It's been a while since I've been back, and they updated their menu items. They have a lot more unique drinks now. Parking is still the same; it can get tough finding a spot. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Finding a spot inside is pretty tough since it does get packed, and most tables fill up quickly. You first order through the cashier or one kiosk. We got the Ham & Cheese Croissant, Cheese Corn Cookie, Banana Turon Latte, and Pistachio Quattro Latte. The Ham & Cheese Croissant was my favorite; it was small, but really soft and good. The Cheese Corn Cookie was okay, it was too sweet for me. The Banana Turon Latte was strong and sweet with hints of banana flavor. The Pistachio Quattro Latte was smooth, not as sweet, and perfect amount of flavor. My fav drink here is the strawberries & cream matcha latte. It's soooo good I feel like a big back sometimes bc I'll finish it in like 3 sips lol. This is a nice cafe to study in. However, it gets busy and loud quick so make sure you bring your headphones if you plan on being productive! My bf got the banana toffee latte and he loved it. I also really like their soft serves if you're craving a sweet treat. I usually get the salted honey matcha. They give you the matcha in a tiny cup to pour it in yourself. Definitely worth the drive if you're eyeing this place!
Second time at Kei, and this visit we decided to try some of their new seasonal drinks! I ordered the Aussie Series - Vietnamese Coffee, which had a bold, rich Vietnamese coffee flavor topped with soft serve. Once the soft serve melted into the coffee, it became much sweeter, so keep that in mind if you prefer your coffee less sweet. We also tried the Strawberries & Cream Latte, which was on the sweeter side as well with a strong strawberry flavor throughout. Their spicy popcorn chicken continues to be our favorite! The chicken has a great texture, is well-seasoned, and the sauce pairs perfectly with it. I just wish it packed a little more heat. The only item that fell short was the ham and cheese croissant. It had a very small amount of ham inside, and more than half of the croissant was just plain bread. At $6.95, it didn't feel worth the price. The café itself is huge with plenty of seating, but it was still consistently busy even on a Thursday morning, so finding a spot can be tricky if you're picky. It can get pretty loud, though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place to study. We noticed a lot of people getting work done with headphones on, and I think it's a great spot for casual meetups, catching up with friends, or hanging out over coffee.
What a beautiful place! Kei Coffee House has such a nice and big interior. There are different types of seating to accommodate a casual meet up to a space for people who want to work or look busy :). I came during a weekday early morning so there was no line and the Corn Cheese Cookie ($3.50) was still available. I loved this cookie! I warmed it up at home and it was great! To be honest, I would be okay without the cheese as it got a bit too heavy for me, but I still liked it nonetheless. I also tried their Triple Coconut Coffee ($7.50). For the price, it's such a meh drink. The Coconut flavor wasn't strong enough and the coffee wasn't really there either. I couldn't bring myself to finish the drink. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the cookies and probably try a different drink!

