Beautiful and cozy with delicious assortment of drinks and desserts. Ordered the seasonal Peach & Lime Refresher with lychee and it was so good and perfect for the summer. Recommend light sugar, light ice. I also tried the Roasted Oolong Latte w/ Boba. The flavor is also good in this one. Boba is fresh but a little on the chewy side. Not too sweet either, mostly a texture addition. It's a very clean cafe with so much seating and charging ports, so a spot for work/study or casual hangouts. It's so quiet and calming here, especially around opening time, and I adore the personality in the decor here! Parking is very easy and accessible in the attached structure. Price point is good for the value. Service is kind too. Wish I was a local so I could stop by often and get work done here. Highly recommend you check this spot out!
On this most recent visit, what did we order? - Matcha Cloud w/Boba - Oreo Shake w/Boba - Cocoa Crunch I can't thank Savina the shop girl enough actually. Initially because I didn't see any coffee offerings on their menu, I ordered a tea. But later in conversation I asked her if they had any coffee. "We do, but just one." She went on, "Would you like that?" She said she hadn't started the tea I ordered yet and it would be an easy swap. I replied "Yes." I'm so glad we did it. Cocoa Crunch is my definite go to moving forward. I'm not a big boba tea drinker personally, but my kids love it so I'm usually just left without a coffee option. Problem solved! Thanks Savina! In terms of ambiance, I noticed they did some redecorating. Seating is changed, kinda takes away from the aesthetic but on the positive it increased the amount of seating. Books, one of my daughter's favorite features of Sunny Tea, looks like they removed an entire collection. She was so sad to see it go. Till next time
Mango shaved ice? Yes please! Went for an after-dinner dessert. Found they used what looked like champagne mangoes! Whatever mangoes they used, it was amazingly sweet. Probably could have eaten two of them haha. Will be back.
Sunny Tea Studio is a great spot in Downtown Fullerton to cool off on a hot day! I tried the Strawberry Shave Ice, Peach Cloud, Lemon Jasmine Tea, and Matcha Mochi Box, and everything was delicious. The shave ice was light, fluffy, and refreshing, the drinks were flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the matcha mochi was soft, chewy, and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly, and the shop had a welcoming atmosphere. Decor of the shop was a cute themed spot.
Cute little dessert spot for shaved ice and drinks! This place is a little hidden. Park in the structure (free) and walk a short distance. A nice little hang out spot! Give this place a try!

This dessert café has a charming and cozy interior with plenty of spacious tables, making it a comfortable place to study, work, or catch up with friends. The seating layout is definitely one of its biggest strengths, and the service was pleasant enough. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable sewage-like odor inside that made it difficult to fully enjoy the atmosphere. The café was also surprisingly warm, which wasn't very comfortable while sitting for an extended period. As for the desserts, the portions were incredibly generous, so you'll definitely get a lot for your money. However, they were far too sweet for my taste, making it difficult to finish them. If you have a strong sweet tooth, you may enjoy them more than I did. Overall, it's a cute spot with great seating and oversized desserts, but the unusual smell, warm indoor temperature, and overly sweet flavors would keep me from returning regularly.

The charming decor features cherry blossoms, anime comic books, and cute figurines, creating a great atmosphere for families & students. We tried jasmine mousse tea, peach oolong mousse tea, soybean shaved ice, and matcha/choco mochi. The mochi was my favorite--soft and perfectly sweet! The jasmine tea was delightful too. Everything got a solid 5/5 from me, and the exceptional service made our visit even better! We loved it.

Their "perfect sweetness" is not sweet AT ALL, and I say this as someone who is more sensitive to sugar. MANGO MOCHI: 5/5. I've never had a drink textured like this before. The "liquid" mochi had a soft and velvety mouthfeel, and the flavor was very much mango-forward. I'd come back for this one. MATCHA COCONUT: 4/5. Holy matcha. I'm a matcha lover and this one was strong, even for me. If this were a group project, matcha did all the work while coconut hung out with friends. While this one was not for me, I can recognize the quality of the matcha here. MATCHA CLOUD: 4/5. Surprisingly good. The cloud had a strong cream flavor and mellowed out the sharp matcha well. I thought this one was more balanced than the coconut. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE: 4/5. Pretty solid. The shortcake itself seemed like a plain base with silky smooth cream layers, and the strawberry topping was refreshing and delicious, I wished there was more strawberry incorporated into the cake.
I went back to Sunny Tea after my last visit and I'm glad they took some things to heart. The server was friendly and they provided bowls for us to share our mango shaved ice. The ice was very fine and the mango was just right. If you get a side of condensed milk in the side, it's perfect! I also got a lemon Jasmine tea and it was actually very refreshing and not overly sweet like the typical lemon tea drinks.

My favorite drink was the Monkey Milkshake, which had a delicious chocolate banana flavor. The shop has such a cute atmosphere and fun decor. Service was friendly, and I can't wait to visit again.

