I ordered 8 dozen (96) mini cupcakes for a party in four different flavors: Gluten-free red velvet, vegan chocolate, lemon, and funfetti. They all tasted AMAZING. I don't have dietary restrictions but many of my guests did, and as someone who happily eats gluten and animal products, I'm very happy to say that the gf & vegan cupcakes tasted just as good as the "regular" ones. Super delicious and they all looked beautiful. The one piece of feedback I would give is that it would be nice if the cupcakes were labelled with the applicable dietary restrictions, but I didn't ask for that, so I guess that's on me. I think big party and corporate clients might appreciate that heads-up that there aren't labels - I would have created some myself if I had known - only because most of the GF cupcakes were gone before I had a chance to find the GF people at my party and let them know there were GF cupcakes! The cupcakes may look super sweet but they actually have just the right amount of sweetness to it. Which means, you can eat more than one at a time. I love love LOVE red velvet cupcakes, but I am also picky with the ones I love (I'm not that easy!). The last heavenly red velvet cupcake with perfect cream cheese frosting that I've had was in New York City (Little Red Hen). Cupcake Inn rivals that. The cupcake was moist, with bits of chocolate chips embedded in them and a cream cheese frosting that was semi-tart but not too sweet. It was so good. Since I liked the cupcakes last time I bought some for my friends baptismal as a gift! I showed pics of what I wanted and she did exactly of what I showed her but better! I am definitely not a cake/cupcake person but Cupcake Inn makes the most delicious cupcakes (& cream cheese frosting) I've ever had! A lot of cupcake/cake places are all about looks and making their desserts look pretty by piling on mounds of fondant, sprinkles, etc etc but Cupcake Inn skips all the bull and focuses more on flavor and taste. The only thing you should be peeling off a cupcake is the cupcake wrapper... not nasty fondant! Must try flavors I'd recommend include the Hazelnut Crunch (Ferrero Rocher inspired), ChoCoco Almond (Almond Joy inspired), apple pie cheesecake and French toast (swap maple frosting with cream cheese frosting). Oh, and if you're a bacon lover, go for the maple bacon cupcake.
