The young lady that took our order was super sweet and nice and very helpful. We got pbj with hemp protein and mango smoothie. What I didn't like was the girl that was making our smoothies she was drinking her smoothie at the same time! That really turns me off, especially from a food safety standpoint! It was behind the blender and didn't have a lid on, and it was in the food prep area right behind the blender. I know some stuff I used to work at Juice it Up and that would've been a big No No!!! Waist of money and time. Very inconsistent in making the same smoothie. My partner and I always get the pbj and it usually does not taste the same in terms of peanut butter but this last time was ridiculous. They completely forgot to add peanut butter. I went inside to ask them to remake mine because it's $10 a smoothie (my partner did not want to bother). The girl did not seem too happy about remaking it and asked the guy who made the smoothie. Service is always great. I come here almost twice a week. I buy the beet berry blast and I got up charged for modifying. Most of your recipes listed have lots of sugar with the sherbets. I would estimate 30-60 grams of sugar total in smoothies. I try to modify out the sugary juices and sherbets for celery juice and sometimes sub yogurt but couldn't tell me sugar content of yogurt. Years ago it was considered odd to use kale and now its a norm. A game changer would be to have bok-choy instead of kale so much more nutrient dense. Most of the drinks listed on menu have dangerous high sugar, would love to see more healthy ingredients offered. 12 dollars for a medium smoothie just isn't fair. substituting yogurt and celery juice? to lower grams of sugar. drinks are delicious but sugar levels are too high for me. I used to come to this location a couple years ago and didn't come back because they were always messing my orders up so I instead would go to the one located in orange. Today I decided to try it out to see if they might have changed staff, implemented some kind of change in how they make their smoothies and açaí bowl, but nope.
