As a food truck owner selling Korean BBQ fusion tacos and burritos at the bustling food truck scenes(20+ trucks in one location everyday) of Washington DC back in the early 2010's, their bibim burtito should not be added to their menu. The sticky rice aka the medium grain rice consumed mostly by the Korean and the Japnese does not do well in the burritos. Their shrimp burger is so tasty that you start craving again after eating one. I can't imagine a shrimp patty made of rather shrimp paste as mentioned by someone who left a one star review. Looks like someone is so used to dining at the Dimsum restaurants. Lotteria does not have to be a Dimsum burger joint. We were so excited to try lotteria, I've been waiting for a chance to head to SoCal to come check it out. We got the bimbim burger, the shrimp burger and cheese seasoned shaker fries. I do love fast food although I try to limit myself so I'm glad I live in NorCal otherwise I'd be at lotteria quite often. The bimbim burger was so tasty, the rice buns were so flavorful. I could just eat the rice buns. The shrimp burger was delicious and is similar to a fish filet in a way but way better imo, It definitely has more flavor. The shaker fries were good but then again I'm an equal opportunist to all fries so my take can be a bit biased. They were all consistently crispier, none were limps, all were crispy with crunchy ends. When we are back in SoCal wr are definitely coming back. Finally found the time to visit LOTTERIA and my partner and I were excited to try the original K-Burger concept fast food. Comparing them with classic American style concept burgers is fascinating. We ordered 4 shrimp burgers, shake it nuggets (onion seasoning), and shake it fries (cheese seasoning), all to share and our order came out pretty quickly. Pretty efficient with the speed. We also noticed 3 self ordering kiosks but they were all offline. Interior is pretty clean and spacious, plenty of tables indoor and outdoor has some as well. Pretty standard for a fast food restaurant. I also noticed that on the left wall, they had popular kpop boy group TXT visiting LOTTERIA, very cool! Food wise, I was impressed with the shrimp burger, it wasn't too heavy and the shrimp portion is flavorful. I was impressed with the sizing of the burger as well. As for the shake it fries and nuggets, they were also very delicious. I personally prefer the nuggets as they had a bit of sweet taste to it along with saltiness. Shrimp burgers were okay to me, nothing too special where I would go out of my way to come back. They have some type of thousand island-like dressing inside with some lettuce. I'm glad that I got to try it when it was $1 because $6.99 seems pretty pricey to me. Also tried their shake it fries with onion powder, which was also just okay. I prefer Potato Corner's fries as the onion powder here was not up to par. Service was still good despite the busy influx of customers for their anniversary deal, so thumbs up for that-- I only waited around 5-10 minutes. Came here twice in the past two weeks for their recent anniversary promos. Last week I got their $1 bibim rice wrap which was pretty good. Basically like a rice burrito with a bit of beef inside, and decently spicy from the gochujang sauce. Then the next week I went for the $1 shrimp burger, which was SUCH a good deal, and a solid burger tbh. The inside feels very much like a very clean fast food restaurant, like a burger king or mcdonalds. I also came near the end of the business hours so there was a long line of other people trying to get the promo. Even the drive through line was crazy long. Despite that, the servers handled the rush really well both times and were friendly enough. Would recommend trying them out if you're interested and curious. Shout out to the business for hosting these promos, they're such a good deal and I don't think I would try them otherwise as this location is very out of the way for me. I loved my first experience at Lotteria so much, I just wish they had one closer to home :( I initially came because I'm a huge fan of TXT and I knew that they had been largely involved in the promo when this location first opened. It was so fun to see their pictures and a shirt that they had signed right when I walked in, but the food itself was so delicious and fresh that I was already thinking of an excuse to come all the way to Fullerton again. The space was very clean and has an elevated McDonald's feel. I ordered on a kiosk and my food came out relatively quickly. As it's pretty far, we decided to try a few different things from the menu, but my favorite had to be the Shrimp Burger. The patty itself was so flavorful and the texture was great; it was perfectly crispy and the bigger pieces of shrimp were a perfect addition. Next time, I would probably skip out on the Shake It Chicken because I felt like I got more batter than actual chicken, but the Shake It Fries with cheese powder were a must-order. On Sunday, June 28th, I visited Lotteria in Fullerton and bought a shrimp burger as a snack for $7.53. A few days later, I saw on social media that Lotteria was celebrating America's 250th anniversary by offering its Double Shrimp Burger for just $2.50 for two days only, on July 2nd and July 3rd. Since it was such a great deal, I went back for lunch on July 3rd. The restaurant was busy, probably because of the promotion. The $2.50 Double Shrimp Burger was limited to two per customer, but the burger was much bigger than I expected. After seeing billboards for this place, I honestly thought it had to be some amazing new burger spot. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. The food didn't make a good first impression. The presentation alone left a lot to be desired. The Chicken Sandwich looked hastily assembled, with a squished bun, lettuce spilling everywhere, and a giant chicken filet awkwardly hanging out the sides. The Shrimp and Bulgogi Burger looked just as sloppy. I can't believe they would think that it was OK to serve the burgers to customers this way. The patty was thin, the toppings were messy, and the cheese wasn't melted. We had specifically requested extra melting because we noticed this issue in photos beforehand, but it still arrived the same way. How are people raving on and on about the Shrimp Burger? It tasted so weird. I felt like I was eating fried dough with some shrimp pieces mixed in there. If the patty only consisted of shrimp, made into paste, mixed with breadcrumbs then deep fried, I might've enjoyed it a little more. Quite frankly that was kind of what I had envisioned in my mind, but boy was I disappointed. Since the burgers were fairly small and we couldn't finish the Shrimp Burger because ... "Hello taste?! You in there?'' we ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich hoping it would redeem the meal. Unfortunately, that was another letdown. The chicken looked nothing like the advertised photos. (See the comparison photo if you don't believe me.) The filet was flat, lacked the crispy coating, tasted old and stale, and overall not the kind of fried chicken one would expect from a Korean fried chicken restaurant. Honestly, a fried chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A or even Jack in the Box would taste better. The only good thing about this place is the friendly cashier person and clean space. Sadly, good service and a clean dining room aren't enough to make up for the disappointing food. Decided to go through the drive thru to try a couple of things on a whim. