2 Chicken Plates and Crunch Dragon Roll
    Liz F.

Wow, what a find! I've passed by this restaurant many times and heard great things about their food and prices. I finally had a chance to go today and was pleasantly surprised to see their fair prices, especially this economy, and generous portions! It is a to go only, but there is ample space to sit while you wait. They are quick, good service, and worth the short wait! I ordered 2 chicken plates and a Crunch Dragon roll - which 1 plate was enough to share but it's ok, I'll have lunch for tomorrow. I'll definitely be back and a regular to try more items on their menu!

I have been hearing about how good this place is on Instagram, so since I have physical therapy in that area, I decided to try it out. The line was long but moved fast. I ordered the chicken plate with rice and salad, vegetable and shrimp tempura, with a side of edamame. The chicken was very tender and flavorful without the sauce. Tempura was just ok it was too crunchy. Edamame was good. Across-the-board the the food and the unbelievable prices are amazing. They need to upgrade their furniture they have chairs that are very torn up and can give you a splinter. I will go back soon. Effortless parking in the parking lot. Note: They make fresh cut rolls.

It's really 4.5 stars but I will round up. How many of you have seen this place after all those TikTok and IG clips ?!?!? Parking is super easy. I went a little before 2pm so the wait wasn't bad, maybe 10 min. It was still pretty busy. Since I made a bit of a trek from South OC, I had to get my money's worth. I ordered the following rolls Alaskan, Ken's Special, Philly, Spanish and the Baked Salmon. My fav was the baked salmon. It's definitely the best bang for your buck sushi. The quality is great for the price you pay. Enjoy the pics. If I am in the area I will definitely stop in again!

This came with salad and miso soup

Very nice .... affordable and straight to the point. This takeout only place seems to be run by efficient people. The menu says it all. Simple and not overpriced Of course the sushi isn't high class but it does get you by.... Located in a strip mall just before the usps branch... There's always a line during peak hours so go on non-peak. You line up. Order and pay at the counter then wait for your name to be called: everything is for takeout though. The bowl prices are affordable..ambiance wise.. it's only take out and most of the people that go here are students and nearby office workers... Will i be back.. probably yes! Everything was quick even if there was a line.

DON'T tell your friends about this place! The line is constantly out the door and down the sidewalk we don't need the line any longer. BUT there is a good reason for that! THE most reasonably priced delicious sushi I have had. The local college students love this place. We like the spicy tuna rolls, Mexican roll, Alaskan roll, and eel. It's a mom and pop type place. You better be ready to order when you get to the front of the line because the mom that runs this place is fast! They have a lot of staff so the food doesn't take too long considering the line. It's not a fancy place, it's take out only, There are other options like bento boxes and teriyaki bowls. You also can pour on spicy mayo or eel sauce on your food before you leave. It's our new favorite take out sushi especially because of the price.

Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon/evening and the place was packed! There was a line outside the restaurant but luckily it was moving fast and the wait wasn't too long. Vibes were super casual and restaurant only does takeout orders with chairs inside the restaurant for those waiting for their orders. Staff was attentive and parking was easy in a shared lot. 1. Alaskan Roll- generous layer of salmon over a cali roll- super fresh and definitely for the salmon lovers 2. Salmon hand roll- packed with sashimi and fresh avocado. Generous portions of both and probably something I'd get again! Best enjoyed fresh though as seaweed gets soggy if it sits out for too long. 3. 5 piece sushi, 8 piece cali roll combo- solid combo to try a variety of sushi. Also tasted very fresh and appreciated how it came with a side of miso soup and salad! At this affordable price and good quality, I would definitely return to try other menu items!

This is a casual sushi and protein bowl/plate for an affordable price that is hard to come by in this current economy. That I will commend for that as I noticed most of the customers are college students and possibly those with tight living budgets. This is a takeout only place as they cleared out all the tables and chairs away. Because this was our first time here, we had some questions about the menu and wanted to clarify if we were able to choose certain fish or if it was a set menu. When it was our turn to order, we asked the cashier, who I think is part of the family business. She was so annoyed at us for asking if we were able to choose what sushi we wanted in a plate. Here's the thing. The menu is not clear about this. If this is a set menu with no modifications allowed, then it needs to be mentioned on the sign. They should really update the menu board to make it clear. Don't get angry at the customers because of the vague menu sign you have. I almost regretted coming here. We waited a long time for our food to be ready as there were also people doing takeouts as well. Something I noticed was that people were opening their containers to put sauces. As seen from the photo, they are self serve. I saw the same cashier lady getting annoyed at someone for asking sauce cups, and there's even a sign there you cannot use water cups as sauce cup. I've never seen a place like this before, in a bad way. We came back home to eat our food and honestly, I was ready to write a 1 star review of this place. Sushi itself was actually not bad for the price. Salad was decent, but Miso soup was so bad, it was pretty much brown colored water. For the price for what it comes for, it's pretty good. Would I come back here again? Only if I'm on a tight budget and other sushi places aren't an option, I might come here, but just buy few pieces of sushi and that's it. I'll make my own miso soup at home.

Their sushi and rolls are fresh. For these prices, this place is amazing. There is no seating so basically this is a take out place. When I went today on a Thursday afternoon the place was packed with a line almost out the door and I see why. I don't know how the meat plates are but someone in my group who had the beef plate said it was just ok. We were all more than satisfied with the sushi platters though and I would absolutely return to order platters. You must order platters a day in advance. I tried ordering the day of and they said no can do. Also, there is a two platter limit which is a shame. They do not accept Amex.

