I apparently signed up for the Krak Boba rewards club in the past, and I received an email offer for a free drink for my birthday (worth up to $8), which prompted me to visit for the first time. They are located in the middle of the Brea Union Plaza (the one with Walmart, Home Depot, Staples, etc.) in the row of shops right next to Imperial Highway. There is plenty of parking around the front of the store. It is nicely decorated inside with wood lattice, faux ivy, and artwork on the walls. There are three big screen monitors displaying a colorful drink menu by the register. Seating options inside include five tables, as well as two bar top tables along the front windows. Everything inside was nice and clean, and there was good music playing at a reasonable volume. I pre-scouted the menu on their website. They have a wide selection of drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, coffee drinks, specialty drinks, and even a secret menu. Many of the drinks are very visually appealing, and I had a hard time deciding what I would order. I never get smoothies, but couldn't resist ordering the Maui Waui which is a smoothie with pineapple, banana, and coconut flavors, and I added boba ($7.25 + $0.90). It was a smooth drink that wasn't' thick, but it did have a nice creaminess to it. It also contained fresh pieces of pineapple. It tasted good, almost like a pina colada. Unfortunately, I didn't taste any banana which was one of the main reasons I chose it. If I ordered it again, I'd ask if they could bump up the banana. Their boba is brown and was good. My girlfriend wanted the Butterfly Passion Fritz from the online secret menu, and added aloe vera. ($6.10 + $0.90). I didn't taste her drink, but she liked it, and it looked great with that purple layer on top. The young woman at the register was friendly, and she also made the drinks which came out quickly. Some other drinks on the menu also caught my eye, and I'll return at some point to try them. Be sure to install their app and create an account to get their perks, including the free birthday drink.
I ordered the CocoThai Butterfly because it looked so pretty on the menu. It came out with the same gorgeous colors. After mixing it all together it tasted like a Thai tea with a hint of coconut. I liked how the coconut wasn't overwhelming. Not sure what the butterfly tea added other than a nice blue color. I plan on returning to try their other colorful concoctions! My friend ordered a yogurt smoothie and she enjoyed it. She said it wasn't the best yogurt smoothie she's had but it was still tasty.

For the first tine, we encountered the milk tea to be three-fourths filled and I asked the staff if this is a new policy and they said it was based on the measurement which counters what we have experienced so many times before where it's filled to the top. I was not able to resolve this with the staff so I asked to speak with the manager and they suggested I reach out to Pauline through Yelp, hence this review.

decided to try their number two drink on the menu, which was the Thai Coco butterfly. I enjoyed the drink, it does run on the sweet side and is best consumed within the hour. After a while, the drink definitely waters down and isn't as good. Overall it is a very middle ground boba place, not much to love but also not much to hate. Service was quick, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. It wasn't busy at all when I came in. Area is very spacious and clean. Lots of parking available in the lot!
Met up with a Sister in Christ here for some quality time! I love this place, although I ordered a drink with no boba and immediately regretted it! So note to self always add the boba lol. Service was quick and we got in there before the rush. It wasn't quiet but it wasn't loud either. Definitely recommended and will definitely come back!

As is so often the case nowadays, I discovered Krak Boba as part of my appointed rounds as a part-time Uber Driver/Shopper. I'd delivered a quartet or so of frozen drinks from the artsy store with the eclectic name and vowed to try it for myself once the mercury soared past 95 degrees. Yesterday afternoon I ordered a Taro Twist Slushee. While I'll gladly accord the store extra points for its sparkling level of cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff, I can't give the actual drink more than 4 stars. I've loved Taro, the purple yam that's a staple of Pinay culture, ever since the early 90s, when I had a Pinay live-in GF who introduced me to Filipino cuisine and culture. Suffice to say that I've previously enjoyed Taro slushees from Lollicup. Today's drink was arctic cold, refreshing and did a good but not legendary job of slaking my thirst. But it failed on the most important aspect- Delighting my taste buds with the unique hybrid of coconut, vanilla and custard flavors that make any Taro product so desirable!
Krak boba was amazing! First time trying it, this location must be new because everything was super clean and artsy! Service was great! David and team were quick and very friendly! They gave us both good recommendations based off what our preferences were. They were patient and fun to chat with, and we got our orders super quick! My gf and I got the mango yogurt and dragon slayer and both were very good. Mango yogurt was more creamy and the dragon slayer more fruity and refreshing. Of the two, I would say dragon slayer was actually our more favorite. We got lychee jelly as for our topping and it was great. We did 75% sweetness and I think personally it was still just a bit too sweet so will try 50% next time since I'm not too much of a sugar person. They also have different flavors from time to time which is cool to see! They had board games like connect 4 and some other games. Great place to study or hangout! Will be back!

