I finally tried this place after walking past dozens of times. It's a small dessert spot that specializes in chocolate treats and dessert crepes. They also have random candies which seem out of place but it must sell. The place is small and kind of cute inside. And the person working the counter was so super friendly and sweet. I tried the chocolate covered strawberries, the s'mores bite, peanut butter bite, and chocolate krispie type bite and all were very tasty. My fave hands down was that s'mores concoction. It was a perfect chocolaty treat. Those strawberries were pretty good too. If you're a chocolate lover you know what to do. read more

Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I was craving chocolate and strawberries and was at LBX so I decided it was time to try Chocolate Bash. I ordered the chocolate strawberry cup and was hoping it would be similar to the viral chocolate strawberry cup from Borough Market in London. Unfortunately at Chocolate Bash they use chocolate shell, not chocolate syrup, which wasn't clear when ordering. All that lovely chocolate hardened into a weird chocolate prison surrounding the strawberries in the cup. Unlike a chocolate covered strawberry, where you get a nice crispy thin layer of chocolate, this resulted in clumps of overly thick chocolate which completely separated from the strawberries. It was impossible to get a balanced bite. The strawberries themselves were nice and ripe, which was a plus, but overall this just didn't work as a dish. read more

Sweet treat mode activated. Chocolate bash saved me by being open late. I ended up ordering their rolled crepes with Nutella and strawberries with Ferrero rocher. Straight fire. gasolina. My entire mouth was filled and stuck with Nutella. It was a dream tho. They gave me about 6 strawberries, 8 rolled crepes and each one had the Ferrero rocher piece inside of it. It was my dream of hazelnut and chocolate fantasy. I do not even want to know the calories and sugar count on this sweet treat but this is like a once in a blue moon for me. For the cream puffs, it was Dubai chocolate style and it did not taste like Dubai chocolate at all. It was lackluster, and I wish it had more pistachio flavor to it. Located in an outdoor plaza across from the Hangar, parking is a shared lot and there are a lot of spaces available. The interior looked like ice cream with the walls looking like chocolate fudge dripping down. Very cute. There are a few long tables that are great for groups and if you are just a party of two, there are some smaller tables outside or you share the larger tables with other people. The service was fast and nice. He gave me an extra strawberry for free, that was very nice of him. I tipped them before placing my order. The kiosk is convenient to order but I wasn't sure the cup was going to come out exactly as I had in mind-it was easier to order at the counter. We were with friends and grabbed a seat to enjoy our goodies. I must admit, I was mostly underwhelmed. The strawberries were frozen and weren't sweet at all. For $17.99 I definitely expected better. The inside felt a bit chaotic and it wasn't immediately clear who was taking orders. It seems like a family run business, which I appreciate, but the ordering process could use a little more structure. Thankfully, I used the self service tablet which made things much smoother. It helped they had photos too. My order was prepared quickly. I went with the strawberries dipped in Dubai chocolate and they were delicious. I definitely would order them again. My friends got ice cream and really enjoyed theirs as well. We also picked up a Dubai chocolate bar and it was super tasty. If I had one suggestion, it would be to improve the layout inside the store, even though there's outdoor seating the inside feels a bit cramped and could be more inviting, since it's in a trendy area, upgrading the space to make it more inviting, especially with updated walls and ceiling decor would definitely elevate experience. Service was great, if they aren't busy with orders they take your order in the front otherwise they have 2-3 self order stands. This place is very exciting to be at, but I just think it is missing a few things to make it the perfect spot. First of all, everything is expensive and on top of that, in order to get even a simple topping they charge at least $2 for each topping. I got the Crepuccini and added ice cream. It comes with two free drizzles. I thought it was delicious but not amazing. I absolutely appreciate that they put PLENTY of the drizzle of the two toppings but it was honestly too much. I also expected the crepe to be thinner slices. They were just way too thick and made it seem like a regular crepe. Honestly, people are sleeping on this place. Their pastries are SO good! I had one of their crepes yesterday and was BLOWN away! I got mine with dark chocolate, whip cream, and strawberries.