OVERALL : SUCH a hidden gem and a spot that I will always be thinking about at least once a week -- I swear. Roll & Grill has some of the most affordable teriyaki bowls and sushi rolls around without sacrificing taste or quality. Their teriyaki (I've tried both beef and chicken) is nicely charred and not dry. They don't skimp on the meat, and the rice + veggies + sauce combo is so yum! As for the sushi, don't expect anything too fancy -- this spot is focused on your basic / classic rolls and handrolls. My fav is the spicy tuna roll and crunch roll. They pack the fish and don't overdo it on the rice. The spicy tuna has a good spice to it and tastes fresh. You can get so much food for a great value here! There's usually a line and I can def see why. Service is nothing over the top -- just quick, efficient, and to the point. I don't mind though since they're getting through so many customers in a day + the spot is takeout only. PARKING : Small parking lot shared with the other shops in the row of shops, but I never had a problem parking whether I come in the daytime or evening FOOD/DRINKS : Beef & Chicken Teriyaki Bowl - beef, chicken, veggies, rice, and teriyaki + yum yum sauce (they have bottles of sauce at the counter for you to add sauce) Spicy Tuna Roll - spicy tuna, avocado, rice -- Yall I was expecting cucumber but they actually put decent avocado pieces in the roll! Lots of spicy tuna too which is my fav! Spicy Tuna Hand Roll - spicy tuna, avocado, rice -- the seaweed is not crispy, but I don't mind for the price. big glob of spicy tuna makes up for it! Crunch Roll - shrimp tempura, imitation crab mix, avocado, rice, tempura crunchies, unagi sauce -- I usually don't get this roll, but it's a must for me when I come here just bc it's so affordable and a good little break from the raw fish.

Unbeatable value for what you get. Came to see what the hype was about and this place delivered. It kind of reminded me of my broke younger days. I ordered the beef and chicken bowl and was shocked by how much they give for only $7. I also tried the Spicy Tuna and Philadelphia roll and both were fresh it was way too much food in the end. Service was super quick I feel like my food came out in about 3 minutes after I ordered. I overheard that the baked rolls take longer for those who order it. It doesn't seem like they raised their prices after their popularity. Definitely will come back

Small clean and only take out. Wish I would have been able to sit and eat there, fresh n hot, but it's to go or to CAR. Once again I use to go to and franchise location for chicken bowl w vegetables and rice but it cost more. Meaning this place is not cheap but worth the prices.

Okay, I need to talk about Sona Fusion because we had the BEST time here and I don't want you to miss it. First things first -- this place is only 10 minutes from Disneyland, which already makes it a win. And if you're a cast member, show your ID because they give you 10% off. How cool is that?! Here's everything we ordered: Starters & Salads * Calamari * Golden Pear Salad Entrées * Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries * Filet Mignon and Mushroom * Signature Vietnamese Pho * Popcorn Chicken with Truffle Fries Drinks * Thai Tea * Mango Lychee Tea * Strawberry Mango Tea We tried half the menu and loved every single bite. Can we also talk about the men? The variety is there and small and not overwhelming. There's something for everyone without giving you decision fatigue. My picky eater? He demolished the popcorn chicken and truffle fries. The pho -- the meat was so tender it was literally falling off the bone. The pear salad was the perfect light balance to all the richness. Chef's kiss. Let me talk about the space because this is a big deal for families. Our baby was sleeping and we really needed to keep her in the stroller -- and it was no problem at all. The inside is super spacious and they even have a back room, so we were able to park her stroller right next to our table without disrupting anyone. It was so easy to make it work for us as a family and that is not something I take for granted. This is exactly why families need to try Sona Fusion. Look, there are probably a lot of options near Disneyland but let's be honest -- it's usually fast food. AND they're open until 1:30 AM, so whether you're heading here before the park or after, Sona Fusion has you covered. So many possibilities and honestly? I'm so excited for you to try it.

The finger foods was Asian‑inspired, with flavors like black sesame, curry, and other creative twists that made each bite feel unique. Every piece was thoughtfully made, rich, and decadent without feeling repetitive, and the presentation was beautiful across the board. It definitely felt like a more elevated, modern take on afternoon tea. The tea itself, however, fell a bit short for me. I ordered a non‑caffeinated chrysanthemum tea, which unfortunately didn't have much depth or flavor. My friend's Darjeeling was better, but still not as rich or complex as I've had elsewhere. Given how strong the Asian inspiration is in the food, it would've been nice to see more thoughtful decaf tea options in that same direction, like decaf sencha, barley tea, or kuromamecha, to better match the concept. Price: The afternoon tea service is prix fixe at around $45 per person, which includes a curated set of savory bites, desserts, and a pot of tea. For the quality and creativity of the food, the price feels pretty reasonable compared to other OC tea services, though the tea itself didn't quite meet the same level as the food. Ambiance: The space is bright, warm, and inviting, with a nice amount of natural sunlight coming in that makes it feel cozy rather than stuffy. There are subtle Asian design elements woven into the décor, giving it a modern, slightly upscale feel without being overly formal. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and linger over tea. Service: Service was good, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Even during a busy service, staff remained kind and approachable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. Parking: Parking can take a bit of effort. Since it's located on a busy street in Orange, you may need to circle around the roundabout or park a little farther away and walk over. Not impossible, but definitely something to plan for, especially on weekends.

Cons: - everything was a bit sweet - the pork katsu was a bit bland as well as the mac salad side dish - the pork katsu sort of peeled away from the meat because of the heat of the dish overall: - great service, big portions, would visit again! just beware if you want a spicer version of these dishes and a stronger taste. the katsu could have been a bit crisper as well, I think the bibimbap was done very well. the dishes are served in a stone plate keeping them hot through the meal