Got a strawberry shaved snow. It really was powdery like snowfall. The snow was clean tasting (not sugary), with all the sweetness in the strawberry ice cream, condensed milk and strawberry syrup. Enjoyed my time at this cutely decorated cafe in Fullerton. If you like aesthetic, whimsical shops then this spot is for you- there are trinkets all over the shop and the decor makes the vibe fun and playful. My friend and I got the mango passion fruit tea and peach oolong tea. Both were solid and not too sweet. Service was alright. No staff members said anything when we entered or ordered on the kiosk, nor did anyone call our orders/names out when our items were ready- the drinks were just placed on the counter without any communication. I really love the drinks at Sunny Tea Studio every summer I know to come to try their strawberry cloud. It's so good and not overly sweet and goes down easy. Service is nice and straightforward there are 2 tablets to place your order and the lovely workers place the food out in front when ready. Wait time was less than 15 min during lunch hour when the college and high school lets the students out. Ambiance is very chill and cozy the Sakura trees are cute and it is a good getaway from the heat. read more

Cute, clean little shop! I was debating between a boba drink, a shaved ice, or a little cake and decided on the boba. The matcha quality was good and the strawberry tasted fresh--- like a jam or compote, maybe? I ordered light sweetness and it was still a little sweeter than I expected but I'm sure they'd put less in if you asked. There's plenty of seating in the shop, and I noticed at least one outlet. Sunny tea is a cute place to meet up with a friend. It's next to ubutuba açaí and offers different caffeinated as well as decaffeinated drinks. The owner was extremely helpful in going through recommended drinks and even came over to give my friend and I a mochi dessert on the house. The mochi dessert was light and not too sweet-definitely met my standards for Asian dessert! I got a passion fruit mango drink 50% sweet and it was refreshing. If you're in a hurry, there's a kiosk to order drinks. There's plenty of comfortable sofa seating all around. read more
Nice and clean and very pleasant smelling place! Different seating options inside and out. The lady who was working here was sooo sweet!! She answered all of my questions about which drinks did not have caffeine and I ended up getting the mochi mango which was very refreshing! It had mochi at the bottom of the drink that were not bits, but rather a wad of mochi. She even offered me boba in the drink because she knew I liked boba. So she added a few pearls in the drink on the house. Very thoughtful! And after trying the boba, I found a new favorite tasting boba! I will definitely return. read more

First timer! I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful lady and used the restroom which was very clean however didn't have soap looked like mixed with water. The lady said she will let the owner know to put more soap which is important because the bathroom is for men /women so only one bathroom. The Thai Black tea with boba (posted pic below) was great and refreshing. The lady employee was very friendly and made my tea fast. They have outlets to charge your devices which I liked. The chairs are very comfortable to sit in and the tables are wide for you to layout your studying material. Great space and decor. This is a great place to study and grab a tea! There's plenty of space and seating both indoor and outdoors. Parking is available nearby or in the structure. The place is tucked in a cute little corner and the decorations inside are so cute! The service was friendly and the tea and dessert options were plentiful. We recommend the shaved ice as the snow is super soft and perfectly sweet. Best to be shared between 2-3 people. My boyfriend and I went to go try this place to see if they had any snacks! Unfortunately there was no takoyaki when we went :( ! The service was a bit slow due to I think only one person working there so please be patient with your items! Peach Oolong- super yummy and creamy! Sunny Tea Studio is such a cute spot--perfect for hanging out with friends or studying with a sweet treat. The service was super quick & refreshing to have. The mango shave ice was amazing with fresh mango and ice cream. The mochi taro drink was tasty with a nice balance between the mochi and the taro. Whereas the mochi box was chewy, delicious, and fun with the foam dip and chocolate cereal crunch texture. I loved how cute this place! You can read manga, study here! The ambiance is soo cutesy, aesthetically pleasing! They have pink sakura perfect for the kawaii place! Little cute figurines, stuffed animals, manga, plenty of seating inside and outside. Service is amazing! Very friendly and my drinks and desserts came out fast. I love the matcha! The shaved ice was light, fluffy, and delicious. The shop is beautifully decorated, perfect for photos or just relaxing and chatting, with soft piano music in the background. Small little boba place in downtown Fullerton. We got two drinks and the mochi box. Matcha Ceremonial - 2/5 Matcha wasn't very flavorful would not get again. Tasted a lot more of the milk Peach Oolong Mousse- 5/5 Very delicious and flavorful!! Definitely get it again Mochi Box- the matcha mochi box was really good. nice and bouncy and comes with a sea salt cream dip and choco rice crispy cereal I would def come again and try the other drinks, shaved ice, or if the takoyaki ever comes back. Tucked away in downtown Fullerton, Sunny Tea Studio is a cozy cafe that instantly transports you to lo-fi vibes in Japan. The menu has so much to offer, especially for my mochi lovers. We got their bestselling drink called the mochi mango that has actual stretchy mochi in it--you have to try this! But their mochi box, oh my goodness, comes dusted with ceremonial grade matcha, cheese mousse, and cocoa pebbles that gives it that ideal balance of chewy and crunchy. so yummy and so cute!! my boyfriend and i came on a wednesday around 6 and there were no other customers. they have 2 ordering kiosks which i liked in order to browse without feeling rushed. inside is very clean and spacious. lots of seating inside and out and super cute decor everywhere. it's tucked away in a plaza so you don't really notice it unless you're really looking. mochi mango (5/5) - this was super yummy! the mochi was really soft and silky with a neutral taste. not clumpy or thick like some other places i've had it! the drink itself was good as well, not overly sweet. oolong tea latte (5/5) - my boyfriend got this with the barley and chestnut popping bobas. the tea was really good, it tasted fresh and not overly steeped. the popping bobas tasted a bit like brown rice and had a good pop/crunch texture. i'll definitely be coming back if i'm ever in the area!! i hope more people come, the man working was really kind as well! read more
