We placed an order online and did pick up this time. We were only 15 mins away when we placed our order and by the time we reached, our order was ready. Easy check-in for the pickup. Grilled pork spring rolls is still solid. Perfect portion of grilled pork, crispy eggrolls wrapped bits, and fresh veggies. Each order comes with 4 rolls and a good size cup of their famous dipping sauce. Love eating these with fresh Thai chili peppers. Did notice that there is a customer only parking sign in the parking lot and a security person walking around the parking lot. This was new to us.
It was my first time visiting this place on a Friday night and the food was absolutely delicious! The only downside was the service was great but the kitchen was pretty slow. It took around ~30 mins for our mango sticky rice to come out near the end. The rolls are amazing and my favorite were the grilled pork rolls! We also got the shrimp and pork rolls and the sauce with those were delicious For entree we ordered the beef with garlic noodles and that was the BEST garlic noodles I've ever had. The sauce was so good and the beef was tender! I would come back just for this dish. For dessert we ordered mango sticky rice. Although this took a while to come out, it was still delicious. I personally prefer a thicker coconut sauce and this was more on the runny side. Overall good experience and I think we just happened to come when they are a bit short staffed. I would come back again!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in OC. I love their grilled pork spring rolls, they are so flavorful and I love the sauce it comes with. Their pork was also good, but I love the shrimp paste. the portion size is also good. This location is typically less crowded than the Fountain Valley location as well, so it was esy to walk in and get a table!
Once again- awesome customer service from Vi/Vy. She was busy helping multiple customers and still able to give me my to-go order when it was ready to go. Friendly exceptional service from her. Food was delicious as usual. The rolls and stir fry noodles - fresh and flavorful. Clean spacious restaurant with plenty of park that can fill up during peak hours.
Locates in the same parking lot as In-N-Out. This is for Nem Nuong/ Pork Spring rolls! I cannot find another location that tastes better. I tried a few others but they just did not taste the same. Their dipping sauce - I cannot replicate! Dipping sauce enhances the spring rolls to another level. Everyone in my family love them. It was easy to order on the phone and pick up the next day. I didn't have to wait in line or wait for food to be prepared. Staff was cordial and explained details of order on the phone. I'd definitely order again. Parking is plenty in the front. Years ago, I couldn't hardly find parkings but when I arrived recently, there were plenty of parkings.

While the asparagus and beef spring roll had a different crunch from the asparagus. Definitely one of the best spring rolls I have had and will be back for these spring rolls! - Brodard vermicelli was delicious and had good variety of protein - shrimp, grilled chicken, grilled pork, and crispy egg rolls. - Picked up a mango dessert when picking up food and it was pricey (~$14) but it was amazing - layers of mango mousse with a layer of mango cubes.
Brodard Chateau is the more upscale fine dining version of Brodard in Fountain Valley. This restaurant offers a quieter and more relaxing dining environment. Service was quick and attentive. This is what we ordered: 1. Grilled pork spring rolls - delicious. Must order! 2. Shaken beef with garlic noodles - This is the best! Must order! 3. Udon with shrimp - Not flavorful. Pass. 4. Moon Cake (aka rice cakes with shrimp) - Nice presentation Portion sizes were somewhat smaller than those at Brodard. The beautiful presentation of each dish and impeccable service made up for the smaller portion sizes.
This place is a go to when you are in garden grove or near Anaheim. The must haves are the spring rolls one order of the bbq and one of the shrimp. The restaurant is always packed so put your name down early. The service is good and the food comes out in a good amount of time. The restaurant is clean and big. Brodard is a must see when in SoCal.
I don't have any complains for this place. All of the dishes we had were great. I like their Banh xeo and jackfruit salad
Brodard Chateau is one of my parents' favorite restaurants, and for good reason. The vibe is smart casual and the service is always very good. Staff is professional and friendly. Food here is consistently great here, too. They are known for their pork spring rolls (nem nuong), so that is a must order. We get them every visit! The summer spring rolls are great, as well. One of my favorite dishes here is the Brodard Chateau Vermicelli (bun dac biet) as the portion is great, and I love how there's all the meats on it. This place is a favorite for a reason!
Came here on Sunday night for my dad's birthday. We were a party of 13 so our server was busy. He was very attentive and so was the girl who helped him. The food was great. I didn't capture a picture of everything we ordered but the scallops in black bean sauce were my favorite dish. The spring rolls were also a good pick. The moon cake was tasty and the garlic noodles were packed with flavor. The restaurant is pretty big and was very accommodating to our big party. It's a little on the pricey side but the food was worth it.
