Summer Special: Hojicha Jelly Tea - 7/10 Refreshing and creamy--perfect for a hot summer day. The pandan matcha was about a 6/10 for me. The matcha quality wasn't the best, and the pandan was somewhat thick and took more effort to mix in. The hojicha jelly drink was like a 7.5-8/10. This coffee & tea shop is a good place to hang out and study as there are a fair amount of tables, with pretty good and reasonably priced drinks. My drink came out in good time too. I tried their new coconut matcha. It was less than $7, which is a "steal" nowadays. The coconut water was good and the matcha foam was too. I got the foam at half sweet and I think that it was a good middle between maintaining matcha's bitterness and having some sweetness. Unfortunately, my low rating is due to their sanitation. I went to use the restroom, where they were out of soap. I let a worker know . I studied here for a few more hours then went to use the restroom once more before I left. The soap dispenser was now full but barely worked and what came out did not lather. This is because they had replaced the soap dispenser with hand sanitizer. Highly recommend the tofu matcha latte. Very refreshing, not too dense, not too sweet, and silkier than an egg pudding. MUST TRY!! This is my all time favorite place to get matcha. I stopped by during the week of their grand opening and have come back more times than I can count. One of my favorite things to order here is their strawberry matcha. The way they make it allows you to taste the strawberries while still keeping the matcha flavor strong. Many places overpower their drinks with strawberry puree, but this place gets the balance perfect every time. The strawberry matcha was my go to order until they came out with their uji tofu matcha. I love matcha, and I love tofu pudding, but the two of them combined are perfect. I would say, though, if you order the uji tofu matcha, you should get it at 75% sweetness because the tofu pudding makes the drink a little sweeter. Loved the modern interior and aesthetic. I ordered their Vietnamese Coffee because I was extremely sluggish one day. Was very rich in flavor, and has the typical boldness I absolutely love in a Vietnamese coffee. The one critique I have about their serving size is that my drink had way too much ice in it. It felt like my drink was 70% ice and 30% drink, which didn't allow me to enjoy my coffee fully since I finished it so quickly. It doesn't make or break my decision about coming back to the coffee shop though. They do have other pastries and drinks I would love to try. Okay, I have to increase my rating to 5 stars because I am addicted to their matcha tofu- 50% sweet is perfect! Apparently they have a sweetened oat milk & an unsweetened oat milk, so they just vary the ratio if you ask for less sweet. 50% doesn't taste too sweet but has a deeper richer flavor than 0% sweet. The tofu is so savory & delicious & the perfect light amount of sweeteness. They recently added the options for regular or large size, which I am a fan of. The double strawberry matcha is the best matcha I have ever had. Coming from me - that says a lot. I have tried hundreds of matchas and this one is hands down the best I have ever had. Their matcha is top quality, their strawberry puree is so fresh. They use oat milk for their drinks and it makes for such a smooth, creamy matcha. The uji tea with tofu pudding was EXCELLENT. I got mine 50% sweet and it was perfect. I love their tofu pudding, a very unique drink topping that's a healthier alternative to boba or egg pudding. We also got a bowl of ginger tofu pudding which was DIVINE and I still think about it all the time. It has good ginger flavor and isn't too sweet and the texture is like a cross between traditional tofu pudding x almond jello iykyk. I can't wait to come back! read more

Last year, I tried placing a phone order and they refuse to take my order and said I had to go in-person. I went in-person and it took them so long to make my drinks despite how many workers were there. I recently been back a few times and I feel like they are slowly trying to improve their efficiency, but they aren't that efficient yet. They did implement an ordering kiosk and the online order option. I feel like it's still lacking because even though drinks are promised at a certain time, it's really not ready yet. We often have to wait at the pickup area for our order and there's no lines and no numbers that get called out. I think they should have a speaker or a screen that shows order numbers that is being worked on and orders that are ready. Anyways, I do like their mini croissants and their beignets. The croissants are enjoyable and addicting because they are small! Beignets are big and soft! Drinks are just decent to me. read more