I got the Pandan Coconut Matcha and I could still taste its authenticity while appreciating the flavor notes of the drink. I also like that the matcha drinks are made with oat milk as a standard. Food and drinks are reasonably priced (matcha $7.25 and spam mausubi $3.50). Service is quick and you get a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready. Inside is very large and ample seating options but it gets full quickly as it's a popular place to study. There are seats outside too but it would be nice to have more opportunity to sit inside next time. Overall a good cafe to check out.
This was our first stop for the weekend, for our cafe/foodie tour. My niece said I would love it especially because they had breakfast burritos lol. She knows me well. I did not do any research prior to going here, I know menus change and I just wanted to take it all in. When we arrived it wasn't super busy, the place itself was big, bright, and inviting. The lady who took our order was super nice. I even went back in line to order additional items... We tried: 1. Longanisa burrito: This was surprisingly meaty and not all egg like some places. It was juicy and flavorful. 2. Waffle fries: I don't know why I was originally thinking french toast sticks, but this went perfect with the burrito. 3. Salted cream Vietnamese coffee: Perfect pick me up and it tasted freshly brewed like a pour over 4. Classic egg sando: My cousin and I made room for this fluffy goodness. I've always watched people eating egg sandos on social media and I have yet to try one like this. This was a perfect balance of egg salad ans bread. 5. Corn cheese cookie : I figured my cousin would like this, but I was surprised how you could taste the corn cheese in it. It was consistent throughout. 6. Matcha white chocolate cookie: This one was my favorite. Perfect balance of matcha with the sweetness of white chocolate. 7. Strawberries & Cream cookie: I was surprised that this wasn't overly sweet. 8. Walnut Chocolate Cookie: The walnuts gave the cookie a crunch and balanced out the chocolate goodness. Overall, everything we tried was amazing and I can't wait to come back soon and try the other items they have. I highly recommend this place, and suggest coming early.
10/10 on everything. The cafe is so spacious with plenty of space to study and hang out. Lots of natural lighting. I got the Vietnamese Coffee with Sea Salt cream. The Viet coffee was bitter as it should, which is great, and the sea salt cream was creamy and balancing out the bitterness of the coffee very well. Also got the pistachio cream matcha. The matcha is strong and the pistachio cream has real pistachio on top and the cream itself tastes like real pistachio (not the fake pistachio flavor).
i finally can try Kei Coffee after along time, because the shop is always look busy. I have to admit the matcha coconut taste so good that I still can remember the taste of it later on. It taste like the real Expensive matcha that I have tried it in Japan before Service is excellent The Ambiance is very modern and relaxing will be back for more
This place has some really interesting drink and pastry offerings. I noticed they recently added an Aussie Latte Vietnamese Coffee topped with soft serve ice cream. I'm a sucker for anything with ice cream, so I had to give it a try. It was really good! The coffee itself wasn't overly strong or bitter like traditional Vietnamese coffee, which made it easy to drink. My only complaint is the portion size. It was around $8, and I wish there had been a little more of it. I also couldn't pass up the Corn Cheese Cookie since I'd never eaten one before. It was surprisingly delicious. The corn flavor really came through, and the cheese reminded me of the sweet cream cheese filling you'd find in a cheese Danish. My only complaints was, once again, the size. It disappeared way too quickly. Overall, this is a great spot for unique coffee drinks and tasty pastries. I just wish the portions were a little more generous for the price.
Longon panna cotta, Hong Kong egg tart, and almond croissant were great! Hit the spot. Would get again. Popcorn chicken also tastes great but, every time, there's barely any chicken. Not worth $9.50. Aussie Thai Tea Coconut Latte was unbelievably sweet. Waffle fries were fine--uninteresting texture and not much flavor. Chicken Alfredo was plain and dry. Spicy miso egg sando was uncomfortably fishy.
I arrived at around noon on a Wednesday and it was packed! There's plenty of seating but each table was occupied so if you're planning on working/studying here i would suggest arriving early. It's located in a plaza so there's ample parking available. I originally ordered the earl gray matcha but the tea leaves on the top was so overpowering it tasted almost floral to me which was disappointing since I don't like floral flavors. I asked to get the corn matcha instead and it was pretty good. The corn syup they use has itty bitty bits of corn (im assuming) in it so that was a surprise. I didnt love the drink immediately but once everything was mixed I really came to enjoy it. Although, it didnt have a strong matcha flavor. I would come back to try the food but get a different drink!

There wasn't too much of a wait at all, and there was plenty of seating. I really adore the interior and appreciated how clean it was. It is a comfortable spot to chat or to study! I originally came to try a drink, but somehow, I landed myself on their pandan coconut soft serve instead haha I really liked how they had a lot of unique flavors for their soft serve options! (*note, you have to order the soft serve with the counter instead of the self-kiosk) The pandan flavor was good and there were nice coconut flakes and meat in the middle of the ice cream! I wish there was a bit more in the size, but it was solid. I tried my friends' drinks; I forgot the flavors D: But they were alright. Would come back again to try more soft serve flavors haha