My family loves the rolls here among everything else. Service is always friendly. Great place for date night and enough space for large group meals.
Brodard Chateau is a Vietnamese restaurant that combines high quality ingredients and presentation to traditional Vietnamese cuisine which results in a great experience. I recently dined in the Brodard Chateau's private dining room. This review focuses on this visit. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Brodard Chateau has a private dining room that can seat about 20 people. The room is long and narrow, so there was a primary table set up in the middle (one long table) and additional booth seating as well. The black tables matched the well-appointed dark wooden walls too. The room had an upscale feel. 1 Star. Service - The staff was great. We had multiple servers take our drink and addition orders (e.g. dessert). The menu was set, but halfway through our meal they took away dirty plates and kept things well organized. Food kept coming out and we never felt like we waited between dishes. Great service! 1 Star. Food - Since this was a set menu, I'll list what made the biggest impression on me - the Grilled Pork Spring Rolls (nem nướng cuốn). The crispy egg roll wrapper tucked inside the roll gives it a memorable crunch, and the dipping sauce elevates it even further. I could have just eaten these roles for my dinner. But when I walked into Brodard Chateau, their desserts caught my attention. Behind the glass were some beautiful macaroons and cakes, but unfortunately, they were all a bit dry. But no big deal, I was there for the nem nướng cuốn. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While Brodard Chateau has a great private room for an intimate dinner, my next visit will be in the main dining room so I can try all the great dishes. But...I'll skip dessert. 1 Star.

Heard lots of good things about Broadard restaurants but never had the opportunity to try it till today. Was not disappointed! Think of this as a more fancy Vietnamese restaurant, definitely not your hole in the wall place. They even have a bar and service here is great!! Pork spring roll - this was recommended by the server as their specialty and it was good! Make sure you dip it in the sauce or the roll might be a little plain. Vietnamese crepe - excellent!! Great texture, super crispy, and goes well with the sauce as well. Shaken beef with garlic noodle - Excellent! Beef was tender, dish was very flavorful and has "wok hey" (smokiness from the wok). Garlic forward in the best way. Only qualm is that the price for this dish was on the high side ($30+ as there's a $6 charge for changing the rice to garlic noodle). Roast duck noodle - Noodle had the perfect springy bite, soup was savory and tasty. Vietnamese food is generally pretty hit or miss for me but this place is definitely a hit! Just be prepared to spend a little more as prices are not cheap, but the food quality definitely makes up for it! read more

Man, what happened, Brodard? I have been ordering your DELICIOUS Duck Salad for the last 15 years. I absolutely LOVE it!! One of my top 5 favorite salads. I'd always order it to go and it would come with about 2 cups of shredded cabbage and veg in a 9"x9" to go clamshell container. Imagine my surprise when I ordered the Duck Salad today and got this small to go container with about 1/2 cup of soggy lettuce and some wisps of shredded cabbage. And the salad was $20!!!! Wow! Talk about a downturn in quality and quantity! I hope you guys go back to how you used to serve the Duck Salad because if I get another Duck Salad like this, I don't think I'll be going back to Brodard anymore. read more

Came for dinner, first visit, as a group. Spacious place with room for banquet and ceremonies. Modern Vietnamese cuisine. The egg rolls were so crispy, luring you to eat one after another, remember to wait for it to cool down for I was inpatient and almost got burned, LOL! The spicy beef salad was delicious with fresh veggies and rightfully seasoned beef slices. The garlic noodles were with good flavor. I tried the steamed sea bass with rice, it was with the perfect sauce. Will return to try out other dishes. read more
Finally got to check this place out.. we all know that brodard is a staple stop in the OC.. know for their egg rolls. The best in town.. both the grilled pork and the grilled shrimp rolls are so delish.. we got to also try their tofu which was just perfectly battered. As far as entrees their shaken beef is also very well marinated and the shrimp noodles are so good, we ordered so many in the menu and all were just so yummy! Love this spot for casual and special occasions, also a plus that they have a full bar read more

Such a must whenever I visit Orange County. I ordered the nem Nuong rolls (most famous), grilled shrimp rolls, & Goi Cuon (not your traditional has avocado). I was craving the most famous Nem Nuong rolls and it's hard to compare taste of both the roll and the famous sauce. A friend recommended the grilled shrimp roll and wow game changer and it's now on my list to order. For their version of goi Cuon I wouldn't order it again since I was rushing when I ordered and didn't see avocado in it... for me I like it traditional so just my preference. If you're visiting OC and want a light meal or snack definitely order the rolls :) read more
