We've been coming here for YEARS... all the way back to when Annie was our server... miss her a lot. Always good, always fresh, and never disappointed. Now let's hit some points. First, the BOGO deal is awesome. There are happy hour deals, but we rarely get there in time to take advantage. It's just a bit of a drive for us to get there early enough. Second, the Chefs!!! Go to any sushi joint you want... you've got ONE chef slinging fish, totally backed up, trying his best to keep pace, and all the while losing attention to detail and presentation. CRnS always has 3 sometimes 4 Chef's behind the line. The result is faster service.... Of course.... But presentations that are almost too pretty to eat... but, it's sushi, so we eat them anyway. And third, the servers.... They are pretty consistent....There are not new servers every other week like some lesser joints. You get familiar with them and they get familiar you. Which leads me to James! James is awesome, polite, helpful, attentive, and just does a great job. I could never do it.... I'd be like "Bruh, I was just here 2 minutes ago, why didn't you ask more Wasabi and Ginger then?" Not James, always glad to bring us more Wasabi and Ginger.... Legit spot, food is good. La Puente's location is by far better, as far as, drink choices, and starters. Fullerton's Rock'N Sushi does not start you off with a soap, and the edamame is plain vs La Puente's location, starters - soap and spicy garlic edamame to start-off. Aside from that, good deals and Fullerton still has the BOGO. Parking is a plus vs La Puente's location. First timer at the Fullerton location, I would come back if I am in the area but won't go out of my way as I will for the La Puente location. Overall, if you're a Rock'N Sushi fan, stick to La Puente's location, you get more of a bang for your dollar at the La Puente's Rock'N Sushi. read more

Spicy tuna roll and mixed sushi for me. My friend said her tempura was hot and fresh and roll good. My spicy tuna roll was excellent, had a little kick and was a good size. The sushi was good but a little small for the up charge. I paid $4 extra for the sushi (not worth it) and $1 for the roll. Now, my issue is this, if you are touting a lunch special, then make it a good value. The two item bento was already priced ($ 18) to have easily covered the options without being up charged, in my opinion. My friend had hot green tea and I had iced green tea. Both were very good with free refills. The menu itself was huge, with lots of selections and options. Service The waitress was attentive, helpful, but not constantly hovering. The food took a while (20 minutes) to make but the service was good. Ambiance As this place is tucked away off Harbor and there are only a few places left in that complex, it is easy to get the impression this place may be a little divvy. It was very nice and clean inside. Low lighting, well appointed tables, booths, and sushi bar. It gave good vibes. Value for price The total bill for this was $68 for two people inclusive of tip. Not terrible, but also not lunch special pricing. The rolls seemed a little high in price too. Maybe that is the by product of being one of the last businesses here, or a sign of the times. This is our new go to spot for sushi. There was plenty of parking. The restaurant is dim and the booths felt very private. The decor and the vibe of the place was really nice. Always a winner! I never come to this place without ordering this. -2 item salmon bento box with mixed tempura that comes with miso soup, rice, salad, and small fruits. Salmon has improved a lot since I ordered from last time. Delicious! -2 sushi rolls BOGO for 50% off - Happy hour menu: 2 salmon handrolls, 1 spicy tuna handroll, takoyaki, eggroll, and 2 sashimis (salmon & yellowtail). HH ended at 4pm when we were there on a Saturday. Everything we got were tasty and prepared fresh. -Complimentary 3 miso soups and a birthday matcha ice cream cake. Mid at best. Started coming here 3 years ago and our last 3 visits we barely sub par. The tip of the iceberg berg on this last visit was over complicating a very simple dish. Jalapeno yellowtail. Usually just needs ponzu, jalapeno, cilantro and good quality yellowtail. For some reason the dish took around 15 minutes to come out in a half full restaurant for it to be dressed with sriracha and a ton of mango slaw at the base of the plate. The dish was bastardized. I wish I could give them no stars. My entire experience is based on the service: We came in did their check in. Not one person on the staff acknowledge we were even there. They passed by us several times, and made barely made eye contact. One person walked right past us, even after she knew we hadn't been acknowledged.
