Ordered: Maple Lavender Latte (~$7): maple lavender syrup with orange zest Peach Crumble Scone (~$5) Aya's take: Rose Parks came highly recommended by a friend who lives in the area so we stopped by to check it out. You can immediately tell they take coffee-making seriously and you're in for a good cup no matter what. I got the Maple Lavender Latte which was silky smooth, warm, and very subtly flavored with maple and lavender. The maple overpowered the lavender and the orange zest actually overpowered both. The Peach Crumble Scone was surprisingly good! I usually don't get scones as they tend to be dry but this one was not and I loved the peach essence and sweetness from the crumble on top. It paired well with my latte too. Worth a try if you're in Long Beach!
I love Rose Park! I have been to the other location on Pine and decided to try this location for the day to get some work done. The staff here are very friendly and genuinely kind.As I was sitting there for a while they would check in and offered to bring me water. I could tell there were a lot of regulars coming in for their morning coffee. I ordered a very basic Americano and it was delicious. I love their espresso. The cafe is on the smaller side but if you're able to get there on a lower traffic time and grab a seat, it's the perfect spot to grab coffee and work.
Great Artisanal Coffee Shop located in a residential neighborhood in Long Beach on 4th st between Obispo and Temple. They have multiple locations within Long Beach. Small cozy interior space with limited seating. Very simple decor with blue walls, white ceilings, terra cotta floor tiling, wooden tables and chairs, pendants with lighting that is comfortable on the eye and floor to ceiling windows. Making this Space very warm and inviting. There is sidewalk seating as well with wooden tables, chairs and some benches separated by potted olive trees, all designed in a way that is welcoming and conducive to socializing. However, the best part is definitely their menu with specialty coffees and herbal teas such as the "Caramel Miso Latté" or the "Yuzu espresso Tonic" as well as lots of great herbal teas. I had the Caramel Miso Latté over ice, with Oat milk. It is a very tasty blend that has the perfect amount of sweet and is absolutely delicious. My cousin had a Mocha latté which he also loved. They also have a small case with yummy daily pastries. The Baristas are super friendly and helpful. The service overall is excellent and prices are average. $20 for 2 coffee blends and a good size pastry (not including tip). I am looking forward to going back and trying some of the other menu items. I highly recommend Rose Park Coffee Roasters.
My wife and I stopped into one of our favorite little coffee shops in Long Beach. I decided on the Miso Cappuccino 1/2 sweet. She had an iced mocha. Both drinks were great. Loved the ribbed glass they put the iced Mocha in. It wasn't too crowded which was nice and the music was vibing. Oh! And the baristas were super chill. That's always a plus. We'll see you guys next time we're in the neighborhood.
A couple weeks ago, my friend and I ventured here to try their coffee. I love that Rose Parks has a coffee flight option, so we were able to try a vanilla late and also a caramel miso latte. I had ordered both of these hot with oatmilk. Personally, I love a vanilla latte, and this was definitely above average. I feel their caramel miso was smoother, but this is not usually a drink I would go for. The caramel miso latte is one of the shop's most popular lattes though. Ollie, the barista who helped us was incredibly kind, patient, welcoming, and even redid one of the drinks because something had tasted off with one of the lattes. I loved the warm and cozy environment this location has, and I believe a huge part of it is thanks to the Ollie. They're also a roastery, so I loved being able to enjoy using their beans at home, and it's become one of my favorites. I didn't know about Rose Parks being a roastery until I was there, since I don't tend to venture into Long Beach for coffee until I heard the city is actually quite known for their coffee. I enjoyed the coffee beans from this place the most! The shop is clean with nice, natural lighting. Parking definitely is tricky in this city though.
Don't skip Caramel Miso latte, y'all, it's so amazing!! Service is nice and fast too. Hubby and brother got lavender latte and mocha and they were also good. They have coffee flights that we need to return to! YUM
This independent coffee spot has top tier coffee. It was my first visit today; I ordered the "Maple Lavender Latte." The barista topped it off with a nice design and zested the foam with orange peels. It's absolutely delicious! The first sip is other worldly, and when you get to the last drink some of the citrus settles towards the bottom and complements the lavender perfectly.
Such a great local coffee shop! The drinks are delicious - I always get the iced chai, which is my personal favorite (right next to matcha). The space has a modern, earthy vibe. It's very spacious, making it a great spot to get some work done with plenty of seating available. The baristas are friendly and always make our drinks quickly. It's also walking distance from a lot of cute local shops and spots- and about a 20 min walk to the beach!
Best coffee in Long Beach!!! I had the mocha and it was really smooth, well balanced, with a hint of syrup. The service was very friendly and nice! Service with a smile!!! The restaurant is very pleasant with good music playing in the background!!
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Staff is always nice. Cute little seating area inside and a few seats outside. I get my coffee beans delivered from here and stop by when I don't want to make my own. Simple menu with great ingredients. Parking is street parking and in the neighborhood. But usually not to hard to find a spot. Great place to bring your laptop or book and sit for a little bit.
I've been a patron of Rose Park Coffee Roasters on 4th Street in Long Beach, CA for a little over a year now, and all of my experiences have been very pleasant so far. I don't drink coffee at all, so I will typically order a water when I drop in, and that's more than enough for me as I'm typically only working on small assignments or reading for a couple of hours anyway. Regardless of how busy it might be on any given day, I'm always acknowledged and greeted with a warm welcome as soon as I walk in. A simple greeting may seem like a no-brainer in a customer service environment, but not every employee greets customers when they drop in - so it's much appreciated to the Long Beach staff. The café isn't big, but the interior is very quaint and homey, so I generally prefer to snag a seat indoors when I am around. The music isn't oppressively loud like at most Starbucks in my area, so I really appreciate that as someone who is likely working, reading, or doing both when I do hit up a café. While I can't offer any insight into the quality of coffee, lattes, etc. I can vouch for Rose Park in LB if you need a low-key spot to relax or get some work done. read more
Found Rose Park by accident while looking for a coffee place in downtown Long Beach and ended up really liking it. Cute, relaxed vibe and a nice outdoor area to sit, enjoy the sun, and have coffee. We tried the Maple Lavender Latte and Caramel Miso Latte, both were really good and something different. Would come back again. read more

