I tried some of Albert's sweet treats and they were all so beautiful! They're mini works of art. I almost didn't want to even eat them! Them marshmallow chocolate hearts with raspberry geleé are so much fun. Great for a loved one. I personally like the bag of miscellaneous sweet treats. There were some tropical fruit jellies in there along with some yummy filled chocolate pieces. The hand painted blue chocolates were show stoppers that I bought for my brother's birthday. I bought these from Partake Collective and the man who helped me with my order was patient and kind. I would definitely purchase more sweet treats from Albert! read more

Pass on the chocolate covered marshmallows. The bonbons are where it's at. Such great quality chocolate. The centers were smooth and creamy. The one with freeze dried Cherry was my favorite but ALL the bonbons were delicious. The shop is inside Partake building. Order on the tablet and someone will bring out your order. I would get the Sweet Mistakes $12 bag again. Very worth it. read more

Happened to stumble across Chef Albert and his sweets collection when I went to the Partake Collective. Chef Albert is sooo friendly and personable, which I love! He let me sample the vegan chocolate honeycomb and it was quite crisp and delicate. The texture literally felt like chewing on honeycombs wrapped in chocolate. Yum! I decided to bring home the cocoa butter crisps, which the chef states is made out of Ritz crackers and chocolate. Made me quite intrigued cause when you think of Ritz crackers, you don't automatically think of chocolate. But oh my gosh, I really like them! Perfect balance of chocolate and cracker with a great amount of richness coming from the Belgian chocolate. Loved the caramel flakes on top, as well. Ambiance inside the Partake Collective provides a modern vibe with a quick grab and go experience. I like how Chef Albert's sweets are set up neatly as soon as you turn the corner up the stairs. Sweets and chocolates are always an eye catcher for me, so I am glad I saw this and got to meet Chef Albert personally. I would definitely recommend trying the variety of chocolates and sweets-- hope to come back soon when I'm in the area! read more

Chef Albert made a very good first impression when we visited his shop. He took the time to meet us, gave us an orientation of his business. The sample vegan crisps were excellent, light and airy, crunchy and scrumptiously delicious. No lingering aftertaste, no internal sensation of heaviness, and portion was just enough to whet the appetite, which we found was very refreshing. The flavors are amazing, and the presentation is beautiful. His artistry is exquisite!!! read more

We first met Albert at the LA Chocolate Salon in Pasadena back in 2022. My husband and I were first gifted a box of Albert's chocolates after a purchase from David Yurman. We were enamored by the beautiful bonbons and they tasted as good as they look! During wedding planning, we wanted to give our guests a special treat so we reached out to Albert to curate some wedding favors for us. Together we designed a custom chocolate with our photo printed on them and selected the other flavors from Albert's menu. These were an absolute hit at our wedding, only the guests said they were too beautiful to eat! It was great working with Albert. He was very flexible and responsive during the process. I couldn't be happier to support him and his craft. I'd recommend Albert's Petite Sweets to anyone looking for a treat for themselves or to gift to others! read more

