Love stopping by and grabbing some dessert before we head home. Simple menu and we always order to go without ice. We add the ice when we get home so it's not melted. Quick service and plenty of seating inside.

This is the second time we've visited this location. You can order ahead through online or order in store. I suggest online unless you want to see if they have a special going on. The first time the line was outside the door and thankfully it was not too much of a wait. We ordered soo much and had to wait an additional time. Lots of people ordering. This second time, we ordered ahead and came during the middle of the afternoon. Was in and out in less than five minutes. We ordered both the Bake Bánh and Dessert Che (Drink). Ambiance it gets busy especially when they have promotional specials. Tables can get sticky and dirty throughout the day, so choose when you want to come if you want to eat there. Che Faves: Pandan Grass Jelly (tastes a little like coffee) and I had the option for ice to be put on the the side so can regulate if I wanted the drink watery. I end up putting ice in the beginning and when I had 1/4 of the drink left. I hate it when ice melts and drinks becoming tasteless. You won't get that with their drinks. We've also tried the three colors and avocado one. I'll stick to my Pandan Grass Jelly. Baked Bánh Faves: These have like a mochi texture so if you are one of those people with texture issues be aware it can get chewy. But it's worth it. You can eat it warmed up or room temperature. B1: Palm Sugar. Not everyone's taste but I like it. It is not too sweet at all B3: Cassava. This is my #1. It stays true to how Cassava should taste and the texture is on point. I get more of this one than anything. B4: Taro. This one is good as well. The Taro makes this one less chewy because it's sort of like a filling. Still good and not too sweet. Do not compare it to Ube Filipino desserts, because it does not taste like our kind of Ube. B6: Flan Cheesecake: This was good. It's not like the Filipino kind but close enough. Worth a try. They also put syrup on the side. Jello: J1: Pandan Coconut: Best one to get. Their jello is not like American Jello. There's more of bite to it. It's still a good texture. Just doesn't dissolve easily like American JELLO. J3: Longan: This one was a weird one for me. I know how fresh longan taste and how the ones in a can also taste. This doesn't taste of either. You get 3 Logans per jello. Try it and let me know what you think. Will I come back? YES, even though it's like a 45 min drive OC traffic!

Got the house special, which overall I was not particularly impressed. Though you can smell & taste the durian flavor, it was overpowering and wish there were actual durian pieces instead. And I only got one piece of jackfruit, boo. The longan jelly wasn't bad, the jelly was on the stiffer side (not the classic jello texture). Appreciated the many longan pieces in that! I'd be down to come again and try their other offerings. On the plus side, the place is clean with plenty of seating. And parking lot available.

Stopped by Bake & Che after lunch for dessert. This location seemed noticeably bigger than the other one I've been to, and surprisingly, it wasn't nearly as busy. The other location always seems to have a line every time I visit, so it was nice being able to walk right in. I ordered the C1 House Special Chè Đặc Biệt, and it was exactly what I was looking for after a meal - a refreshing and sweet (but not overly sweet) dessert. The shop itself felt clean and spacious, with plenty of seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your dessert.

Great service. Very quiet. Durian and jackfruit drinks. A kaleidoscope of flavors. Very convenient and freeway close.

What a refreshing dessert spot! We ordered to-go, and they thoughtfully included a bag of ice on the side. We tried the C4 - Pandan Grass Jelly, and C2 - Thai Dessert. The pandan was on the lighter side, with a more subtle flavor. I enjoyed the Thai Dessert more, it had a great mix of different jellies, including jackfruit and longan, which added nice variety and texture. We also tried the Pandan Coconut and Coffee Coconut Jellies (J1 & J2), both were really good as well!

Hands down, the service at this location was outstanding! I signed up through the app and was supposed to receive a free cake, but for some reason I couldn't redeem it when ordering online. The male staff member assisted immediately, unlike some other locations that simply say the cake is out of stock. He went the extra mile by contacting customer service and resolving the issue right away. In the end, we placed our order in person at the counter and were able to receive the free cake. One of the items we ordered was the Trio Bean Combination, which was delicious. Sweetness level and ice quantity can also be customized, which is always a plus. The café itself was clean and tidy, making the visit even more pleasant. The only downside is that there is no outdoor seating area.

We always go to this location since it's less crowded and the staff are very nice and fast with orders. Highly recommended that you order online in advance if there are BOGO deals. The store is clean and well organized. Our favorites are che 3 mau, che Thai and their jellos. They are always fresh made to order and flavorful :)

Been wanting to try this place due to the hype but everytime we visit there were long lines. Luckily I found out they have an app and decided to order online. Came to pick up and it was fast and easy. Got their house special which was very good and not too sweet. Especially love that they added the peanuts. I also got their taro cake and jello and it was also yummy. If you order on the app the first time there is a free promo for cake. Definitely check this place out!

2025 and 2026 Spring Break stops for desserts. I recall buying the avocado Che and liked it last year and this time, we grabbed the special and Thai Che. This year is lacking a bit. Che thai was missing for me. House Special has durian in it mixed with classic combo of everything Che and durian scent is strong but thankfully my lil one loves it! Service avail if needed or self order through kiosk. We come for convenience as DaVien is next door and accommodates or boys with their drink preferences and coffee for us makes this location a win!

Tried their Special Che which is a combination of jellies, beans, nuts, and durian but you can opt out of whatever you don't want, less sweet, no ice. Still a little too sweet for me but tasty with all the toppings. This is similar to Che you can get from many of the other Vietnamese shops in the area so nothing unique about it. The shop also sells some mini cakes and jellies too.

Hubby stopped by Bake & Che yesterday and grabbed some desserts. Took him a while to come out. Service was a bit slow. He got me a cheese cake & flan dessert to try since I am a bit of a cheesecake enthusiast. This dessert was disappointing because it did not at all taste like cheesecake. Barely had any flavor at all. Did not finish it.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12
