Located right next to the 57 freeway, Feng Cha is tucked in between local restaurants in the city of Fullerton. You can park in the lot, if you're lucky enough to find a spot. Parking is very tight here. We walked in, and the bobarista was very honest that they ran out of ice. We asked her if the drinks were still chilled, which she said yes, and we continued to make our orders at the kiosk. We sat down and waited for our drink. Eventually, a staff member brought in ice, so we were lucky for that! I waited for my drink which took about 7 minutes. When I heard my drink get called, another patron actually took my milk tea and started drinking it. Although I had placed an order before them, I assumed it might not have been mine. The bobarista looked at me with wide eyes and asked me what I had ordered. We realized that the person absolutely grabbed the wrong beverage. Instead of making it a big deal, the bobarista decided to make me a new one. This automatically made the service excellent; she had quick problem solving skills and figured out what had happened. In addition, my milk tea was delicious. I had ordered their cookies and cream milk tea. It had Oreo and cookie bits with foam at the top. Their boba was also perfectly sweet with a great consistency. I got this to go and I have to say, it was honestly delicious. I had the Vietnamese coffee with tiramisu foam on top and it was the perfect amount of sweetness -- a great little pick me up! I also got the Oreo cookie cake, which was super delicious with the most wonderfully fluffy, airy texture. The cream on top made it almost melt in your mouth. So great overall. Went for the first time yesterday and love how cute they styled the place! Service was good, friendly, and quick. We went right when they opened and it wasn't long until the place started to get busier. Very instagrammable, easy to order, and huge selection of drinks too. I especially liked there are caffeine free options for kids too. For myself I got the strawberry matcha tea. I got 50% sweet, less ice, boba with lychee jelly for toppings (max 3), cheese foam and sea salt foam (max 2), and oat milk. Pulled up the app after finishing midterms to see if there's any boba nearby I haven't tried before (other than the Wushiland by school that I always get) and this one popped up. Ordered their Creme Brûlée Dirty Boba which seems to be their take on a Brown Sugar Boba Milk sort of drink (w/ Carmelized Sugar and Cheese Foam on top) with 50% Sweet and Light Ice, Add Black Tea ($7.25). Even with one of those narrow small base cups, there was only 2 at most 3 layers of boba, one of the first noticeably small amounts of boba I've ever seen, less than half to a third as much as what Wushiland provides. Not too much tea flavor if any, overall, very average. It will not be replacing any of my visits to Xing Fu Tang or Tiger Sugar for the times I'm craving a drink of this type. Service was quick and accommodating. They had forgotten the boba in the drink of one of the orders before mine and quickly offered to add boba and move their drink to another new cup. My kiwi basil seed green tea was yummy with an abundance of basil seeds and kiwi puree and at 50%, was just right on the sweetness level. My only qualm is thay the green tea flavor was fairly minimal. My friend also noticed that the strawberry puree in his strawberry overload tea was less than he got last time, so what you get might not be consistent. But for the unique fruit teas, Feng Cha is worth a try. read more

It was pretty good, but it wasn't something I feel like I could finish due to its sweetness - think of a mango hi-chew but in a liquid form. The grapefruit adds texture and a twist to the flavor, but I feel conflicted about it. I don't think I would get this drink again, but I would like to try their other drinks as it looks like they have a great assortment of options. The inside is a bit small but I do like the decor - it looks upscale with the marble vinyl and it's also comfortable with the couch seating, making it easy for small groups. Boba is like books to me, I love it! So whenever I find out about a new boba shop, I have to visit. This location has changed quite a few times and this is one of my favorite changes. The tea house is cute and has some really cool decor to take that perfect photo for IG and Yelp. Shout out to the staff who were great. I felt bad because some lady was there ordering drinks for her manager and was being super difficult because they wanted to make sure they got their points to redeem for rewards on a later date. Staff kept their cool and remained professional throughout the transaction. I ended up ordering the Summer Melon and it was so refreshing. The fresh fruit added to the drink was so good and tart. The boba was excellent, not overcooked which is a pet peeve of mine. The Strawberry Overload was also really good and the fresh strawberries were an added perfection. I have been going to this Feng Cha location since it opened back in 2022. I have always enjoyed coming to this boba location. It's so convenient as it's right next to the gym that I go to. Some of their drinks have been very consistent like the Jasmine Apple Green Tea or the matcha latte. The matcha latte is on the creamier side. It's not like your typical matcha latte you'd get at a coffee shop. If you prefer something creamier, definitely opt out for the matcha latte. Their fruit teas have always been refreshing. One of my favorites is the Jasmine Apple Green Tea. There are only a few tables inside so when it gets busy , I usually take my drinks to go. Or hang out with people outside of the shop. I love their decorations inside. Since Halloween is coming up, they have Halloween decor up right now. My only gripe is that sometimes the drinks are a hit and miss depending on what other items you get. Some of their teas aren't brewed as strongly as others as it tastes watered down. I'm also sad that they no longer have their point system available anymore when you order with the cashier. I'm not too sure about the kiosk. Located in a small plaza, this Feng Cha shares parking with several other businesses. The inside is cute, there are a few tables and a vending machine with ramen and unique snacks you can buy. You can order drinks at the front or there are self serve kiosks to order the items yourself. I've noticed service overall has been pretty good. Sometimes there might be someone that gives stand off-ish vibes, but it's not a frequent occurrence so it doesn't bother me. I've been occasionally visiting this store for a while and personally, drinks have been a hit or miss. Some drinks are super sweet but tastes watered down if you order them less sweet. Other drinks, like their regular brewed teas, are light and refreshing. It really depends on your preference for drinks. The one thing I have noticed with this location though is how little boba pearls they give you in a drink. Not sure if this is a regular occurrence at this store, but ever since I've noticed this, I've stopped getting boba in my drinks here because of how little I've gotten in the past. I do prefer their drinks without boba personally so that's also just personal preference. That aside, they do have a decent variety of drinks to cater to different people. Personally, I've enjoyed the blended drinks or the regular brewed teas. If you do like drinks less sweet, do adjust accordingly to your preference. Looks like fruit tea is abundant on their menu but I went for a coffee milk tea. Best of both worlds -- sweetness of a milk tea and the caffeine kick from the espresso. One of my favorite boba shops in this area. I used to come here maybe once a week during the summer and only for their mango fantasy drink, which was a seasonal drink unfortunately. Ever since they've taken it off the menu, I've struggled to find a new favorite drink, but everything I have tried has been good on average. Ambiance is clean and modern, and it looks like a great study spot. It gets loud when it's packed inside, but otherwise, it's a great place to hang out and grab boba.