This place always has quick service and they never fail to satisfy my Viet smear food craving. My go tos are the garlic noodle with filet mignon, ban xeo, grilled pork spring rolls and sometimes the ban khot. Truly recommend this spot it's one of the better ban xeo spots i've had! read more
Everyone!!! This the must go to restaurant in OC. They provide all kinds of rolls and the summer spring rolls win my heart all the time It is so light and healthy and the taste is so refreshing and delicious, please order summer spring rolls ( vegetarian) I've been to this restaurant many many times. If I am ever down to OC, this is the spot! Service is so good and our server recommended "Fish and fish cake rice noodles soup" and which is delicious and delightful This is a great restaurant for a family gathering and even for a single person who can enjoy the meal The ambiance is definitely great I ran into the owner and she mentioned they are going to expand a new location in Long Beach ! I gotta say whoever lives around the area is very lucky I'm praying for the expansion to west Los Angeles I really love this restaurant !!! Ps: the shaken beef is yummy with the rice read more
Just as good as the regular Brodard, but smaller portions. Went for a weekday lunch - had the spring rolls, seafood noodles, and the shaken beef. Was all pretty good, but felt the portions were smaller than the regular Brodard at the same or higher price. Was a good time with good food, but will go to the regular one next time around! read more
One of two businesses I went to on a weekday in December, that had French sounding names, Brodard Chateau (meaning embroider and castle) is the elevated Vietnamese sister restaurant of the original (and still very popular) Brodard Restaurant in Fountain Blue. My wife, her mom, and I drove out to OC specifically to eat here for lunch, and tried to follow the advice of fellow Yelp reviewers and our waiter in ordering particular dishes. I found the food to be good, the service to be excellent, and the setting to be very comfortable. Definitely a good place to take a large party, especially if some folks in the party are a little nervous about what to order. We got there about 30 minutes after opening (open at 10:30), and the very large restaurant was already humming. After we got seated, Quy came over to offer recommendations. We got a pot of Jasmine hot tea ($7.95) which was just enough for the three of us, along with some ice water (they do specifically list still water on their menu for a price, so was glad that it didn't become a 'thing' when asking for tap water). Noticed that they had Saigon beer...never remember having it before, so asked for a bottle ($5.95). It was refreshing, definitely on the sweeter side, very noticeable when drinking it alone, but less so when having it with food. Always glad when dining with others to allow to try a variety of dishes, so got a few different things recommended. Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($16.95) - first time I've seen this at a Vietnamese place, and since it's a favorite of my wife's (at least the PF Chang version is), so got that. It came out first, and it was a large plate of diced chicken, water chestnuts in an almost curry type sauce. It came with a peanut sauce and a 1/3 head of iceberg lettuce. It was plenty of food, but they should follow the lead of what PF Chang does: Give plenty of lettuce, but separate it out into individual cups...only the first few leaves make a good 'cup'...the inner core absolutely does not...much better for something like a wedge salad. Plus the first few outer leaves were badly wilted, as old lettuce tends to do. Grilled Pork Egg Rolls ($6.50) - this is what made Brodard famous, putting a thick piece of deep fried won ton wrapper along with the noodles, herbs, and thick piece of pork. It was tasty, and different from any spring roll I had before. The peanut dipping sauce was pretty mild in flavor. Shaken Beef ($23.95) - this is presented as a plate, with a choice of carb (white rice or garlic noodles), and a small house salad, all on a plate. The chunks of quality beef is filet and served medium. Oyster sauce is the base for the marinade and our party enjoyed it. Ha Noi Noodles ($19.95) - I really enjoyed this dish, where chunks of flame grilled pork swimming in an oily broth. It is deconstructed, letting you eat it in a variety of ways. It came with a variety of very fresh herbs and lettuce, including Vietnamese Perilla leaves, a bit different than the Korean version I'm used to. The vermicelli noodles were the kind put into spring rolls, and was a good base for the meat. It wasn't as popular with my dining companions. It's its own individual building with a large private parking lot, but with its popularity, the lot got full (when we were leaving at 12:30). Even though our particular dining area was about half full, it was hard to have a conversation because of the noise level. It must be a din during dinner time when everything is cranking at full capacity. At the front is a bakery display with a variety of macaroons and some chiffon cake slices. Quy was a really good host, asking frequently how we were doing, and answering questions that we had. Leftovers are packed in the back and presented as a finished package. Payment was at the table and tax is 8.7% here. Everything about the service was top-notch. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants, and this might have been the first time I didn't order some sort of noodle soup. Nobody seems to favor the pho here. Instead, sticking with dishes that a Chinese food loving person would like, would seem to be the right call. read more