After our delicious meal at the dumpling place we all wanted something to drink. We saw this boba place so we all went over here to get something. It must be new cause i come to this shopping center all the time and never knew this was there. We ordered and one of our friends got us a buy one get one free yay. I ended up getting this delicious refreshing lemonade that was so pretty. Everyone got such beautifully colored yummy drinks. We had a wonderful time got some pictures. The service is great everyone smiled, we all were able to sit and a table and drink our drinks. Had such an amazing time with everyone and really enjoyed our drinks. I absolutely love this place! Ever since I discovered it, I've been coming back every week. My favorite drink is the King Brûlée. It has the perfect flavor and is definitely a must-try. The service is always great, and the staff is so friendly. I do wish they had a little more staff, though, because there is usually only one person working who has to handle everything. Despite that, she always does an amazing job. They also have board games you can play while you enjoy your drink, and the place is always clean and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite spots, and I'll keep coming back! read more

I ordered the CocoThai Butterfly because it looked so pretty on the menu. It came out with the same gorgeous colors. After mixing it all together it tasted like a Thai tea with a hint of coconut. Refreshing beverage in Brea, Orange County, California... After lunch together, my friends didn't seem to want to go home yet. They saw Krak Boba across the parking lot from where we were and started walking over... Krak Boba is a Hot New Business that has free, shared parking and a clean, bright, cozy interior. We were able to move chairs and tables around to sit together! Service was very patient and friendly... because we ordered different things at different times while other customers arrived, too! It was quite busy and sometimes, all seats were filled! I got the #1 most popular drink: Dragon Slayer. It had tiny bits of lychee, mango, and Dragon fruit in layers, between Slushy coconut milk. This cute shop was newly opened about 2 weeks ago. I ordered Cosmos Serenade with Crystal Boba and Taro Twist with Crystal Boba. My Cosmos drink was too sweet, and it took me awhile to finish it. The Taro Twist was good. Check out their Happy Hour from Monday to Friday: Buy 2 and get one free. If you join their reward program you can get the sign in bonus of $2 credit on your Krak Boba App. You can even get free drink with one topping on your birthday and many more exciting rewards. Review 37/365 Challenge Been stoked to see there's a Krak opening at my neighboring city Brea. Came during their Grand opening weekend. 50% drinks all weekend. What we ordered, will go with our rating n most likes listed 1st. ~ DragonFruit Slayer is refreshing and is a slush drink. On the sweet side but definitely good. ~ Strawberry Matcha Latte is good. Not too sweet. ~ King Brulee is really on the sweeter side. Got it 75% sweetness but yet still sweet, id definitely get it 50% sweetness next time. My daughter even thought it was too sweet for her. And she's only 8 years old. Boba is soft & chewy goodness. Their Crystal boba is good too. Recommended. Love their different variety and selection of drinks options. Stopped by Krak Boba for their grand opening this past weekend - 50% off all drinks. This is my first time trying out Krak boba so we ordered a few various drinks to try. King Brûlée ($6.85), Taro Twist ($6.85), and Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.85). Enjoyed the King Brûlée with the crunchy bits from brûlée - I did ask for this 75% sweet and it was still very sweet so I'd probably opt for 50% next time. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was similar in nature without the brûlée and with a milk tea background. Taro Twist was the least favorite as it was quite watery and not as flavorful - would opt to try the Taro Crush next time to see if that's better. Located in the same plaza as Walmart, close by to Pita GR. Few indoor seats available. Appreciated that there was a decent amount of staff during grand opening weekend to push drinks out quicker! read more

I'm writing to share some feedback regarding my last two visits to this Krak Boba location. As a regular customer of other Krak Boba stores, I was disappointed with my experiences here. A few weeks ago, I ordered the Sun Bright drink with aloe to go. Unfortunately, when I received my drink, there was no aloe included. I understand that off days can happen, so I decided to give this location another try yesterday. Yesterday, I ordered the Sunset Passion with aloe to go. This drink has a smoothie-like consistency, so I initially thought the aloe might just be blended in. However, after drinking about half of it, I realized there were no aloe chunks whatsoever. This was the second time in a row that my drink was missing the aloe I specifically ordered and paid for, which was quite disappointing. I've never encountered this issue at other Krak Boba locations. In addition to the missing aloe, the service was also quite slow on my last visit. Even though there was no one in front of me, it still took 10 minutes to receive my drink. On a positive note, the store itself was clean. While I appreciate the cleanliness, given the consistent issue with missing aloe and the slow service, I will unfortunately not be returning to this particular Krak Boba location. I will continue to visit other Krak Boba stores where I've consistently received my drinks as ordered, including the aloe. :) read more

