that was less than $12 and was a great way to end the Valentine's dinner. I suggest to dine in so you can get the full effect of how it is presented onto the plate and enjoy while eating at one of their outside tables similar to being at a cafe and watching the people and cars go by. The strawberries were huge and I loved that they were cut in half, somewhat of a meaty texture next to the soft crepe. So get your chocolate fix today or tonight at Chocolate Bash (located near Panini Kabob Grill) and satisfy your chocolate craving, have a bash! read more
01/25/25 My daughter had a treat here recently and wanted it again but didn't want to spend her own money lol It was perfect timing for her because I wanted to try their Dubai chocolate. She ordered the Dubai strawberry cup made with fresh strawberries, Crispy Knafeh, Belgian Milk Chocolate, and Pistachio Cream. I had a taste. It had a good ratio of everything and the crunch made it for me. Not crazy sweet. It was good. But $17.99 good?! No. My opinion, I would've felt better and enjoyed it more for $10 at the most. The Dubai chocolate was good too. Made with rich milk Belgian chocolate, luscious pistachio spread, and crunchy knafeh. I love a good crunch. $9.99. A bit small in size for the price. Overall, we enjoyed our treats but might not be coming back for a while. Including a tip, for these 2 items was almost $40. 8/10 for the treats 5/10 for the price read more

This place is very exciting to be at, but I just think it is missing a few things to make it the perfect spot. First of all, everything is expensive and on top of that, in order to get even a simple topping they charge at least $2 for each topping. I got the Crepuccini and added ice cream. It comes with two free drizzles. I thought it was delicious but not amazing. I absolutely appreciate that they put PLENTY of the drizzle of the two toppings but it was honestly too much. I also expected the crepe to be thinner slices. They were just way too thick and made it seem like a regular crepe. This place is also self serve at the kiosks so it didn't really feel too welcoming and we weren't really acknowledged. They also seemed very busy. Parking at this location is great, it is just a plaza with a lot of shops and parking. read more

Honestly, people are sleeping on this place. Their pastries are SO good! I had one of their crepes yesterday and was BLOWN away! I got mine with dark chocolate, whip cream, and strawberries. It sounds quite simple but the combination was delicious! The crepe itself was nice and soft, complimenting the toppings really well. I was scraping dark chocolate off my plate with the strawberries . I will say, the toppings are pricey, but they do give you a lot of each topping. The base crepe itself is $5, with the toppings ranging from $1.99 - $4.99 each. But, they do give you a lot of each topping. My friends got a waffle and were also blown away with how good it was! We were all greeted upon walking in, and were immediately informed that we can use the kiosks to order. The kiosks have pictures and make ordering efficient. You can also still choose to order the 'ol fashion way though, if you so desire. The best part about this place is that it's open until 11:00 PM! That's one hour later than Handel's! If you're craving some late night pastries, this place is definitely the place to go! read more

For a tiny shake and 10 mini pancakes, I paid $20. Each topping is like $1-$5 so im better of making it at home. Don't get me wrong, it was definitely yummy, however for $20 I can buy the toppings and staying home.. read more
