Everytime, I drive by this location, the line is always long and out the door. This is a nice modern matcha and coffee spot. They serve delicious pastries, sandwiches, and merch items. Ordered: Honey Chrysanthemum Tea - 50% sweet & 50% Ice --- $6.00 This floral iced tea was super refreshing with basil seeds and touch of honey. Beignets - $.75 - It was fresh, fluffy and delicious treat. Patechaud - $2.75 -Ground pork savory pastry to go. The flavor was good. Avocado Blended Coffee --- $6.00 It was interesting to drink creamy avocado mixed into their special Vietnamese phin coffee. It was good strong coffee drink. Good service and friendly staff. Perfect for a group hangout, study, and work telecommute. Plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Viland Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped w/ creme brulee foam

Good coffee. Service good. Small modern place. Came here on a Monday and it seemed a bit short-staffed, so there was a bit of a wait, but the service was still friendly and solid. I finally decided to try it since I pass by all the time on Bolsa Avenue (it's hard to miss). Parking was easy, just find a spot in the lot and walk over. The space is clean and modern, though a bit small for hanging out compared to Da Vien across the street. I got the Viland Coffee (Vietnamese coffee with creme brulee foam), and it was pretty good, definitely something I'd order again... after trying a few other items on their menu. Overall, would recommend!

Decided to drop in during the day on weekday and can confirm no wait. However, be forewarned this place gets poppin off-work hours! The Pandan Matcha Latte was good. Make sure to really stir it up to get the best taste. Came out promptly. The Flan Cheesecake was divine. If you love both desserts, this is a great hybrid. Would get this again! Overall, this is a cute spot but not worth the long wait (unless that's just your thing).

Uji Matcha Tofu - the most unique drink of the menu imo! The tofu is silky and lightly sweet

This spot redeemed itself with the Uji Matcha Tofu! The silky texture and light sweetness of the tofu pair surprisingly well with the matcha. It's both unique and yummy ~ Honey Chrysanthemum Tea: Light, refreshing, fun bites of basil seeds. Pandan Coffee Latte: Not bad! Coffee overpowered the taste of pandan. Service and quality control can be a hit or miss. One of the coffee drinks was not filled, and the worker reluctantly filled the empty space between the ice. If someone pays the full amount for a full cup, why is there any hesitation and attitude in making sure the customer properly receives what they paid for? The shop itself is on the smaller side, so seating can feel a bit cramped, and it's often crowded. The decor is cute though! One thing I'd probably skip next time is the beignets. They might be better fresh or warmed up, but when I've had them, they've tasted a bit stale and didn't live up to the rest of the menu. If you're looking to try something a little different and memorable, I highly recommend their Uji Matcha Tofu!

Vietnamese Coffee (3.5/5)   Stopped by Viland Coffee while I was in OC and was very impressed with their ambiance! The inside of the coffee shop was vibrant and lively. Loved the modern interior and aesthetic. I ordered their Vietnamese Coffee because I was extremely sluggish one day. Was very rich in flavor, and has the typical boldness I absolutely love in a Vietnamese coffee. The one critique I have about their serving size is that my drink had way too much ice in it. It felt like my drink was 70% ice and 30% drink, which didn't allow me to enjoy my coffee fully since I finished it so quickly. It doesn't make or break my decision about coming back to the coffee shop though. They do have other pastries and drinks I would love to try. Probably will need to ask to adjust the ice level for next time.

Soooo good! You can taste the real ceremonial matcha flavor. The house tofu is so soft and delicious. I love how they make it fresh every day. Reminds me of the tofu dessert my mom always brings home. It has the right amount of sweetness and softness texture to it. Double strawberry matcha was so yummy too. Not too sweet and perfect amount of strawberry foam and strawberry puree. Highly recommend this places I'm happy every time I come up there's not a long line. There's a kiosk you can order from too that makes your visit go quickly. I drive all the way from San Diego just for this.