Great location for some boba! Located in a shopping center with lots of entertainment and shopping. Wonderful welcoming service. Inside or patio seating. Bright, clean and organized. There's so many concoctions to choose from. Tea, coffee smoothies with toppings and boba. Restroom available for customers. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. Park, walk and explore. Would definitely return. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I LOVED this creme brulee coffee. Im not a fan of iced coffees but totally legit I was hooked the minute I tasted it. You can feel the creme brulee flavor AND the coffee flavor. This was a treat from my co-worker who's a regular here. I stopped by a few weeks ago and ordered an actual tea which was super delicious. I love how they've decorated the space and the staff is super nice, Ive always been received with a smile and a welcome. Again, I had never tried their iced coffee but I will most def come back for another one pretty soon. Parking here is plenty, so dont worry if u cant find a spot right in front, there's more in the main lot. read more

Been to a few Krak locations and always satisfied with the drink of choice. This was my first time trying the Seaside Thai tea, which I believe is just a Green Thai Milk Tea. It was beautifully colored and quite refreshing on a hot day. I opted for 50% sweet, which I suggest even going lower than 50% sweet if you don't like a super-sweet taste. 50% was still very sweet imo. Around 3 pm, it's quite busy, but the games they have inside to play help kill time and are just a fun touch! Lots of tables inside and clean. Krak Boba is a great establishment, happy to see how well they are doing around multiple parts of OC! read more

My second visit on 7/13/ 2025 3:45pm I had such a nice experience when I first came here about a week ago, and this 2nd visit was SO opposite. I have to preface this review with acknowledging the friendly gals who took my order. They were pleasant. However, I cannot say the same about the young man who was working. On this visit my intention was to order the WinterMelon milk tea again. I love this flavor of milk tea, so I know what a WinterMelon milk tea should taste like. But sadly, again this drink again did not taste like WinterMelon. So I went back to the counter and asked the girls if they could just add a little bit more of the WinterMelon syrup, to perhaps enhance the lacking flavor. I started to peel the drink top off so she can add a little more. Well, I apparently offended the guy making the drinks, and he muttered something and the gal and I realized there just started remaking my drink again. He visibly upset and slamming the tools and cups around, and this dude put TWO measuring cups of the syrup in my drink! When I got my new drink, I sat outside to enjoy it. I literally took about 3 sips, and abandoned the drink. It was SO disgusting and undrinkable. At this point, I was not going to go back to ask for anything else. It's like he purposely made it undrinkable. After this experience, we won't be coming back to this place. Note to management: -hire the right people. Customer service is still valued, and your staff should probably be mindful of their behavior while in clear view of customers. -Also, the music that was playing on the speakers was explicit. So management may want to be aware of the environment their employees are creating. read more

Located off Imperial Hwy in Brea. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the center. The place is average boba sized place they have a few tables and places to sit inside. Came here after eating lunch for dessert. I got the Tropical Paradise specialty drink. Service was pretty good. Overall a good place for boba they have a good amount of selections. read more

Okay so i've been here several times since it's grand opening, however, refrain from writing a review until I've had a fair share of experiences. I really do consider myself as a boba connoisseur/ fiend/ addict whatever you wanna call it- I just really love boba. And we've been to our fair shares of various boba apps shops around the areas of where I live, work and play (eat). With that said, I've been to various Krak locations from the IE to the OC and LA. This has gotta be my absolute fave location mostly due to how they make their KING brulee! It's really so good, soft custard, almost a flan like consistency with the right amount of sweetness and texture. It's not quite like a pudding nor is it thick like a flan it's just divine TBH I don't know how they make it here. However, the other locations can surely use whatever their best practices are, I've had crème brûlée that taste almost burnt, and some locations taste like it's a straight up pudding. I like that they opened up this location near my work, located in a busy plaza and while there are other Boba spots in the area, I personally prefer Krak for their milk drinks. they have a happy hour special buy two drinks get one free, new app users have a Bogo special as well, and those points do add up which allows for reward points to stack up and to be used for dollars off a drink or free toppings. Also this location has ample seating, however, parking depending on the time of day can be challenging. Our go to drinks here, of course is the king Brûlé, queen brulee if you'd like a blended version, jasmine green tea is a staple and is very fragrant without it being overpowering, we also like their mango tea. It's refreshing on a hot day. They usually always have about 2 to 3 employees on hand to making drinks and one in the kitchen happy hour time is from 2 to 6 PM, so it can get a bit busy however they do manage it well. I also like to order on the app for pick up in store it's so much more efficient and time saving! read more
