Sushi here was out of this world! The salmon sushi is my favorite resembling a buttery texture and impeccable flavor. All of the rolls we ordered were blissfully wonderful and fulfilling! The lady serving us was patient, kind and helpful. 10/10 would go again!

This review is about the patio and live music. My husband and I saw the British Invasion band on Saturday. They were awesome! The dance floor was packed. The weather was perfect and the patio is lovely. We shared a lemon salmon roll and garlic edamame. Both items were fantastic. We are lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful patio in Downtown. The service was great as always.

Ordered three rolls of sushi and one hand roll. Also had some udon noodles! Everything was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Bathroom was super cute and clean!

My sister and I found this place in a cute plaza in downtown Fullerton & I'm so glad we stopped in. The sushi is melt-in-your-mouth GOOD. You can tell they care about quality! there was more fish than rice (always a win), and the rice itself was soft. Every bite felt super fresh. Service was fast and genuinely kind. The staff was really attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Prices were super reasonable too! around $13-$20, which is pretty standard for sushi, but the quality felt above average. Not too busy when we went, and they had calming music playing, which made the whole vibe even better!

What a great place for lowkey chill sushi! I came here for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30pm, the restaurant wasn't busy but had a few tables. They had lots to choose from but my favorite I ordered was the Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice, it was spicy but sweet with the crunch! The ambience inside is beautiful and mellow. The outdoor seating is something i'd love to try too!

I keep hearing about sushi fire and since it's right near me, I figured I'd better go check it out. I am a huge sushi fan and it better be good. Upon arriving our lovely server Me lani was amazing. We had sushi, sashimi, albacore avocado roll, edamame, miso soup, tempura shrimp, egg rolls, sake, you name it lol and everything was spectacular! The place is really cute but the sushi bar side doesn't open until 4 o'clock daytime serves lunch on the other side and on the patio, but the sushi chef is working behind the sushi bar in the closed off room. We will definitely be back again. it was fresh. It was beautiful and the service couldn't have been better .

First time in this nice set up of a sushi restaurant they have plenty of space for outside dining and a small space for indoor. I guess in the evening people tend to take the tables outside. This restaurant is right at the corner of Harbor Blvd and Chapman Ave. My wife ordered the Hamachi Kama Bento box the main dish is the Broiled Yellow Tail Collar and mixed Shrimp Tempura. The tempura was small and burnt and not golden however. The Yellow Tail Collar tasted just like regular fish. I ordered Salmon Handroll and Salmon tempura. The hand roll was good but the Salmon Roll was smaller than the picture of the menu ( see my pictures) Service was fast. Coming back here for a second time, I might think twice.

There is no sushi bar here. All food is prepared in the kitchen which is out of sight. The food: 10/10. We shared the large sashimi platter and the spicy tuna crispy rice. I had an additional blue crab hand roll. All were excellent. And the fresh wasabi was delicious! The ambience: 3/10. We found the vibe to be a downer. They are obviously a Christian restaurant and play Christian Muzak-style instrumental on a tv screen with the playlist and the lyrics to the songs on the screen. There are also bible verses on the menus. I don't object to their (or anyone's) religious preference, but I don't think it should be foisted on diners who just want to eat some good sushi. I won't go back, as there far more upbeat and fun restaurants with sushi bars and a much cooler vibe.

The Spicy Crab & Scallop Hand Roll was delicious!

The place was all decked out for the holidays... ornaments, lights, poinsettias, & Christmas music all around! There's indoor & outdoor (w/ heaters) seating. It's very cute, quaint, & casual, but could easily be romantic if you choose a table off to the side. Our server was very attentive & sweet. Her voice was almost sing-songy... such a lovely lady! We were very happy with the Nami roll, the spicy crab & scallop hand roll, & another roll I didn't get to photograph because it was gobbled up too quickly! Something albacore w/ spicy mayo on top - yum!! Even my simple bento box was delicious... the curry, the sauce for the gyoza, the crispy chicken breast - nothing to complain about. All the sauces & textures were just perfect. The only thing missing from the menu are no-rice rolls. Other than that, we'll be going back. They were out of the madame jasmine tea, & I luuv me some lychee, so I'll even go back just for that!

We ordered sushi rolls, sashimi, and ramen, and everything was really good. The sashimi was especially fresh and high quality. There is also a bar with beer and sake, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy, with a clean and bright indoor space and an outdoor patio. The staff was friendly, and parking was easy in the parking lot. Overall a great experience and we would definitely come back.

Sushi Fire is such a solid spot. The ambience is modern and chill, the service is friendly and attentive, and the sushi is always fresh and delicious. Everything comes out fast and looks amazing. Definitely a go-to place when you're craving good sushi.

My friend was in the mood for sushi so we decided to try this place next to our favorite tea spot in DTF. To start, this place looks like it needs to be updated, the menu is a bit confusing- they could have the sushi and sashimi in the front and any extra stuff like ramen in the back. Not many staff, so you have to wait some time to get some service. The whole place looks like it caters to women because me and my friend were the only men there. It could be a cool sushi bar, but that's my personal opinion. Restrooms are decently clean. Not a bad place but it left me underwhelmed.

Very mid sushi, the service was good however the sushi wasn't very fresh and the edamame was squishy and smelly. Wouldn't dine in again

Sometimes they can have a long wait, but that proves that they are great at their craft. Not only do they serve ramen, but they also offer rice bowls if you aren't in the mood for something soupy. They are a small shop, but I am always impressed with how quick the food comes out no matter how busy or how slow the restaurant may be. This is a great place for the winter or if you are out late with friends and you want to eat some good food!

Ages ago, during Titan-con, the anime/nerd convention run by the college, my friends and I decided to grab some ramen here. I could barely fit in the car since I couldn't take the Oda Nobunaga hat off of my head without taking off the wig, so that was a very hilarious memory. We came slightly before the weekend lunch rush so we didn't have to wait, but I can see this place getting super busy and fisted. There's bar counter seating (which we got) that surrounds the entire kitchen area and a decent amount of tables, but knowing people's love for ramen, and how a lot of the OC is a hellscape, it can get quite fisted. Service was friendly and welcoming, being in such a busy area and near a college, I'm sure staff have seen and experienced much more and polite people in cosplay weren't too much of a shock. I got their Aka Ramen which is made from kara (spicy) miso. Comes with 2 pieces of chashu and a seasoned soft boiled egg. I'm not a fan of beansprouts, so I made sure to donate this to a friend. Nice rich miso broth, and like many Japanese restaurant places (that don't have the ability to super build and customize), it has a slight heat, but not super spicy in the slightest. Noodles are thin style and had a nice texture to it that went well with the broth. Overall, not bad.
