Absolutely loved this location of CHAGEE. The fruit teas are amazing, and the jasmine lemon tea stood out in particular with its bright, lemon-forward flavor that's super refreshing without being too sweet. The Long Beach store was very clean and well-kept, and I really appreciated being able to try samples before choosing. The service and overall experience were consistently great--I ended up coming twice in three days while on a work trip. Easily one of my favorite fruit tea spots and somewhere I'd gladly return to again.

The modern chic decor transports all visitors to a tranquil mental retreat. The vibe here is so relaxing that it invites people to slow down and really allow the tea to do its magic. It's replenishment for the soul. It helps that the tea is freshly brewed and tastes amazing, but your brain drinks the entire experience, not just the tea. I am also a huge fan of Laufey, so seeing her sponsorship and listening to her music in the background makes me even happier.

Tea: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 This spot is for true tea lovers who also appreciate a calm, well-designed ambiance. The team in you is sparse but has the variety of teas that most true tea lovers: black tea, green tea and oolong tea. You can enjoy any of their teas in pure form or latte form (I highly recommend trying their peach oolong tea pure or with minimal sugar). The interior design Is elevated and designed with impeccable taste. There are a lot of organic shapes, soft, warm lighting, and ample seating and outlets for those. Looking for a place to work outside of home. The service is excellent too! The young lady at the register was kind enough to discreetly. Tell me my fly was down when I walked in. And I am so grateful to her. My only constructive feedback is I wish they offered something complimentary to the teas, some type of food or snack item. I wanted to sit for a long period of time to do some reading with my tea but I got hungry it had to leave.

A friend took me here to try and I love it. Beautiful setting and I tasted strong tea in my ice blended drink.

Specialty tea, don't look for boba here! I ordered the iced jasmine milk tea. My tea was great quality, very smooth, well balanced, refreshing! Service is appropriate. Beautiful space, some seating, nice place to hang out. Hip!

Came here on a saunday around 1pm small wait to order. Got the amber oolong tea latte with oat milk. It was good sweetness and size was big for a regular. Taste was smooth. Seating inside. Back parkinglot is 15 minutes free. All in all good tea.

This location is right on 2nd street so either park on the street be mindful theres one way streets or the various little public parking sections pay at the kiosk or download the passport parking app. First time coming here and i really enjoyed it i liked the vibe very clean and modern i love how they use tea leafs here i ordered the frappe and OMG its like a way better thai iced tea very light and delicious you can still taste the quality of the tea in this frappe its so good its my new icey beverage i highly recommend

Chargee has a minimal menu with traditionally brewed tea and extracted (using an espresso machine) tea. I tried an oolong latte, which was good but didn't blow me away. They've created a bright comfortable interior for hanging out, but don't offer dine in cups for tea. I'd much rather be able to drink my tea there in ceramic or glass cups rather than the to-go containers they offer. It would also be great to be able to order a pot of tea to enjoy while there.

Super ecstatic to hear that chagee is opening more locations now as their original location in Century City is a but too far out for me. Since they are pretty new, they only have a handful of items on their menu. They have a promotion of 15% off one beverage when you download the Chagee app. The peach oolong pure tea was alright. It felt a bit watered down and it could've been stronger in my opinion. It was completely empty on a Sunday evening when I went. Theres a parking lot in the back or street parking.

Boya jasmine green tea latte - got regular sweetness and less ice, perfectly sweetened with strong floral jasmine flavor. it's very similar to Molly Tea, I do prefer Chagee though bc the tea flavor is stronger. Street/parallel parking available. Friendly staff and quick service. There's no wait/line when I came at 8PM on a Sunday.

Finally got to try the long awaited Chagee at their second street location. I went on soft opening day on a Friday and it wasn't too busy surprisingly. I ordered their peach oolong tea latte and the BOYA jasmine green tea latte both regular sweet and ice levels. Their tea lattes are quite tea forward so you can really taste the quality of the tea. Milk and sweetness were mild to let the tea shine. In my opinion, my drink could've been a little more sweet. They were giving away coasters and plushies during their soft opening but the plushies ran out by the first hour. The store is clean, bright, and minimal. Will be back when I'm in the area!

