This is a very small shop next to the tattoo and barbershop on harbor boulevard. I came here while my bf was getting a tattoo. They have plenty of options, but was recommended the Ubus by the artist at the shop. I decided to get a crab meat and a salmon one. The girl at the front was very nice and patient with me while I decided what I wanted. The Ubus came out pretty quick in a cute packaging with napkins and chopsticks. My favourite was the crab meat one but the salmon was also very good with some seasoning that was absorbed by the rice on the bottom making it very tasty! I would highly recommend the Ubus as a quick snack or meal.

I was craving tteokbokki and I was satisfied here! The cashier was very nice to let me know that there was a combo deal of tteokbokki and one Inari for $12! That's a steal if you ask me. Food was absolutely delicious. I'll be back.

~ Basically like. Korean 7/11 ~ I went during their soft opening. They provide discounts to students. The salmon is my favorite one! They also have that self service ramen that went viral on tiktok. There's lots of seating inside and other food than the sushi pockets.

Located in downtown Fullerton, parking could be a little bit challenging during busy times. This place is small with limited seatings, and you place your order at the counter before finding a table. We tried the five piece yubu special, which was fine, but nothing stood out. They also offer self serve ramen, cupbab, nigiri, snacks, and more but we didn't see anything on the menu that would draw us back for another visit.

Solid lunch spot! I love their combo deals. It's so worth! Their yubus are pretty big with a decent filling to rice ratio! I tried the fresh salmon, unagi, and crab ubu! The eel was a little boney which made it a little hard to eat. Overall solid!

Ordered through the Yelp app from here. I was having a late lunch and had dinner plans and tried a chicken teriyaki ubu and a salmon ubu. Each one was $7.19 and they were good but not filling. I would recommend this for a light snack where you leave feeling like you respected your body's wishes for not overeating or eating junk food on your lunch break. It delicious and it's just enough, but for $7.19 you could get more elsewhere, especially if you're feeling super hungry. Parking is located behind the store, but you have to walk all the way around to the front of the store to enter. There's no entrance in the back. This place also sells Asian or Korean & Japanese snacks and they have ramen stations where you can buy a pack of ramen noodles and make it right there in the store.

We ordered the 5-piece special -- fresh salmon, eel, two spicy tuna, and crab -- and everything was super fresh! Honestly one of the ubu I've tried in SoCal. We also got the bulgogi sandwich and wow... total hidden gem! So flavorful and surprisingly filling. The staff were super nice too. We opted to grab spam musubi and onigiri on the way out because of how nice they were. Can't wait to try it at home! Can't wait to come back and try the ramen self-serve bar and tteokbokki next time. Ubu Ubu is definitely a new fave spot!

Really enjoyed this small spot off Harbor blvd. The 5 for $25 Inari deal was really attractive and everything tasted so good! We shared the Eel, tuna, and buldak chicken inari, they were pretty huge. Five pieces were more than enough for 2 people to share. The eel was definitely the standout, melts in your mouth. The instant ramen selection is quite extensive. It's fun to pick out your own and use the cooker to make your own, my wife liked that a lot. There's limited seating, so it may get a little crowded, but lunchtime wasn't too bad. Will definitely come back for more!

This place was delicious! My friends and I stopped by here after going Axe throwing next door. We were all pretty hungry and were delighted to find a yummy looking restaurant within walking distance. It seems to be a new(ish) spot & family owned. The cashier was really nice and what seemed to be either the owner/ manager was very nice too. He was very smiley & accommodating. It does take a little bit for the food to come out but my friends and I were busy talking to really notice. The wait was worth it though, the food was so good! I've never had yubu before but I was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful and savory it was! I definitely recommend the eel yubu! So so good

Very pricey for pretty average yubu. $6 each meaning 2 rice pockets costs almost as much as a chipotle bowl (with guac lol). The spicy meat toppings are actually pretty spicy. But the meat quality could be better. Rice to topping ratio was disappointing especially for $6 each I expected more.

Super delicious! Big portions, just the right amount of spice, and the onigini (삼각김밥) was tasty and so easy to enjoy!

Just checked out Ubu Ubu in downtown Fullerton - a small cute shop next to the pub. The staff and owner were super nice, explaining their menu and how carefully they prepare their dishes, especially the tteokbokki. This place is perfect for sharing different dishes with friends. I got the ramyun, spicy buldak onigiri, tamago and salmon ubu. The ramyun is cooked right at the store, and goes perfectly with the ubu and onigiri!! The ubu had this nice smoky taste with a slightly sweet flavor that worked really well together. I'll definitely come back to try their tteokbokki!

After trying yubu at another spot, I was excited to see that this place opened up closer to me. This cute little shop is located in downtown Fullerton, with a large parking lot behind it. Here you can order yubu pockets, kimbap, make your own ramen, or grab some fruit sandos. I tried the salmon yubu and spicy tuna yubu. The salmon tasted fresh and mixed well with the sweet yubu pockets. The spicy tuna is similar quality to spicy tuna you'd find in a sushi roll. Both had a fairly strong kick to them, which I ended up realizing was due to a bit of wasabi put on top. I'm not a huge fan of wasabi so it was a bit off putting for me. If I were to order it again, I'd probably ask for no wasabi. The service is friendly and everything about the ordering process was easy. There are some seats here if you wanted to dine in or you can easily order and take it togo. Pricing is pretty standard for the area that it's in -- I think it's about $4-6 per yubu.

I ordered the blueberry lavender matcha with oat milk and banana toffee foam, and we also got the coconut cloud matcha with chunky coconut water. The coconut cloud matcha was by far the creamiest, most delicious, perfectly made matcha I've ever had. It was so good I wanted to go back and re-rate every other matcha review I've written. We didn't try any of the snacks or desserts. They just didn't look very appealing, and the cooler where the desserts were kept seemed dirty and not well maintained. The vibe inside was nice. Several tables were full of people catching up with friends, while others were working or studying. It felt relaxed and welcoming. That said, there are two things that are a poor reflection of the café--and both are easily fixed. First, we asked for a small splash of additional coconut water to top off the drink. The staff told us we would need to order a whole new drink for that. Every other place I've been would have handled such a simple request without issue. Second, the café needs better cleaning and organization. The bathroom looked like a public beach bathroom--it was really bad and honestly disgusting. I walked in just to wash my hands and was shocked at how dirty it was. In the hallway there's also a big pile of supplies just thrown together that looks messy and unsightly. The matcha was outstanding, but the cleanliness and the inflexibility on a tiny request left a sour note.

Just be aware of parking signs in the area. There is a good amount of seating inside but availability can be limited during busy times. There are two screens people can order from or if you have cash, you can order at the register. In addition to their drinks, there are some various food options such as muffins, spam musubis, and a breakfast burrito. We ordered a double matcha, matcha einspanner, and a breakfast burrito w bacon to share. The drinks were decent but I've had a better matcha einspanner elsewhere. We had to wait a bit until our burrito was heated or made. It was surprisingly pretty good!