Just like their restaurants, they are keeping on brand with now a coffee house. So big, minimalist and modern aesthetic they have here with plenty of room to work, study, meet up or hang out. Honorable mention to their corn cheese cookie. Oh my word! Sooo good! It's more like a dessert than just a cookie. I would go back any time I'm within even 10 miles of the vicinity of Westminster. I live almost an hour away and I couldn't wait to try their coffee since all of the KEI Concept restaurants are worthy of special occasions and out of town guests. The iced vanilla latte was my beverage since I generally start with classic drinks when trying a new place. If a coffee shop can produce really good basic drinks for me, then I tend to venture back and try other drinks and specialty items. That's just me. So I will be back to try the corn cheese latte! The service was also great. KEI Concept as a company is doing everything right. Please open a location, any kind (restaurant, coffee, desserts), in L.A.! I know it will be amazing! Sorry no photos of the cookie and drink that I got. I was on an important call when I walked in, and just devoured it. Next time I go I will add more photos! read more

Kei Coffee House lives up to the hype. Despite being one of the busiest coffee shops around, the space is thoughtfully designed and spacious enough to handle the crowds without feeling overwhelming. The drinks were the real star. Easily some of the most curated and creative coffee beverages I've had. Every sip felt intentional, balanced, and expertly crafted. The menu offers a huge variety of unique options beyond your standard coffee shop lineup, making it difficult to choose just one. Both drinks we tried were an easy 10/10. The food offerings looked excellent as well, though we came primarily for the coffee. The only downside is parking, which can be challenging during peak hours due to the café's popularity. read more

Came in to try the Corn Matcha Latte, but found out it couldn't be made dairy-free :-( The cashier instead suggested the Strawberry Matcha (with oat milk), which had both strawberry purée and freeze dried strawberries in it! The drink was super strawberry forward that I actually wished more of the matcha flavor would have shined through. Beautiful cafe with lots of space to sit, work, and enjoy! read more

No surprise... ANOTHER winning establishment from the famous Kei Concept family! Just down a few blocks from the Brookhurst-Edinger corner... My friend had a double matcha & I had the Kinako matcha latte. Both delicious! We also took one of each cookie to go. The corn cheese was a good unique flavor choice! The ambiance is beautiful... no surprise! There are many laptop stations, comfortable seating areas & small tables just to chill. We went purposely during the middle of the day hoping to avoid the crowds, but even with that...the parking lot was mostly filled, however, fortunately... there wasn't a line. I can't imagine there's enough parking during peak hours! The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing missing IMO is a drive thru... read more

I went in today to try their new yogurt line and was so satisfied! I loved the "Yogurt Cloud Lychee Jasmine Tea" and the HK Egg Tart! Interior is super spacious with both inside and outside seating. The service was amazing - Shyra was super sweet and patient! Highly recommend stopping by here for a cafe date, study session, or a little pick me up! read more

I'm so in love with this place. Huge parking lot, huge inside, lots of seating but everything can and will fill up! Beautifully decorated cafe with all you could need. Service was great, happy to help and eager to recommend. Ordered Banana Toffee Latte (their default is oat milk, I got whole milk), a burrito with bacon and an egg tart. Everything was amazing. Both salsas come with the burrito and were delicious! Green has a kick to it but it tastes wonderful. Will absolutely come back to try more. read more

Yogurt Cloud Lychee Jasmine - the yogurt is very overpowering and it tastes very tart like Greek yogurt. Was expecting more yakult but it was still good. Lychee wasn't coming through Kinako Hojicha Latte - loved kinako when I had it in Japan however the hojicha is also overpowering. Once mixed I don't taste the kinako powder. As soon as you step in - my breath was taken away by how beautiful it is!! There's such a wide array of drinks to choose from as well. I got greedy for my family and got the *corn latte *matcha Aussie latte *matcha kinoko latte *yogurt tea There's a self-serve kiosk that I really appreciated having the time to just go through the pictures for. I have been to other locations of Kei Concepts so I knew this was gonna be good, yet it still exceeded my expectations! We came for two things specifically: sweet potato creme brulee latte and the sweet corn latte. Both were equally amazing and I can't even pick a favorite, but I guess I would go with the sweet potato, since it's more unique and I haven't had many iced versions. Both of these flavors are fragrant, and you can tell the flavor even before you take a sip. This location is very spacious and despite all of the seating, it was still full for a Friday afternoon. They do have some outdoor seating as well. We also shared the kinako hojicha soft serve, which was yummy, but the kinako is only on the top layer so once you finish that, it's pretty much gone. We also wanted to try the actual roasted bruleed sweet potato but didn't see it on the menu in person, so I'm not sure if it's a seasonal thing. Regardless, we had a great experience with these two drinks and I can't wait to visit again when I am in town! read more