Delicious coffee and excellent service! I got the soyrizo empanada and caramel miso latte (decaf). The empanada was fine, although I felt it needed more savory flavor. The caramel miso latte was AMAZING. Will def be back for that. I also tried the jalapeño cheddar biscuit and the regular biscuit with their house made jam (blackberry?) those were both very good The baristas had a great vibe and I felt very comfortable here. The only thing is that there weren't enough chairs outside, so we had to grab some high chairs that were too tall for the table we were at. Overall, would definitely recommend. read more

It's not the worst place, but has a lot of potential to be a great place with some adjustments. The coffee gets a 4/5, good flavor and they always have a couple brews to choose from. Service is a 3/5, they aren't rude, but definitely not welcoming by any means. The Hot drink To-Go cups leak all over your hand, that's the biggest flaw. They have to know this is happening. It's not a one time thing, it's happened 4 times in a row to me. They double cup it, instead of having a sleeve. Also seems like a lot of waste. It's such a buzz-kill when you are walking out of the place and get coffee all over your hand. They have decent seating Street parking only read more

Drip coffee is way to expensive for what it is and look at the size of this little fucker like how did this run me five bucks (after a tip) also my roommate got a flat white it was huge and tasted burnt af. Good service though read more
Nestled in an artsy and cozy section of downtown Long Beach, Rose Park Coffee Roasters was just the perfect spot for a caffeine break. I loved the how rich and balanced the Cortado with Oat Milk was! The inside is really aesthetic and peaceful with a great touch of classic hip decor and I loved how inviting and friendly the barista was. I'd recommend a visit here and will definitely be back! read more
Rose Park is a charming little coffee shop that reminds me of Portland. Their coffee is great. I ordered their caramel miso latte and was very happy with it; it had a nice bold coffee flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness from the caramel and umami from the miso. The barista was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back. read more

The latte was smooth and not bitter tasting. I added some stevia to sweeten it. It had a little too much milk that watered it down a bit. The atmosphere was nice and the service was ok, however I have come before where the service was lacking. Some of the employees give off the vibe that they didn't want to be bothered. read more

My coworker recommended me this place and it's been on my radar for awhile as a barista myself. I liked the setup itself how the seating is outside and the interior wasn't overwhelming when you walk in because sometimes coffee places try to over decorate. I'm a maximalist myself but sometimes with such small places it can be overwhelming lol. While I didn't have the chance to try any food yet (it looked good!) I got to try the Lavender Maple Latte and it was delicious! I'm picky about the flavor of my beans and it wasn't over roasted at all or pulled sour. The syrup itself was also delicious and not over sugary like some, it gave the exact amount of flavor that I prefer. I definitely suggest popping in when you can! The two baristas were nice and quick with it! read more

What a cute coffee shop! Coffee is tasty as well, I had their signature maple latte with orange, and it was amazing! The barista was friendly and accommodated all of our orders, we had five of us there the other day, highly recommend. read more
It's another cute coffee shop with very eccentric drinks and it is a solid place to hang out and casually catch up with someone. There's also a nice outdoor area to sit at with umbrellas to hide from the sun. The service was quite a bit cold and stand off ish, which almost came off as rude. There were some rushes of people on this weekend morning but it only came in waves. Caramel Miso: Maybe get? It's almost like a spin on salted caramel so if you're into that flavor this is worth a sip. However, the umami of the miso can catch you off guard if you're not ready for it. Some minty coffee...: Get Nice, light, fresh. It'll go down easy with a sweet finish and nothing too exotic about this. read more
For me and my wife, this is a mid-week, mid-morning, delightful date spot. Clean, open floor plan, and relaxing, we settle into some great chats and coffees through the years. The coffees are primed for excellence with flavors unique and sublime. The gold-toothed baseball catcher and pixie red-haired spunk sell, make and serve the coffees proper and with style. read more