I recently visited Viland Coffee & Tea this past weekend and it instantly became a spot I'd come back to just for one thing--their tofu matcha. The tofu matcha is seriously that good. It's smooth, flavorful, and unlike anything I've had before. I'd honestly go out of my way just to get that drink again. The service was also great--friendly, fast, and efficient, which made the whole visit quick and easy. The shop has a nice, casual vibe that makes it a good stop whether you're grabbing something to go or hanging out for a bit.

The double strawberry matcha is the best matcha I have ever had. Coming from me - that says a lot. I have tried hundreds of matchas and this one is hands down the best I have ever had. Their matcha is top quality, their strawberry puree is so fresh. They use oat milk for their drinks and it makes for such a smooth, creamy matcha. I live about 20 minutes away and have been going every week since I discovered it. Beware of the parking - it is an absolute nightmare. The wait time for the drinks an also be a tad long but tbh it's soooo worth it. I've also tried their almond croissant, their pistachio croissant, and their minis. All were super yummy!

    - this place was so popular and crowded on the weekend! Most of the seats were taken up and many were waiting for their drinks - though we had to wait the staff was still patient and kind when handing over our drinks - I really loved the matcha with tofu pudding on it! The tofu taste was strong though but I could still taste that quality matcha (which wasn't bitter or powdery at all)

Cute coffee spot in Westminster! It definitely gets pretty crowded here on weekends. The first thing that caught my eye about this spot is that they serve beignets! And they're actually good! They're freshly made in house and dusted with powdered sugar. You can also add on cream to dip them in, which I definitely recommend doing! The other thing that caught my eye is their Uji Matcha Tofu drink! They put soft silky tofu in the matcha drink, and it works well together! I was a little hesitant at first since I don't really like toppings that interrupt the drink, but you can suck the tofu through the straw easily. They also have other coffees, blended drinks, teas, and lattes, but I think the Uji Matcha Tofu drink was my favorite! For food items, they also have croissant sandwiches, almost in like a banh mi style! You can choose from beef, pork, or chicken, and the meat is marinated a tasty. It also has lettuce, cilantro, onions, and pickled veggies. They have a variety of croissants (plain, stuffed), and all of them were good! They also have mini croissants that are super cute! You can buy them by the 10-piece or even individually to add on to your drink!

Was initially drawn by the beignets but they were sold out for the day? Will have to come back another time for it Ordered the matcha tofu which was GREAT. Not much matcha coming through - mostly tasted oat milk (I think) or whatever milk they used for the latte. However, the tofu in it was amazing. Slightly nutty and not sweet and it compliments the silky also nutty taste of the latte and earthiness of the matcha. I got 50% sweet but could've done none I think. Very very impressed by this drink specifically the tofu in it. Pandan coffee - was just ok and mainly only tasted coffee. Will definitely be back for beignets, croissant sandwich, and pate chaud. And will definitely order matcha tofu drink again edit. was able to try the thit nuong croissant and the beignets. They were GREAT. loved the meat in the croissant sandwich and they put some tomatoes and lettuce in it which gave it a slight american twist. beignets were pretty good too but I dont eat them often so I cannot speak on the quality compared to others

Young Coconut Matcha Latte & Uji Tofu Matcha
    Celyne D.

I actually came across this place on Instagram and was immediately influenced to try their famous uji matcha tofu... and let me just say, it totally lives up to the hype. The matcha flavor isn't overwhelmingly strong, and the drink itself isn't overly sweet either, which I really appreciated. Everything is super well-balanced, and the silky uji matcha tofu is what really makes this drink stand out. It adds such a unique texture that you don't find just anywhere and honestly makes the whole experience feel a little elevated. I went on a Friday evening and it wasn't super busy. We ordered at the counter, the service was good, and our drinks came out in a pretty reasonable amount of time. My husband ordered the young coconut matcha latte, and unfortunately that one didn't hit the same. It tasted a bit watered down, and the coconut flavor came off more artificial than refreshing. I'd probably skip that one next time and stick with what they do best. Overall, if you're going, the uji matcha tofu is a must-order. It's unique, well-executed, and easily the star of the menu. Definitely a spot worth trying at least once if you're in the area!

Amazing coffee. The pandan is super good, I don't have this type of coffee back home. Worth traveling across the country for this. Cool shop and the beignet was a good pairing.