I have eaten from here but never eaten actually here until tonight I used to have a coworker back in the past who would bring the spring rolls each time we did a potluck she got the pork spring rolls and omg are they addictive I went for an early dinner with some old friends so it wasn't busy but let me say when we left a few hours later it was popping Our server was friendly and helpful and guided us with decisions by being honest about certain foods He was right each time The place itself it's big with two floors of dining and it's all very clean and nice and themed The rolls oh man so good I had the classic pork but also duck and rib eye along with duck buns and chicken garlic noodles All so flavorful and with their own sauces (the rolls) and dessert was good too the sticky mango rice was good and sweet mango I can't wait to go back to try the other dishes again read more
I personally like the Chateau location better! I find the summer rolls here tastier, crispier, and just better. This location isn't as overwhelmingly popular as their Fountain Valley location, but quality is consistent and more importantly, their summer rolls are better here! :) Service is less stressful and more attentive, with a roomy restaurant and comfortable seating. Brodard Chateau is a Vietnamese restaurant in a not fancy area of Southern California and a not fancy part of town. But gosh darn it is delicious! My second generation friend and I went for lunch one day and she, as a world traveler, has declared it is the best Vietnamese in America. I recommend a reservation. The menu is in English and Vietnamese with good descriptions of the food. Prices are excellent as we fed four people on four dishes +2 drinks for around $120 pre-tax and tip. Inside is clean and pleasant, tables are very simple, straightforward wood with wooden chairs. They are more than capable of handling large parties. And you can order food to go. They are famous for pork spring rolls with these crispy bits inside them and they were delicious! I have recommended this to friends and family and look forward to eating here sometime in the future. read more
Friday at 1pm and it was quiet and got sat right as soon as we entered. Ample parking, clean establishment and ambiance is a sit down restaurant with classic jazz and pop playing in the background. We ordered: Fresh Passion Fruit Orange Juice: Drink is good and as real as it gets! Shrimp Cake: We wanted to try it but not as expected. Don't get me wrong as it was good but nothing to die for as I would not order it again. The veggies that came with it looked kind of fresh as the mint leaves were kind of wilting. Rib Eye Rolls: It was good but compared to the other Brodard, these were really skinny and small. Would not ordered this here as you would get more for your money at the other Brodard in Fountain Valley. Seafood Clay Pot: This is nothing special with the exception of the clay pot it was presented in. Tasted just like regular seafood fried rice. The pot was extremely hot and kept the food warm throughout. House Special Beef Noodle Soup: Ok but not worth the money. There was only one size for $18.95 and let me tell you the serving is not even a small at the Vietnamese restaurants in San Diego. Nothing special about this soup. Overall this place is ok but would highly recommend to go to the one in Fountain Valley instead. One positive outlook is there are other foods to try on their menu. Our server was polite and helpful but there are way better Vietnamese restaurants worth more than here. read more
We ordered the pork spring rolls, shrimp spring rolls, & crispy egg rolls... easily the highlight of the meal & the reason we came! The spring rolls have this crispy, crunchy filling inside that adds so much flavor & texture. Both pork & shrimp were great. The crispy egg rolls wrapped in lettuce with their fish sauce were so satisfying. For mains, we had the vermicelli with lemongrass beef & bánh canh. Vermicelli is always a safe choice & this one didn't disappoint! Flavorful, generous portion, & plenty of beef. We tried bánh canh after seeing it all over TikTok & it was worth it! The soup is thicker than pho with udon-style noodles & a seafood base with crab * plump shrimp. We finished with a Vietnamese-style halo-halo, which was a great way to end the meal. The ambience feels more upscale/fine-dining compared to their Fountain Valley location. Service was friendly & quick! Definitely a great spot for lunch or dinner! read more
