Wait can look discouraging, but it actually goes by super quick! AC improved since they first open which is great. I been here a few times and tried many items. Bot Chien is pretty good, but it takes awhile to come out. My usual would be the Bo Ne Waygu Sot Trung Muoi. Anything with salted egg yolk, I would usually opt for. I love the sauce and salted egg yolk with bread. The combo is so good. I also like their Peach Lemongrass Tea, it's sweet, so I try to ask for less sweet. I wish they improve on the water cup sizes. my favrotie spot for the sizzingly steak. All the other asian fusion well known spots.... THIS IS THE ONE. I come here pretty regularly and even my older asian parents love it too. Between the crispy rice chicken dish, salmon dish and the sizzingly beef plate. This is just a rotation of dishes i get whenever I stop by with the family. This is a great spot for some great brunch without the lines. They are known for their Bo Ne and egg coffee. Food came quickly, and everything was very flavorful. Pretty solid and a great appetizer. -Ca Phe Trung (Egg Coffee): A great egg coffee! I liked how there was a lot of fluffy and soft egg cream. The coffee was strong and sweet which I liked. This was on my list to try because I keep seeing it on IG. The place took over the old Lao restaurant so it relatively small but ample of seating. The decor is keep simple. Today, we tried the bò né and phá lấu. The food is average, nothing stand out. I was skeptical when the pha lâu came out, it lack the color. It turn out to be sweet with lots of liquid and very little organs. The bo ne was good in flavor but they overcooked the meat so it become chewy. The price is reasonable so I guess it compensate. The drink is good, but not the best. Coconut coffee has more coffee flavor than coconut. The egg coffee is overly sweet, but flavor is there. Fast and friendly service. I had not realized this was a sit down restaurant so I felt a bit awkward only purchasing coffee but the staff was friendly and helpful when i asked for coffee recommendations. My coffee was ready within 2-3 minutes of me paying. The coffee was perfect in my opinion, nothing too sweet and the strong coffee flavor still came through. Came here on a Sunday and it was packed we waited about 20-25 minutes before getting seated, which is pretty expected for a popular spot on the weekend. Once we were in, service was fairly quick. Our server did forget our drinks at first, but they made up for it with large cups of water, which we appreciated. We ordered three versions of the bo ne the wagyu with black pepper sauce, wagyu with pate sauce, and wagyu with salted egg yolk along with the spicy noodle soup with tendon beef and beef ball (Bun Gan Bo Vien Sate). The bo ne is clearly the star here, and we knew that going in. My personal favorite was the pate it was the most well-balanced of the three and honestly my ideal bo ne. The black pepper was on the saltier side, which works if that's your thing. The salted egg yolk was good at first, but it got heavy and tiring pretty quickly. The salad on the side was a nice touch it helped cut through the richness and fat. One thing I noticed with the bo ne overall: the flavors are very one-note, so by the end of the meal there's not much you can do to keep each bite exciting. I found myself picking off fresh basil just to add some brightness. It's definitely a dish better enjoyed in smaller quantities and as a shared plate rather than each person having their own. Three orders between three people was a lot. The Bun Gan Bo Vien Sate was decent similar to bún bò Huế if you've had that before. It just needed a bit more salt for my taste. Overall, I'd come back, but next time I'd order just one bo ne for the table to share and explore more of the menu from there. read more

Their portions are SO filling. We got the fried shrimp and fries as an appetizer! They give you so much shrimp for the price- it's shell on, so you can eat the delicious breading as well. They have a cozy setup with a handful of tables inside and a couple outside, but the space is clean, well styled, and has a great vibe. So from all the pictures, the claim to fame here is their sizzling beef plates (bo ne) and it's our 3rd or 4th time going so they do it just right and at the right price. This last go round, we got the salted black pepper; it was served with a small salad and a freshly baked piece of bread (excellent crumb and texture). We also got the meatball with bread (banh mi xiu mai) which came with three generously sized meatballs and a delicious sauce that we paired with the black pepper on the Bo ne. The only disappointment of the night was the garlic noodles with lobster, they were overall lackluster but the other two dishes more than made up for it. The service was a little slow but understood as there was a birthday party being thrown for one of the staff members. We started off with the Lobster with Garlic Noodles and personally I'm one of those people when I see lobster I want me some lobster. Unfortunately it was just enough for me to want more and I wasn't going to order another round to satisfy me. Next was the Bò Né with Wagyu and Pâté. I came on a late Saturday afternoon and it was thankfully not too crowded. There were a couple tables outside and plenty of seating inside. I started with the Pandan milk tea, which reminded me of cereal milk in a good way! The egg coffee was strong, just the way I like it and I loved the creamy egg yolk foam. The lobster tail was sautéed in a mild garlicky chili oil and the noodles were more on the subtle side, but balanced the flavorful lobster well. Just wish there was more lobster meat! It was a small, satisfying bowl packed with flavor! For my main dish, I chose to get their Bo Ne Wagyu Sot Kem Nam (Sizzling Wagyu Beef with Creamy Mushroom Sauce) ($21). They have several Wagyu dishes on the menu but being a mushroom fan, I couldn't pass up on this sizzling Wagyu beef dish with creamy mushroom sauce. It is swerved with salad and bread. The bread was perfect for dipping in the savory, thick mushroom sauce. This dish was decadent balance of umami and juiciness! A perfect pair with my main dish was the Mien Xao Chay (Vegetarian Stir Fry Glass Noodles) ($12). I enjoyed the long silky noodles that were topped with soft slices of tofu, crispy cucumber and juicy tomatoes. It paired very well with the Wagyu dish1 Lastly I got their Vietnamese Iced Coffee with condensed milk. One cannot go to Sip Restaurant & Coffee without getting a "sip" of their drinks! Westminster is the area for great Vietnamese coffee and SIP is not an exception. This place knows how to make good and strong coffee! My Vietnamese Iced Coffee as full bodied and deep flavored. Wow! Strolled in today to this gem and it really exceeded my expectations. This place is known for thier Bo Ne which is skillet beef and egg with variations. The beef with this dish was Super high quality and tasty. We also had pasta/ beef dish which also had great flavor. We had the passion fruit soda which came with real passion fruit. The steak was cooked nicely, tender and full of flavor, sticky rice was perfectly seasoned, and the chicken had that savory kick with the sauce. For drinks, I tried the passion fruit soda and the pandan milk. The passionfruit tea was refreshing, and the pandan milk really stood out. It's creamy, lightly sweet, and has that unique flavor. Dear Sip, Food is tops here came here twice already for lunar new years. Grand food and the dishes are all yummy. The wait times are not long even lunch rush, they take care of us quickly. When ordering they help us pick easily and give great recommendations so dishes are all done all at once. Amazing service worth it. The atmosphere is nice too seating is good and music is nice. love this place!!! The best Bo Ne!!! They also have the best baguette. Baguette is crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Beef is nicely cooked. If you come here during brunch prime time, expect to wait. read more

Food was excellent. Service a little slow, drinks ok. I have been seeing this place all over social media and have been meaning to try it. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent. However, service was a little slow. The restaurant was small and not too busy. We came on a weekend around 11 am. Ordered a few things off the menu and several drinks. My favorite was the sup nui. Reminds me of my childhood comfort food. The banh mi chao was also excellent. We also had the garlic noodles and the hoi an chicken. That dish was probably my least favorite but still very good. The chicken wings were also very very good. All the drinks were also very good. Will definitely be coming back. read more