Omg why didn't Kei Coffee House exist when I used to live in Orange County wahhh?! I was an avid supporter of all of the Kei Concepts restaurants during my SoCal era, so I was really curious to check out Kei Coffee House, but I don't visit OC that often, so it was on the backburner for a while. Luckily, during my (what has become) annual visit, my friend suggested coming here for an early morning cuppa after he swooped me from SNA, so I didn't have to wait THAT long. I got the pandan coconut matcha, and it was amazinggg, tasted straight up like the essence of a tropical paradise. This is a really great addition to OC and a place I look forward to visiting again. The interior is so nice and spacious with a lot of seating and plants, which reminds me of the cafes in Asia. OC is lucky to have this cool new-to-me café. read more

Considering all the hype and good reviews for this place, I was pretty disappointed with the matcha. I got the Earl Grey Matcha and it was beyond milky. Barely any matcha taste or even earl grey taste. It looks like my drink was hastily made with limited ingredients which was just mostly milk. I didn't even want to finish it. What saved this experience was trying my friend's Corn Cheese Cookie which was buttery, crunchy, moist, and flavorful. I also liked the ambiance with the big and pretty interior with some outdoor seating. They also have lots of free parking in the lot around the restaurant. Kei Coffee House lives up to the hype when it comes to its concept, flavors, and uniqueness. The cafe itself has a spacious yet homey modern feel, making it perfect for working remotely, catching up with friends, and everything in between. I came here on a Thursday afternoon, and it was already packed, but we had no trouble finding seating in their outdoor section. I also want to quickly shout out their video displays showcasing the drinks and food items. It's such a cool touch and really helps them stand out. There are so many options to choose from between the drinks and food, and honestly, I'm not mad about it. Between my partner and me (we ordered a lot), we got the London Fog Matcha, Banana Matcha, Popcorn Chicken, Longanisa Burrito, and a Corn Cheese Cookie. Keeping it simple: everything was absolutely delicious. As of the date of this review, this is the best Earl Grey Matcha I've had. It was perfectly balanced between the floral Earl Grey notes and the grassiness of the matcha. The Longanisa Burrito was hearty and came served with Kei Concept's aji verde sauce. Lastly, I have to call out their Corn Cheese Cookie. It had such a great balance of savory and sweet, and I'm genuinely going to try my best to recreate this at home since I'm in the Bay Area and won't have easy access to it anymore :(. I love all the Kei Concept restaurants so I had to try this coffee shop. The interior is very modern and has quite a few seating areas for you to enjoy your coffee inside with friends or just to get your work done. You can either order at the kiosk or at the counter. This is a no cash establishment. I had the beef pate chaud and Kinako hojicha latte. They were both delicious. I did have problem logging onto their WiFi and I wish they had more outlets for you to plug in your electronic devices. read more

I've been here a handful of times now, and I've gotta say--I love the wide variety of drink options. It's also great that they have food on the menu, so I can grab something to eat if I'm staying for a while and need a quick bite. I love this spot will be back again soon. And especially appreciate Caitlyn service! Ambiance is very spacious with so much seating but it'll always be packed here just a heads up Everything Ive tried here: (Food) Spicy Popcorn Chicken- So good very meaty chicken and the dipping sauce is good. Spam musubi- Small but flavor is so good price makes it worth it Bacon burrito- So good Sweet bolognese spaghetti- kinda sweet but still good Bacon carbonara- Can't go wrong with this one so good Sweet potato creme brûlée- sweet treat so good (Drinks) Blueberry yogurt slush- so good and refreshing but the consistency was too thick for me Orange matcha tonic- so refreshing and yum Sweet corn latte- got it less sweet and I would just go with regular sweetness cause the less sweet tasted like 0% sweetness read more