We love the original brodard so decided to check this out. Yes everyone comes for their nem nuong spring rolls duh! But we tried the soft shell crab spring rolls too and my kids actually preferred that instead. Soft shell crab spring rolls (5/5): $16.95 You get 2 of them with fresh veggies and an asparagus yum! The soup wasn't too salty and this was slurp able. House Special pho bo: (4/5) $18.95 The pho was good. Nothing too out of the ordinary, tons of various meats, and was eaten all. Traditional curry chicken: (5/5) $17.95 This came with chunk of tender chicken, small potatoes, and fresh baguette. The curry flavor wasn't too spicy and we dunk all the the bread in and soaked up all the yummy curry. Shaken Beef: (4/5) $22.95 We got this with garlic noodles. Think this isn't your traditional garlic noodles as it has a more soy sauce, oyster, deep flavor. This was tossed with tender beef, mushrooms, and onions. In fact, it blew my mind! The service, ambiance, presentation, quality, aesthetic, variety is simply off the charts! Exquisite craft cocktails and delectable appetizers to entice and prepare for the mouthwatering entrées. Insane dessert options for the Fini which are magnificent! My recent visit from the San Francisco area with my wife and daughters was suggested by relatives that reside in the area and accompanied us. They certainly chose a winner here! We dine out frequently and were pleasantly surprised by such a wise selection. This is as good an experience as it gets all around. A true gem worthy of several return visits. The service was exceptional and our server (Toan) was such a delight with a terrific personality and perceptive wit. Their chicken pho is so good! It's with chicken breast. Clean but flavorful broth. Tried the pineapple fried rice for the first time! It was the right amount of salt to egg to seafood ratio. A more fancier looking location as the ambiance is very different from their other location. Spring rolls are my fave where my friend and I should've had more of that. Tried the other dishes such as duck and fish. I'd order the salad again but didn't care for the fish dish as sauce was bitter. A staple in our places to dine out. Some favorites: the grilled pork spring rolls (i could drink the dipping sauce lol), pan fried crispy rice noodles, duck salad, and the steak. I also always get the sour plum soda and the pandan coconut jello (to take home) :) read more
I've been here quite a few times with family but never got around to leaving a review until now. Brodard Chateau is in a unique position as a Vietnamese restaurant in Orange County as it's close to Little Saigon but offers an elevated experience and even a full bar. The restaurant is fairly big so it's usually a nonissue to accommodate bigger parties, which is usually why my family ends up coming here. Basically, it's solid Vietnamese food for large parties that has some ambiance and aesthetic. The food isn't the most amazing and there are certainly better places within Little Saigon. Sometimes I feel like even their goi cuon is overshadowed by their first location which is in the heart of Little Saigon. Because of the elevated experience they're trying to achieve, their prices are a little more than what you'd expect for the same dish elsewhere, as expected. The nice thing about Brodard Chateau is you get to enjoy your Vietnamese food with a full bar which a lot of restaurants in Little Saigon lack. It's kind of nice being able to eat some bun cha Han Noi (which is what I get here) or some bo luc lac and having a cocktail. Would I usually come here on my own? Maybe if I'm feeling the option of having some alcohol with my Vietnamese food. I believe they do, just not a lot. They have tofu in XO sauce, tofu salad, and 2 noodle dishes that have tofu

Is your new nuong cuon and chao Tom cuon gluten free? How about the chef sauce?

They have a large tent for outdoor seating; no idea on specific allowance of puppers though.
What is the maximum number of people to a party is the restaurant allowing right now when dining in the outdoor area?
Does your menu specify which dishes contain nut and seafood ingredients, I am allergic but I want to try, ir is it recommended for someone with allergies not to ty?
Their menu specifies what is in it but you should ask the staff to make sure on sauces because often times there are hints of fish sauce even in what seems to be non-meat dishes.
Is this location in garden grove still open?
Yes! Unless something happened since October! We ate there in early October and it's one of our fave places to go when we are visiting Los Angeles.
Any vegetarian dishes?
Yes... Can order vegetarian spring rolls and I believe there is vegetarian crepe... Just watch out for the sauces that come with... Those may not be so vegetarian
What's your recommendation for first time dinner?
Ask the water to recommend a dinner plan based on what you prefer, like beef, pork, seafood, spicy, etc. they know how to setup a series of dishes to meet your desire. Best to go early and avoid the rush.