A modern teahouse has hit the Shore and I'm here for it. It's crazy that this space was previously Dave's Hot Chicken. The layout has been completely transformed decked with plants and wood paneling. It's grand opening weekend so staff was really nice from the worker offering samples out front to the order taker behind the register. Menu items are currently limited. I found that out when I got the app and a particular drink was highlighted which they did not have. I just went with a hot roasted black milk tea latte. It was the temperature that I had to wait to cool down. Sweetness is adjustable. No charge for oat milk which is a plus in my book. I liked that the label on your drink tells you calories, caffeine, protein, and sodium. So awesome that when the line gets long, an employee will be with iPad in line to take your order. Very efficient. I'm looking forward to returning when they extend their menu and when the weather heats up, I see myself ordering a refreshing tea. Cheers to Chagee!

This felt like a very modern zen tea house. We ordered the ice peach oolong lemon tea and the iced peach oolong tea latte. Both delicious. Both drinks were similar except the latte just had milk in it. I would order the ice peach oolong lemon tea again as it was very refreshing. Friendly service. I can't wait til they open one in San Diego!

I've been on the lookout for the best coffee in Long Beach and I think Colossus might just be it…read more Colossus is an adorable storefront on 2ND Street. I'm absolutely obsessed with their coffee menu, baked items, sandwiches, and their selection of grocery-like goods. I ordered the Midsommar caramel latte, ceasar salad sandwich on their fresh baked bread, and the strawberry rhubarb and pistachio danish (!!). I'd easily sign up for this lineup to be my last meal on earth. I even ordered a sourdough bread loaf with olives so I could ride this high for several more days. The Midsommar latte is crafted with housemade caramel, espresso, milk, and topped with sprinkles of fennel and bee pollen - the perfect finale to an already incredible drink. To hear that they also offer an extensive pizza menu? You won't be seeing the last of me, Colossus.

Cinnamon Sugar Knot, Midsommar Latte ICED ONLY…read more This was my first time trying out colossus after always passing by it on my walks along 2nd street. I ordered a Cinnamon Sugar Knot and a after looking at the coffee options I decided to go with the Midsommar Latte. The Cinnamon Sugar Knot was pretty yummy, it had, in my opinion, a very good distribution of sugar all along the pastry and wasn't lackluster like I feel most places are. If you are craving a sweet bite of something I recommend the Cinnamon Sugar Knot for sure. The Midsommar Latte on the other hand had a pretty presentation and at first glance looked like it would be pretty good. Sadly to me the flavor wasn't there, it tasted very milky and lacked any other flavoring. It's suppose to be a spicy Carmel as described to me by the barista but as I stated I was just milky. If you crave more of a stronger coffee taste, as I tend to personally like, i definitely would stay away from the Midsommer Latte. The service was quick and the baristas were nice. There wasn't any music playing though when I went, maybe it was paused in accident, so it was extremely quite which isn't a bad thing but perhaps playing some lo-fi music to just set a nice relaxing tone would be great. All in all, not a bad little cafe, nice interior, yummy pastries, and good amount of options to choose from within the drink menu

Let's start with service: the woman at the front was very dry, quiet, and uninterested. We tried asking her if we could add cold foam or sweet cream to our drinks to make them sweeter, and she said it was only available on seasonal drinks. As an avid matcha latte consumer, this made zero sense to me. While I don't blame her bc she likely had nothing to do with that decision, she wasn't kind in relaying that information or trying to help me find something on the menu I may like. Her demeanor remained the same when my friend ordered his drink, and we both felt a very negative energy coming from this woman, simply put it didn't seem like she wanted to be there taking our order. This was around 1pm last Saturday (the 21st of March), so they had a decent amount of customers, but it wasn't some crazy morning rush. Forward to the drink : we grabbed our drinks which came out promptly. I tasted my matcha and just as I suspected due to the lack of sweetness, it just tasted like grassy chalk. I assumed that my friends latte would be better, as matcha can tend to have an earthy taste to it to begin with. Then I tried his... chalky and sour. Due to the lack of customization and the barista's attitude, we just took a couple sips and tossed our drinks. It was a super negative experience for a place I really really wanted to like. I think allowing people to use sweetener and cold foam on more than just seasonal lattes would be a great first start, and perhaps training the staff on appropriate customer interaction would also help. Loved the branding on this spot, but it seems like the people who work there don't want to be there and it really put a damper on the experience, and for a place so cute, the drinks and vibes should be top notch.