I like that they have self-order kiosks and Toast online ordering, so there's rarely a line. You also get 3-4 hours of Wi-Fi with a purchase, so make sure to keep your text or printed receipt. Their bathroom is very clean. Kei Coffee is beautifully designed with a great ambiance for getting work done. There are group and solo seats, but it usually gets crowded after 10:30am. The food, especially the burrito, is solid like the other Kei Concept spots. The drinks are just okay though. Besides the Vietnamese coffee, most of the coffee drinks taste incredibly weak. The matcha has also been disappointing every time I've tried it since their grand opening- too milky and watered down despite being ceremonial grade. The hojicha is good. Overall, it's a nice spot to catch up with friends or lock in and work. Drinks are fine if you just need something sweet. read more

I didn't have a great first visit of this place a few months ago but I'm glad I came back. I ordered their yogurt cloud lychee jasmine tea and it was so good. I genuinely would come back just for the yogurt cloud drinks. The foam on top is yogurty and is tangy and creamy and goes perfect with the bottom tea part of the drink. The only thing I would say is that the drink was a bit too sweet and i would get less sweet next time. Their cookies were already sold out at 3pm on a weekend so would have to come back earlier next time in order to get one. read more

I perfected my order here - pandan matcha with matcha foam. It's chefs kiss! For some reason, the matcha foam is not available for online ordering so I go inside to order on weekdays. On weekdays, it's crazy in there so I would recommend ordering online for pick up. My brother in law tried both the banana lattes and liked the toffee one over the turon! It's always a good experience here! I've tried a few things, but most recently the triple coconut Thai tea and pandan coconut matcha. I was shocked at how good the triple coconut Thai tea blended drink is! So perfectly sweet and perfect blend of Thai tea and coconut flavors. read more

Very nice coffee shop, parking is a bit hard to find sometimes as they get really busy. Service is very good. It has lots of seating and is a good place to chill with friends, but maybe isn't the best for working as it can be loud due to how busy they can get. Drinks are overall just okay. I've had a variety of drinks - Tried the Strawberry Double Matcha this time, and it was lacking both the matcha AND strawberry flavor! The food is pretty yummy and fairly consistent in quality. Their corn cheese cookie is the best! Will continue coming back as they have a good variety on their menu, just hope maybe the quality can go back to how it was when they first opened. read more

I love their drinks here, they have so many unique flavors such as banana turon latte. I got the coconut matcha this time and it was so refreshing on a hot day. I ordered pick up and they were ready in about 15 minutes. I also got the longanisa burrito and the banana toffee latte which was good as well. I'd definitely recommend this spot! read more

The service was great, sweet and accommodating staff. The environment was beautiful, lots of good sunlight in there. However, the coffee was not the best. I've noticed that certain coffee shops use an oatmilk that kind of overwhelms coffee based drinks- i fear that is what happened here. The drink had an off taste, it wasn't horrible but it is not something I would order again. Maybe their matcha is better but I will have to take that with an optimistic guess. Again, beautiful shop and friendly staff- I'd find it perfect for a midday study session :) P.S. Spicy Miso Egg Sandwich was a nice light lunch! read more

Hello! We use silicone mats for egg bites and parchment paper and baking trays for baked goods. We have receipts that use thermal paper but our point of sale system allows guests to have receipts sent to them digitally.
Do we need take reservations?
We do not take reservations and operate on a first come first serve basis. We look forward to seeing you during business hours!
Are your hours 9 am permanently?
As we work out our kinks and refine our flow of things, we plan to have earlier opening hours, but during this initial opening period, we will remain open at 9am. Stay tuned for any business hour changes!