Working with Chef Albert was a dream. I asked him if he could create chocolates for my dinosaur themed wedding at NHMLA. He was responsive, kind, professional, and so easy to work with. He's a great listener, fun to collaborate with, and I could feel the creativity and passion in his voice whenever we spoke. It truly is so cool to know someone is excited to put their all into their craft. My wedding guests have raved and raved to my husband and I about the chocolates. They were delicious, perfect, and absolutely beautiful. We got a custom 5 piece box and a dark chocolate honeycomb raptor claw for each guest. People have been asking us if we have any more! My favorite flavor is his calamansi caramel. So so good. Thank you, Chef!!! You helped make my wedding dreams come true. The chocolates are soooooo good! I brought my mom to the Valentine's Day event as a little treat. It was a little disorganized, and there was a pretty long wait to get situated with the chocolates included in the event . Also, my chosen to go chocolates were incorrect in the box (my mom grabbed them for me while I was getting a chair massage!). Overall tho, the chocolates really make this place shine! The best warning I can give you is: if you want all other chocolate ruined for you, get Albert's Petite Sweets. When I tell you all that I was a Sees Candies addict, I mean it. I wish I could tell you all the flavors but I just know there wasn't a single one that disappointed me. The box was gone that same day oopsie lol I've followed Albert on Instagram for years (since the cake pop days ) and I'm so in awe at the beautiful sweets he creates. I am ECSTATIC over Albert's Petite Sweets! And so are the 110 guests we had yesterday for a major event at our house. Meeting Albert started off randomly enough... I have to thank Siri (!) for pulling up Albert's website when I asked for "chocolates near me." His was the second listing after See's Candies--! I needed a huge order of custom handmade chocolates as boxed party gifts, plus another big batch of handmade chocolates for table grazing. From the get-go, Albert was amazing to work with. This talented, cheerful, pleasant, creative and energetic chocolate wizard gave us multiple flavors and styles to choose from. Then we added a special request for custom handmade chocolate pyramids (The pyramid being our visual party theme). Albert took the challenge right away, acquiring special molds for the chocolates -- and sharing the chocolate-making journey in pictures with us. In the end we opted for a mix of chocolates and his incredibly mind-blowing pate de fruit (fruit paste) Sweets... OMG! The flavors. Every one of Albert's flavors bursts in the mouth, so many distinctive combinations including exotic fruits and playful retro throwbacks like passionfruit and speculoos. People descended on the table chocolates like locusts, they couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything was. And they loved the beautiful gift boxes that he made and filled. Albert is an exceptional craftsman and every single bonbon was a work of art, not only to look at but in the mouth. Speculoos, coconut caramel, Ube, calamansi and espresso are just a few of the flavors...fruit pates--wow. All agreed, Albert is the prince of chocolatiers and bonbonniers. Like a real Willy Wonka he makes the world taste good -- as good as they look, but even better. We simply cannot thank Albert enough for the incredible job he did, the amazing details, the total dedication to creating art in candy, and his sweet and charming nature that made working with him an even greater joy during an otherwise challenging event preparation. Although he works all over, we are lucky to have Albert nearby in downtown Long Beach where he works out of the Partake gourmet kitchens. You can buy his classic chocolates in the lobby display. So there's no need for a special order... Just get to Partake and got some for yourself! (And your loved ones...they will love you even more.) read more

After seeing Chef Albert Daniel at a few chocolate shows, I was finally able to check out his retail space (at the Partake Collective in Long Beach, CA). What a "treat" to see all of his delicious stuff on display and to get a few moments to chat with him. Albert is one of a kind in all the right ways, and he makes darn good sweets! He is constantly creating new items, and each one is AMAZING. You can't go wrong with anything you buy from his chocolate creations to his freeze-dried treats to his pate de fruits to whatever he adds next!! But, I have to say a few things about the Partake Collective in case you are able to visit there. It is VERY confusing when you first walk in ... is it a food place? a retail store? an office building? When I got to the top of the stairs, I was lucky enough to find the person managing the retail area. She called Albert to come over and help me. If she hadn't been there, I'm not sure what I would have done. This building has so much potential as a retail space for all the businesses inside of it, that is, if they can do a bit more to make it easier for the consumer. read more

Buying a chocolate box from Albert's was a delight! When I came to pick up my box Albert himself came to the delivery area, smiling and full of energy. He's found his calling card in life. With such passion how could his chocolates be anything less than world class? I found Albert's chocolates to be a little less sweet than usual. That's a good thing, he doesn't let the sugar overpower the other flavors. Texture also played a big role. The chocolate and caramel in the Cloud 9 was creamy and soft. The marshmallow was fluffy and delicate. The freshness shows. Add to that the gorgeous looks. Shiny chocolates, some with mirror glazes and artistic flares. I gave a box as a gift, and there immediate oooohs and aaaahs without one even being tasted. He also gave me a sample of his jelly square. Normally jelly candy isn't something I get excited about, but these are bursting with flavor, and again, are cooked perfectly so that they have a nice soft and light feel. I started wondering about the other flavors. If you want to taste the full potential of chocolates, get some of Albert's! He also mentioned that there are stores that carry his chocolates. read more
