    Spicy miso

Opens 11:00 am to 1:00am (next day) Small, cozy ramen spot serving Japanese fusion for lunch and dinner. There's usually a bit of a wait, and only one bathroom, but they do offer takeout which helps offset that. Free refills on Soda & lemonade for $3.99 Ramen $18.95 - $20 Appetizers $6.95 - $10 Rice bowls $11-$13 Toppings 1.75 - $3.50 jalepenos, green onions, mushrooms, egg, kimchi, pork chatsu, fried garlic etc The noodles stand out immediately slightly thick, springy, and elastic with a clean bite. They hold the broth well without getting soggy, giving that "bouncy" texture you notice with each bite. YUM I ordered the Aka (spicy miso), and the broth came rich and bold with a noticeable salty edge. Adding mushrooms, extra egg, and onions balanced it out and softened the intensity while layering more depth into the flavor. He got the Kuro (tonkotsu shoyu), which was more savory and smooth, with that classic soy-based richness. Overall: strong flavors, great noodle texture, and customizable bowls. Small space, but worth it if you're patience. P.s Post your photos and check in for Free can soda and calico (yogurt drink)

I have been coming here evenings on Tuesday and Friday with some friends. We are promptly seated in this cozy Japanese Ramen spot. The smell of amazing fresh food, the sound of upbeat music and laughs fills the space. The food is amazing. I feel light and full. They also have a great pitcher of Asahi beer.

Totally impressed with this place! I came here for a late lunch on a weekday and there was no wait (around 1pm). The restaurant is pretty small inside and I almost got lost finding the storefront! I got the chuka soba (chicken broth) with a lunch special size california roll (4pc). The ramen tasted really authentic. I tried the other broths that were also ordered, and they all were unique and very solid. My fave that I tried was the chicken paitan, so I'll remember to get that next time! Service was great! Very attentive. And the food came out so fast and piping hot. Really good place to get ramen!

Came here on a Sat at 12:30pm and was able to sit down right away. It was busy, but thankfully there wasn't a waitlist. Service, by Angel, was very fast. Took order immediately and offered water. Food came out quick within 5 mins and finished meal within 20 mins. AKA which is Pork Broth Tonkatsu is good, and hot, but spicy. Noodles are bit thinner, and comes with 2 pieces of pork which was nicely cooked and 1/2 an egg.

I've been coming to this spot ever since I discovered they have an amazing Chuka Soba. For ramen, I think Chuka Soba is one of those noodle dishes that you can eat everyday, whereas Tonkotsu or Miso might be too heavy for every day consumption. Their Chuka Soba here has the perfect balance of umami, saltiness, and toppings. The toppings include bamboo, spinach, half egg, Naruto, two slices of chashu and seaweed. My favorite is the flavor oil that is so fragrant in such a clean soup base, it gives a huge amount of flavor. I usually come for lunch and order their combination with comes with a side and ramen. Service is very quick and friendly, the waitstaff checks up on you without having to waive them down. Very close to CSU Fullerton so a lot of college students dine here.

In short, great hole in the wall spot for authentic ramen. IiRC, I tried to take my +1 here years ago but the place was so busy w we couldn't even get our names in. Tonight, the place was packed but we were able to get a table for 3 in short order. We were hungry, so we ordered a few things off the appetizer menu and a large hot saki to share. The teriyaki chicken was a perfect meal for my "little." It was tender and not too sweet. We also ordered a spicy tuna and a California roll. They were great additions to our bowls of ramen to fill us up. I ordered the tonkatsu and it was delicious. The broth was rich and the pork was tender. My +1 ordered the Aha ramen which she also enjoyed. For everything we ordered, the price was reasonable. Our servers were just attentive enough, and we enjoyed our experience. Highly recommended.

Super yummy ramen! Staff is also really sweet. We got the kuro ramen which is a tonkotsu soy sauce based broth and it was very appetizing and satisfied our cravings for sure! Would totally recommend this place if you're in the CSUF area!

5 stars all the way!! What's up Men still has all the right ingredients and great service here in beautiful Fullerton next to the university. I got their Amazing Shiro Ramen broth which is smooth and delicate flavor with house garden salad. The Kimchi fried rice was fire today so beautiful and delicious made fresh to order never frozen. Same for their famous spicy tuna rolls. Finally they got homemade fresh Japanese kimchi that is delicious. With the hot weather today this is just the right way to enjoy your afternoon lunch today. Thank goodness for the sunshine and warmth oh Heavenly Father.

Nothing wrong with a little late night Ramen! As a Ramen snob, I was pleasantly surprised by my first visit to What's up Men. Walked in at around 10:30pm (I love a late night dinner) and were immediately sat. The ambiance is super casual with tons of young people enjoying themselves. One thing about me, I am super duper picky about my ramen. I really only enjoy a handful of places and I was pleasantly surprised with my meal at Whats up men! I opted for the spicy miso and gyoza. Both were great! My favorite part were the sauces on the side. I love dressing up my ramen and it made my bowl even that much more delicious. And of course, we finished it off with an ice cold pitcher of beer. Great to round out the meal. Loved my late night meal at Whats up men! I'm sure ill be back to slurp up an 11pm bowl again very soon.

By far my favorite ramen spot. Finding a spot with a good veggie ramen is hard. Although the tanmen has chicken broth, it's nice to have a non-pork option with veggies. An egg was a nice add on and less expensive than most ramen places. Place is small but they get you in and out quickly. Staff are friendly. I highly recommend what's up men.

The servers are super nice and food came out super fast! Right by Cal State Fullerton and they open pretty late! Will definitely come back!

My go-to ramen spot. I've never had a bad experience here. Their thin and soft ramen reminds me of Ichiran.

Kara miso ramen!! Always my go to place for a late night japanese ramen!
