New favorite boba shop and study area!! I'm surprised I haven't seen this place before! It's located in the plaza of Daiso, behind the Great Wolf Lodge. Lots of parking spaces but it's small, so drive safely. Upon walking in, you hear the jingle of the bell hanging near the door. You see plans towards your right and a pleasant citrus smell engulfs the whole shop. It's minimalistic, pure white, and clean. They have an array of teas for you to smell before your purchase. They also have homemade coconut jellies to go with your drink. Their menu is big and placed next to the cash register. The two girls working were a huge help to us and were able to let us know what teas pair well with certain drink styles. Dependent on your drink and tea pairing, the teas are brewed hot and right in front of you with a machine. We decided to try their Korean strawberry milk with banana top and their kirimi tea. I also ordered their mango coconut jelly to try. To our surprise, the drinks came out quickly. You can taste the fresh tea in every sit. The boba was perfectly sweet and not too overpowering to the drink itself. The strawberry milk tasted exactly like what you'd expect, but even better. The coconut jelly had pure mango on it. They even had cute cup sleeves! There are numerous tables and outlets if you decide to do work here. They offer a WiFi code per drink, good for four hours of work for only one device. If you want to stay there and access the WiFi longer or use multiple devices, you'd have to purchase another beverage. It was quiet the whole time we were working there and the place had a steady flow of customers. We felt at ease and comfortable. Seriously one of the best flavored matchas I've ever had. Coconut lychee matcha: Refreshing combo of coconut water, lychee juice & fruit, and matcha with water chestnut boba. Green Thai tea pandan milk: Sweet green Thai tea infused with pandan and pandan jelly. On the sweet side but still good. Their mango silky coconut jelly was also a winner. They sell these jellies in cute little containers in the cooler to the left of the register. Silky is truly an understatement as it melts in your mouth as soon as you eat it. We ordered the Green Thai Pandan, Brown Sugar Oat Milk, Mira Kuru Milk Tea, and Silk Coconut Jelly. The Green Thai Pandan came with complimentary tea jelly, which tasted great. However, the Mira Kuru Milk Tea boba pearls tasted as if they have been steeped in the tea for too long. The Brown Sugar Oat Milk leaned too sweet for me and the tea flavors tasted off. We did not get to try any fruit teas so I would like to come back and get their fruit teas to see if my opinion has changed. The Silky Coconut Jelly was the star of the show. Once you mix the ingredients, the flavors come together in a pleasant way. The proportions also come on a gift size, perfect for sharing! The ambience of this place is perfect for studying, catching up with friends, and just vibing. The tables against the wall fit about three people and there is a table for four people close to the door if you have a bigger party. Staff encouraged us to try out the teas by the counter and they have their top 10 items displayed on the wall as well if you don't know what to get for the first visit. I would come back for the aesthetic design of the drinks and the cups are sturdy so I will give them that. This is just based on the iced Vietnamese drip coffee. I thought it was very good. I got the Saigon milky option that is less strong and more creamy, which I prefer because I find traditional Vietnamese coffee to be too strong for me. They also have the stronger traditional option if you prefer. I added on the sea salt cream. The coffee had good flavor and just enough sweetness. The sea salt cream is not very sweet at all and adds the extra creaminess that I like. Overall very good and one of the better coffees that I've had. The workers are nice and courteous. I'm so bummed that this place isn't closer to the SGV! I've heard good things about Mirakuru on social media and finally had the chance to give it a try after we were in the nearby area for a competition. Luckily they're open fairly late and in a super large shopping center - parking is not an issue at all. Stores around it seem a little more old and out of place but Mirakuru is modern and well lit. Good amount of seats inside if you want to study or chat with friends. I ordered the Saigon milky coffee with sea salt cream $6 + $1.50 as well as a jasmine oolong tea with jasmine tea jelly and sea salt foam $5.75 + $1 + $0.75. These add ons do get pricey but - they were worth the price. Both drinks were a hit. The coffee was smooth and rich, and even though we drank it the next day, it still retained the flavor nicely; as for the tea, incredibly smooth and pure tasting. Loved the tea jelly and the salted cream. Would definitely order these two drinks again. Another friend ordered the Korean strawberry milk and mango coco milk and both really enjoyed their drinks as well. Will be back to try the matcha drinks! Visited Mirakuru since I was in the area and was craving for some drinks after my dinner. I ordered the Mirakuru Moonlight and the Strawberry Black Tea. The Mirakuru Moonlight came with complimentary tea jelly, which was a nice touch. It was refreshing overall, though even at 50% sweetness it leaned a bit too sweet for me, and the tea flavor didn't come through as much as I hoped. I was able to taste some of the fruits at least. I may need to reduce the sweetness more if I get this drink again. Honestly, the ambience was cool but was pretty disappointed in the menu options and execution of my Korean Strawberry milk. I'm lactose intolerant so dairy free and it was at night so I opted for the Korean strawberry milk. I wanted to try the sweet corn foam so badly so I made the sacrifice but wish they offered a non-dairy version of it. There was 1, literally 1 slice of a strawberry in my drink. You'll notice it's mostly white. I wish they told me up front they didn't have enough strawberry so I could either pivot or be mentally prepared for the lack of strawberry in the strawberry milk.
