The interior layout is a bit awkward with the ordering line being squished upfront, so it might get tight on busier days. Otherwise, the shop is bright and welcoming with a decent amount of seating! I ordered their Taro Coffee and so far, the drink quality and flavors are on par with their Anaheim location. Love that they also offer milk alternatives (almond, oat, soy). Service is on the slower side which is to be expected as they start up, so be patient with your bobaristas! Highly recommend and I'd look forward to their grand opening. read more

Krak does a great job marketing, but after three tries I have to confirm it is consistently disappointing. Their drinks, specifically their fruit ones, are no where close to being those advertised pictures. I think the tea and boba quality is acceptable, but the sweetness, mixture, and balance of drinks are off. Their fruit bits blend are weird and sort of reminds me of throw up (the drink that has bubbly ginger ale mixed with what seems like pre-chewed acidic fruit reminds me of a bad hangover and puking). They use real fruit which is a plus but they just blend everything including the fruit skins that makes the texture weird (i.e. the tough lychee seeds skin). If they took more care instead of blending and blowing it all up it would be much tastier. The pros are that they sometimes have promotions to justify a visit, where you might get 50% off, or BOGO. Otherwise there are better options for $8 a drink. Definitely pass on the fruit drink . read more

I went back and have tried the taro crush with boba, matcha prince, and strawberry matcha latte+boba. These drinks were a lot better than what I got better. The matcha drinks, you can actually taste the matcha. They also don't skimp on the strawberry jam. The taro drink was nice and creamy with good taro flavor, I would probably do less sugar next time instead of regular. My only critique would be the boba, it seems overcooked to me, I want more of a chew. I will be back to try their other drinks. Worst Boba Experience Ever I usually love trying new boba spots, but this one was a huge disappointment. The boba itself wasn't sweet at all--it was flavorless, chewy in the worst way, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. On top of that, my drink had these weird, random seeds floating around in it (??). I have no idea what they were or why they were there, but it made the whole thing taste strange and kind of gross. The drink was supposed to be a fruit tea, but it tasted watered down and unbalanced, like someone just threw stuff in a cup and hoped for the best. Honestly, I couldn't even finish it. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place seriously needs to rethink their recipes--and their hygiene. Total waste of time. read more

I shouldn't have to wait 40+ minutes to get 2 bobas. There were 5 people behind the counter making the drinks. I wouldn't say it was so busy, but they seemed very unorganized. Drinks were called with no rhyme or rhythm. Numbers were called all over the place. Whatever system they have back there needs to be fixed. Everyone was making different orders and nobody communicating with each other. I've been to many boba shops with just two people making drinks and they have the boba ready just minutes after the order. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I went to the soft opening of Krak Boba located in a Brea shopping center with lots of parking and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. As you can imagine, it was very busy but the time I spent in line was celebratory and joyous. I initially wanted the Mango Tango and the owner recommended the Dragon Slayer so I tried both. This was my first time trying milk-based boba and both flavors killed it! In the end, I opted to order the recommended Dragon Slayer which was both absolutely delicious and refreshing. My matcha prince with creamy matcha & coconut juice was good & very refreshing! I only wish there was a 0% sweet option - they said the lowest sweetness level for any of their drinks is 25% which I got, but it was still pretty sweet to me. The matcha tasted like good quality with a hint of bitterness but very smooth, I wonder if they mixed it with cream because it seemed like it was like a matcha cream top. I would get it again :) My favorite drink at Krak are the sunbright passionfruit / citrusy honey green tea, & the taro slush. So happy they opened here since the Fullerton location closed! read more

Went for the first time 30+ minutes before they closed. A family inside before us and some customers came in after us. Carolina took our order (4 drinks) and was just not welcoming. Most boba places have the option to have your drink with or without boba so when I ordered I said "with boba." She replied "it comes with boba" like everyone should know that. My brother asked if he could get his drink in a smaller size and she condescendingly said "it comes in one size?" While we waited, we sat at a table and Dante (I believe is his name) seemed annoyed we sat down because he wanted to mop the floor. A few minutes later he put our drinks out and we had already grabbed straws so he snatched the ones he put out and shoved them into the straw holder. Didn't say anything either, just walked away. No enjoy" or "have a good night." Drinks were good, but overall unwelcoming service. I get it was the last hour open, but the space isn't that large...mopping would take maybe 10 minutes if you did it at closing time. Some advice for the manager from a manager of teens/college age kids..train your employees on good customer service. Just because they work there and understand the menu doesn't mean everyone else does (especially if it's their first visit.) It's also not hard to smile and say "have a good night." read more
