I've been here before when it was possibly under different management? Stopped by for shaved ice and matcha. They now have outdoor seating right outside the store which is nice since the indoor seating seems a bit too crowded and cramped. I think they're trying to cram too many tables inside for seating. The strawberry shaved ice looked good but it was a bit too sweet with the strawberry syrup. It comes with quite a bit of strawberry but I preferred it more when it didn't have as much syrup and condensed milk. The matcha latte was not good. Sorry, but I won't be ordering that again. But the two stars has to do with what happened at the counter. When I got my shave ice, I asked for 3 small bowls so that we could share and not have to dig from the same bowl. The girl at the counter came out with 3 small bowls which were perfect. But after she handed it to me a gentlemen, presumably the owner and manager came out and told her that the bowls were not meant to be provided and a that she was to use cups instead. He took the 3 bowls, went into the back, I heard rinsing of water and he came out with two wet clear plastic cups and a larger bowl than the 3 small bowls. I didn't get it. But that whole interaction just ruined the visit. Needless to say, why would you rinse off 2 small clear cups unless the cups were dirty to start with and you're reusing them? If you're the owner or management, I hope you take note of how something this small could affect how a customer perceives your business. You should've just let us use the 3 small bowls and talked to your employee behind the scenes. And get better cups/bowls if you don't want to let people use good bowls. read more

We tried ordering from one of the two kiosks, and when the card reader didn't work, we were helped at the register right away. First timer! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful lady and used the restroom which was very clean however didn't have soap looked like mixed with water. The lady said she will let the owner know to put more soap which is important because the bathroom is for men /women so only one bathroom. I'm writing this review because I would hate for this place to close and lose another great spot for drinks and a good place to work. The drinks are good every time I come, and the workers are friendly. They've done a lot of nice work decorating the interior and even have a patio outside which is super nice because it's in the shade but with access to the street. Wifi is fast, and the tables are a perfect width for 2 people to work with their laptops back to back. Most coffee shops from my experience use these tiny tables that feel flimsy and cramped. The seats are also nice, This is a boba shop and it's better than 95% of coffee shops I've tried to work at.
