Absolutely love Ding Tea drinks - no complaints here. Ding Tea is one of my favorite boba spots and the drinks (specifically the monster boba latte) is consistent no matter the location. Unfortunately, the service at this specific location is what warrants the three stars. I placed a phone order for me and my family with no issue, however, I forgot to add one more drink. Less than 5 minutes later I called back to try and add another drink, and the employee (different from the first person I spoke with) said they weren't taking phone orders anymore. I informed them I just placed a phone order, and his response was, "We got that order, but we have a line now so we're prioritizing the people here. We can't add anything else to your order." After I hung up, my fiance called right after to see if he could place the order instead. A different employee answered and took the phone order no problem. Within 5-10 minutes, we arrived at the location, and the place was empty. It was only us and one other person. Again, the drinks are amazing - it's just unfortunate that we had this experience with placing our orders. read more

I love going here for my boba and green tea. It's that good that I keep coming back literally almost every week. They usually get my orders right every time but today they didnt. I clearly said Hokkaido oolong milk tea with boba; and then he clarified if I want any toppings on my green tea to which I said no. I ended up with bobas on my green tea and none on my milk tea. The other girl staff was kind enough to remove the bobas on the green tea, but still my milk tea has no boba. I suggest double checking the receipt next time to make sure orders were correct. If you have read my other reviews, you know I am a fan of Ding Tea. Every location is themed differently so when a new one opens up, you know I will be there sooner or later. This location is in the heart of Bixby Knolls. There is street parking in front of the place and in the back, but it is pretty small. I suggest parking in the nearby neighborhood if you cannot find any. Take a nice stroll in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in the LBC. I have a couple of favorites at this teahouse. A couple of favorites are the Passionfruit Green Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Monster Boba Latte, and the Hokkaido. I like to add honey boba to all my drinks which I have got to say, they have one of the best boba I have ever tried. They are not too soft and have a great flavor. They are just made perfectly. After getting your drink, there is a small seating area to enjoy your drinks and to chat with some friends. If you take it to go, there are plenty of shops and cool places to check out during your walk back to your car. read more

I was trying to place an order online but for some reason it wasn't working. I tried calling in hopes of putting my order through the phone because I had 15 drinks and was on my 30 min break. I understand that some places don't accept phone orders, but the last time the website was down, i was able to put in my orders through the phone. However, when I arrived the guy on the register was really helpful and even gave me a box for my big order. Drinks were great but I hope they fix their website soon, or make the online ordering experience more accessible. read more

Store employees oblivious to what a food allergy is and if they are able to accommodate an allergy. It's understandable if they are not able to safely accommodate but when I politely inquired, the look was blank stares from the employees. It was very uncomfortable- Please train your employees better. I inquired further asking if the blenders are used to mix nuts with fruit slushies and was able to deduce on my own, that there is a high risk of cross contamination for allergies. This is aa safety issue for some customers that may not suspect cross with plain fruit slushies. A warning card of potential for cross allergies would be a good safety protocol considering your employees are confused. read more

Came here during my lunch break since it was the only boba shop in the area. Parking was mainly street but you can also park in the rear but it's tight.