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of options! Had the bulgogi burger and shrimp burger. Finally tried LOTTERIA and got to eat the double bulgogi cheeseburger, fries and the bibim rice burger on this visit. The bulgogi cheeseburger was good but maybe not as 'oh my' as I had hoped. The slices of cheese were not melted onto the patties which I kinda expected them to be? With the bibim rice burger, I had hoped the rice 'buns' were pan fried to a point where they are firm enough to pick up like a burger yet has a soft inside but it was on the soft side so you'll need to eat it with a knife and fork. Flavor was authentic otherwise. I'm still not sure about the shrimp burger??? I do like fish sandwiches so maybe it's better than I think? I had been wanting to try out this place for quite sometime! It is in a small building, but has a this warm and inviting ambiance. Very clean and well-maintained. There is also a t-shirt memorabilia from TXT (K-Pop group) hanging on their wall. The staff was very attentive too. This is the ONLY location in the US! I wish there were more. Ample parking outside and there was a small outdoor seating area. We had ordered through their touch screen machine which was easy. To start off, Lotteria feels like a breathe of fresh air when it comes to restaurants in the Fullerton area. I've lived in this area for most of my life and there really aren't any restaurants similar to this, from the variety of items to the flavors of each thing itself. I also love that there's always some kind of promotion or deal to bring customers in and open the door to the rest of the menu. Big parking lot serving many businesses but it shouldn't be a problem finding a spot. If dining in or stepping in for take out, order on the iPad then grab your order from the counter once it's ready. They had a good amount of indoor seating with highchairs available, plus a really nice patio area. The tables were all clean & felt relaxed despite being along a busy street. They even had cute little battery-operated candles on the tables, awwww! On the menu, there are a few items from Korea you won't see at this US location but they have most of the basics. Burgers are the main thing here and in order of deliciousness to me, they're ranked: 1.Shrimp Burger - it's just so darn crispy with chunks of shrimp inside! 2. Bulgogi Burger - i need to try the deluxe next time but the basic had delicious flavor. 3. Bibim Rice Burger - this is fun but messy to eat with it's rice patties. it feel apart pretty quickly but if you like spicy gochujang, you'll love this. I loved the shake it chicken, both the cheese and onion flavors were great. I would skip getting the chicken again though because there wasn't much meat under all that deep fried breading. Waited over six months to try it. My 4 stars is based on what I ordered today. I really liked my shrimp Burger! $6.99. Would definitely order again. Also got the bulgolgi fries. It was good too. Would enjoy it better if fries were hot and more crispy. No lines anymore like when they first opened. Service was efficient and friendly through drive thru. I was pretty excited I was able to go to Fullerton this week because I've been wondering what this place tasted like. I thought of originally ordering two burgers, but discovered that they had a burger that combined both the shrimp and the bulgogi patty together, thanks to the really helpful recommendation from the server. In addition to that, I tried some of the chicken shakers with an onion seasoning, along with a bingsoo, all to the recommendation of the server. First, I was really happy with how the burger turned out. Eating all of the patties together really was something special, but also individually taking bites out of each the shrimp and the bulgogi patties didn't disappoint either. They were both high quality patties with a lot of flavor, which I found a bit surprising because I typically don't like the taste of bulgogi (but I guess that's what happens when you eat it all the time growing up). I'd definitely recommend getting the shrimp bulgogi burger for sure. That recommendation from the server was spot on. The bingsoo, another recommendation, was full of flavor and had a lot of toppings. I was surprised at the end of it too, because when I went outside, I felt like I needed a jacket because that's how chilled I felt after eating it. I really enjoyed this mixture of shaved ice, a vanilla like flavor and the toppings. The only downside is I think they freeze the flower cookie at the top, so it's a bit harder than it would be if it was served at room temperature. But this was definitely worth getting too! For the chicken, I don't know. I went off script here and feel like fries would've been a better choice... I'm kinda disappointed I didn't try the fries instead. Like it's good, but you can get better chicken elsewhere... Also the onion seasoning that you shake in a bag to coat the chicken was pretty sweet. I think a little more sweeter than I anticipated. Maybe next time I'll try the cheese seasoning instead. Overall, I'm really happy I got to try this and I want to come back. Everyone who works here is really kind and attentive and makes great recommendations. The ambiance is great because you even get to see cool cartoon burgers on the outside. Tried Lotteria out of curiosity -- Korean fast food with some unique menu items you don't see every day. I ordered the Bibim Rice Burger with fries, and it was definitely an interesting experience. Instead of a traditional bun, the burger uses pressed rice patties, which was cool but definitely requires a little strategy to eat. It tasted good, but it's not something you can easily hold and bite into like a normal burger. I ended up grabbing a plate and fork, which honestly made it much more enjoyable. Flavor-wise, everything was solid and nicely seasoned, and the fries were good as well. Overall, it was a fun change of pace and something different from standard fast food. Next time, I'll probably try a regular bulgogi burger or the shrimp burger, which seem like they'd be easier to eat on the go.
